Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. About: I have 2 dogs and a cat, and have had 8 dogs, 22 cat ,12 birds, and a goat at the same time growing up and I took care of them all. I can walk any dog no problem have been training our puppy to walk around loose lease. I’m a stay at home mom of 3. So I can drop in as much as needed. To ensure personalized care, I accept a maximum of two guest dogs (40 lbs or less) at a time. I work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision throughout the day. Guest dogs are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to step out, all dogs are safely crated for everyone's security. Outside breaks are offered every 2–3 hours (or more often if needed), with plenty of opportunities for sniffing, play, and relaxation. Most days include two walks, enrichment activities, and, when weather permits, a longer hike or adventure around the adjoining 150-acre property using secure long lines. Dogs who enjoy the water may also have the opportunity to splash in the pond or explore the creek with owner approval. Every dog's activity level is adjusted based on their age, fitness, personality, and your preferences. Your dog's safety and comfort always come first. Every new guest is required to complete a meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone is a good fit. Because my own dogs share the home, I look for guests who are dog-friendly or dog-tolerant. New dogs are introduced gradually, and crate-free time with my dogs only happens after I've assessed everyone's comfort and temperament. Dogs are continuously supervised while together, and I carefully manage interactions to keep the environment calm and positive. My home features approximately half an acre of securely fenced outdoor space, along with access to 150 acres for on-leash adventures. Guest dogs are never off leash outside the fenced yard; long lines are always used when exploring. About: Most of my pet care has consisted of looking after my late, elderly, miniature schnauzer. Since then I have enjoyed helping my family take care of two, 2 year old Australian Shepherd mixes. I’ve also used Trusted Housesitters and cared for two German shepherds and two bengal cats on multiple occasions. My schedule allows for me to change my routine as needed. I understand pets have routine and may need to be on a regular schedule. I can care for your pets in your home by following their routines, entertaining and playing with them, and giving them love and attention. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time.
About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I think my first gig I was maybe 13??? (I'll be 40 this year.) I just remember walking into my neighbors house after I fumbled with the key and the cats being happy to see me. I have experience with senior cats and kittens alike, and also dog care from puppy to senior. I can administer oral medication in pill pouches but I don't like the forceful method. I can also help with topical medications as needed. I do have formal training in any of these areas just many years of helping take care of my own and others. I do not have a fenced in yard but there is a park 3 miles from my house that is gorgeous for dog walks.
