“At the last minute we decided to change our plans and needed a pet sitter. Jennifer answered all my first timer questions fast and with confidence that our dog would be a great fit. She was not wrong! Our dog loved staying with her and found a new friend also. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone. She also sent videos and photos to help us feel even more at ease. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Suzanne is wonderful. She kept in touch the whole time our boxer was with her. She has tons of room for a pup to run and play. She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior as well and I never worried about anything. We will be using her again!”

“June was AMAZINGGGGG!! Absolute best sitter I’ve ever had for River!! She kept great communication the entire time I was away, with plenty of pictures and stories. We will definitely be going to June again in the future!! THANK YOU!!!”

About: I have been around dogs and cats for most of my life. In college, I worked at a boarding and training service for dogs. I currently have three of my own, and love being a dog mom. I treat my dogs like they are my children, and I enjoy being around animals all the time! I am a teacher, so during the summer months I have a lot of availability. I am looking to help out those who are busy or work during the summer. I can drop in to let out your pet and play with them for 10-15 minutes. For walking services, I will spend 30 minutes walking, and then play for 10-15 minutes. I have a spacious home and yard, but it is not fenced in. I always go outside with the pets and supervise them. We live in a safe neighborhood. My dogs are friendly and well-socialized; they enjoy being around other animals.
“What a great Country farm! Who knew we had a farm dog lol. Thanks Addie did great and Madi was so kind. She followed directions and did what Addie needed during her recovery. Thanks.”

“Abby and her family were really loving with my Razzle. Great communication and pictures. Razzle had fun playing with her two fur babies and running around in their big backyard. Thank you so much we will definitely use you again.”

“Rosie had a great week! Jennifer was very accommodating and kept in touch daily. She even showed my kids around the farm. This was the first time leaving our dog and we were a little nervous, but everything went great!”

“Melissa is really good. Pixie loved her stay her with Melissa. I think Pixie was a little sad leaving her😅 Melissa was amazing with letting us know Pixie was doing and she took great care of her. We used to get pictures regularly.”

“We had a great experience— super communicative and flexible, with lots of photos and check-in’s so that I knew that everything was going ok. I appreciate the effort that went into helping my Eddie feel comfortable and confident in the new space!”

“Novalee/Brooke G. is a fantastic pet sitter! Our dog stayed with her for a week while I was out of town and he had the BEST TIME at her house! He spent his days romping with her adorable pups, playing inside and outside and sniffing all the smells on their neighborhood walks. Novalee also took him on excursions to various pet-friendly stores and family get togethers - which meant he rarely spent anytime alone. Her level of care is unmatched and we know that anytime our dog is with her, he is loved just like her own. I cannot recommend Novalee more highly!”

“Cindy is wonderful. I really liked that we met prior to our dog's visit. She is very professional and trustworthy. She sent several pictures of our dog while we were on our trip and it was such a relief to see things were going so well. Communication was fantastic and we will definitely rebook!”

“We could tell that Stella enjoyed her time with Betsy & Gordon and their children. We were very selective in our selected sitters leading up to our European vacation. This was our first out of the country vacation away from Stella. Betsy and Gordon provided us with great communication leading up to the booking, and great communication throughout. Easing my fur momma worries. We hope that Stella will visit again soon!”

“Very pleased with Haleigh. When I wasn’t able to take my dogs to her for the initial meet and greet, she instead came to my house and brought her rescue pup to make sure our dogs were compatible. She monitored all dogs’ social behavior for over an hour just for good measure. She was very quick to correct any concerning behavior. I appreciated that she was able to take my pups on short notice when the previous sitter canceled on me last minute. During the visit itself, she sent me pictures and commentaries to update me on their wellbeing, or to inform me of any concerns. I trusted that she knew how to keep her dogs and my dogs safe. They were kept indoors nearly all times. I’d recommend her services.”

About: Growing up, my family has never not had a dog. I come from a family of dog lovers! I have experience with Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I’ve always had a passion for animals and volunteer my time as a board member of Montana Pittie Project. My dog is my child and I will treat yours like it’s my baby as well! I also have experience taking care of special needs dogs, my dog that passed the rainbow bridge in August of 2022 was special needs himself. I have fostered multiple dogs while working in rescue and have experience with many different dog personalities and needs. I love sending photo updates to keep your mind at ease while you’re away. Feel free to ask me any questions! I work full time as a self employed hairstylist. With a flexible schedule I am able to take a break every day and hang out with my dog during the week. In the evenings I take Stella to a park nearby my house or we go on a walk around the neighborhood. I do have a fenced in yard. My current pup is kennel trained and it’s her safe space, if I work for a longer period than usual I have my own pet nanny or family checks in on my dog if I will be gone for too long. She is never along for more than 4-5 hours at a time. She eats in the morning and in the evening, I do not free feed. Stella has way more toys than any dog could need, and likes watching tv so I leave a nature show on for her when I leave the house. She’s a good girl.

“Jenn watched my puppy for the first time today and did a fantastic job! He has a somewhat complicated medical condition - she read about it before we met and handled it wonderfully. He was so happy (and tired) afterwards, and he loved playing with the other dogs in the house. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jennifer is incredibly professional all throughout the time you work with her. Her knowledge of dog care is impressive and I was excited to have her care for my dog. My Ava looks forward to going to her house and I work in peace knowing shes so well taken care of Jennifer is easily my new sitter !!”

“Novalee (aka: Brooke G.) is an amazing dog sitter and we cannot recommend her more! On the days our dog was scheduled to be with her, we needed early drop offs and flexible pickup times - both of which she easily accommodated. Our senior dog had the absolute BEST time hanging out with Novalee and her husband and their puppy crew (he slept like a baby after coming home because he had so much fun playing!) We absolutely 100% recommend Novalee and will definitely utilize her in the future when we need to go out of town!”

“Our dog LOVES staying with Suzanne! He has fun romping with her pups and enjoys smelling every corner of her back yard! He wasn't feeling 100% on this recent stay, and Suzanne was so kind to keep an extra eye on him and let me know how he did when I picked him up. Suzanne is extremely friendly and caring and was flexible when I was running late for drop off - we will 100% book her again in the future!”

“Andrew was a wonderful sitter! This was the first time I’ve ever used Rover for Doggy Day Care and it was such a positive experience. Andrew was flexible with us, as we were traveling to and from Cedar Point. He took Piper on several fun, long walks. He lives in a beautiful area, perfect for a pup to relax and also to enjoy nature. He sent pictures and was responsive with updates. I highly recommend him and would definitely rebook.”

About: We aim to be flexible and available. And we love pups of all shapes and sizes and all energy levels. We have a kid in college now and needed something to keep us sane. Spending some time with your little ones is just the thing. I run 3-4 days a week and walk a lot the other days. We have a very friendly and high energy Weimaraner, who loves to play with other dogs and kids. My husband (Shawn) is the best frisbee thrower in the world. I work from home, so frequent attention is not a problem. Excessive barking would need to be managed, but not a deal breaker. I love all animals and have a mild allergy to cats so I don't bring them to my home but I can be around them as long as I take my Claritin. My schedule is flexible and I make your pet the priority. Working from home allows me to balance time both indoors and outside and allow for play and naps. I do like to prioritize exercise in the morning and at lunch so that I get good naps while I work. My office has a futon and dog bed that allow for me to be with them all day. If the calendar looks like I am not available for your dates, message me anyway. I always try to be flexible and make things work! My dog is perimeter trained in our yard, but we also have 50 ft cables for those not able to be outside without wandering or aren't the best with recall. We have easy furniture and our house has been lived in by many dogs and children. We are about 5 minutes away from our local dog park.

Which requires taking care of 5 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, mice, sugar gliders, a parakeet, fish, and turtles. 2 of the dogs required medication multiple times a day so I have experience with that as well. I currently work every 3rd day, which leaves 5 days out of the week completely available to come by and walk your dog or stop in and feed animals. I have experience walking dogs on leashes as well as if I stop by and let them go potty I have no issue picking up after dogs as well. I will make sure they’re fed and safely put up if need be before leaving. I will also be sure to send plenty of pictures and updates!

So even your plants will get the best care.

About: I’ve spent the past eight years caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments from energetic puppies to large, strong dogs and older pets needing a gentler pace and I’m completely comfortable adapting to each one’s needs. Over time, I’ve learned how important consistency, patience, and understanding behavior are, whether that means handling high-energy walks, reinforcing routines, or helping a nervous dog feel at ease. What sets me apart is that I don’t just walk or check in and leave—I take the time to build trust, give them attention, and make sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every dog like my own, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. Pet care and pet sitting fit seamlessly into my schedule, allowing me to be flexible and dependable for both regular visits and last-minute needs. With more availability during the current season and upcoming summer, I’m able to offer consistent care, longer visits, and more time for walks, play, and attention. This flexibility benefits clients by ensuring their pets maintain a stable routine, get extra exercise, and receive reliable, attentive care while they’re away, especially during busy travel months. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pets. I always prioritize safety, follow your instructions closely, and keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and doing well. I’m respectful of your space, dependable, and treat your home and pets with the same care I give my own. When pet sitting, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep things stress-free. This typically includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks or litter box care, playtime or companionship, and any medications if needed. I also do quick check-ins around the home (like making sure everything is secure) and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to keep everything as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away.

“Andrew did an excellent job with our golden retriever. We told him she loved being outside, and he had her out most of the weekend, with multiple walks a day, and kept us updated on how she was doing. She was living her best life for a couple days! Will definitely be coming back to him whenever we need a sitter in Port Clinton!”
