I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! About: Your pet is treated as my own and a family member. Your fur baby is not crated unless you request that and provide the crate. Your pet gets to go outside and run and play several times a day. I go out and encourage playing and running for exercise. When the weather permits, we walk through the field and explore along the canal. If your pet is older and doesn't want to play or explore, that's ok. I have plenty of shaded areas for them to just lounge and take a snooze while I sit with them and read. I would love to share your fur babies with you. Must provide proof of all shot records (including Kennel Cough vaccine). I insist on a meet and greet to make sure that your fur baby is going to be a good match with our family. I do not board pit bulls (or pit mixes), German Shepherds, Rottweilers it any aggressive dogs for my safety as well as my pup. I am retired. I never leave your pups alone. If I need to run to the store, my husband is here with the pups. When the pups are outside, I'm outside work them. I have a large fenced in back yard and a standard poodle that would love to play with your pup/pups and keep them company. She loves having new playmates.

Since I work from home, I am able to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I will follow each pets normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and special instructions.
About: I have grown up around so many animals such as dogs, cats, livestock, fish and hamsters! I’ve learned how to take proper care of and give them the life they deserve and more. I do then work full time monday- friday 10-12 hour days, but weekends and some weekdays i’m available and all for playing with puppies and any other animals! At home I do not have a fenced in yard and my dogs know the commands and know where they’re allowed to go and where they’re not allowed to go. At a clients house I will accommodate any needs their pets may have or continue with the animals routines as close as I can!

In my spare time, I volunteer at the Humane Society to help exercise and socialize those dogs that are looking for their forever home. I can administer medication and give injection medication. About: I have experience with most pets. I specialize in “high maintenance” animals. If your pet’s care routine requires extra attention to detail (meds/ supplements, specific routines) I have experience with all of that. I have owned horses for thirteen years, dogs and cats most of my life, and have been doing animal care for over five. I am available to house sit as well. Animal care is my job. I have clients with a variety of animals (horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs etc.) I schedule my personal activities around my animal care jobs. I can give basic medications if needed or bottle feed/syringe. I can let out your dog on a runner or lead if that is preferred. Walks are also fine, given proper training based on the specific needs of the dog. I can provide playtime and enrichment to help with extra energy that needs burned off as well.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family, neighbors, and friends for the last 6-7 years. I have more experience with dogs— ranging from all sizes and ages, however I love cats and never say no to a feline friend as well! Expected care for the animals from me has included daily walks, feeding per directed schedule, hanging out with them, medication administration as needed, and cleaning up after them after an occasional “oopsie”. Most of my experience has been staying in client houses, so I am comfortable with that, however I am also more than confident with driving back and forth for potty breaks throughout the day. I just completed grad school and I am a certified Physician Associate working in the ER. My work schedule is typically 2-3 12h shifts a week— flipping between day and night shifts. My schedule for pet care is more client-based than anything and I will always work my personal schedule around taking care of the animals needs first. I will always put them on leashes unless they are fenced in and I will go outside with them initially to keep an eye on them and to feel out the surroundings myself.

In the evening, I usually respond within a few minutes. I walk on a daily basis personally and am used to taking dogs on walks at least a few times a day. I can do dog walking in the evening and if you live in the Fairlawn/Montrose area, I can do drop in visits between 12 pm-1 pm. I keep my availability up to date on this calendar as well. I live in a two bedroom apartment, but I live near a dog park I can take them to and can take them out every hour or two during the weekend if the board with me. I would take them on at least one walk minimum whether staying at my apartment or taking care of them at yours. The walks can vary from an half an hour to an hour or more depending on the dog and how your dog is feeling. I always ask their feeding schedule and an dietary restrictions. At my home, I have intellectual toys as well as just typical toys. If allowed, dogs and cats are more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. I allow animals on my furniture and have locks on cabinets to ensure they cannot get anything to harm them. I keep treats and food at my apartment. For walks, I have a hands free leash that goes around waist, so that way there is not a chance that the leash slips out of my hands.
About: I’ve had animals all my life and I also work at a zoo. So taking care of animals is my job! Literally! Between my parents house and my house we have 5 pets that I love with all my heart! I’m currently working Part-time so anywhere before or after work I can come and walk your dogs and stop in to make sure all animals are well taken care of! I always make sure all animals have food and water before I leave. That is my top priority. I clean cats litter boxes as well as pick up after the dogs in the yard.
