About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl and that has been many many years ago. I have also worked as an animal tech and research assistant where I maintained animal colonies and worked with large animals. I believe having animals in your life is a blessing. I am retired and I love animals so I thought I would give some love and attention to the animals that need some attention while the owner is away from them. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs can run and play. I am also there with the dogs most if not all of the day.

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. I actively train (and occasionally compete) in agility, herding, trick training, scent and others with my dogs as well as helping introduce others to CPE Agility as an instructor at Clermont County Dog Training Club. I'm comfortable administering most medications, happy to follow your dog's routine, and require a meet-and-greet before every first stay. We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets. We make sure she has her safe space by not allowing even our dogs free access to her room and when we have new doggie friends, we typically put up an extra gate in the hall just to make sure everyone has their space.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I think my first gig I was maybe 13??? (I'll be 40 this year.) I just remember walking into my neighbors house after I fumbled with the key and the cats being happy to see me. For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need.
