About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.

And it was Susan who absolutely saved the day for us. We had a plan that didn’t work out and suddenly needed someone we trusted in a town where we knew not a soul to care for our 3 small pups. Our smallest being a 3 pound tea cup yorkie who suffers separation anxiety when she and my mom (her human) are apart. Susan took time to meet the family and the pups. She followed instructions to insure our 3 fur babies were comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! About: I am a huge animal lover! I currently have an 12 year old Goldendoodle named Stella. I have had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine ever being without one! I have a young energetic dog that loves to play and a have an older dog that loves to get the zoomies and then become a couch potato. When I am away, my dogs stay in their crates. For your furry friend, I can use a doggy gate to give them some extra space since they are in a new environment. I can keep them in my kitchen which will give them enough space to walk around and lay in their bed. My dogs takes medicine twice a day so I already have a routine for giving medications to my dogs. I would be happy to walk your furry friends with my dogs or by themselves if that is your preference. We also have plenty of dogs toys ranging from stuffed animals to the Bark Super Chewer toys, if your dog likes to destroy toys, like mine does. I have two beagles so I am used to food driven dogs that only listen if there are treats involved. I also have my garbage secured underneath the cabinets with baby locks on them so no animal can get to it. I also am within 20 minutes of a 24 hours emergency vet if your dog was to ever show any concerning signs.
