I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and have cared for dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, reptiles, bunnies, and pets that require medication. Since I work remotely, I’m able to give your pet lots of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and helped train them when they were puppies. I have 1 dog and a cat right now, and love playing with, walking them, and cuddling. I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years and as a pet groomer for under 1 year, and I also earned my Dog Training Certification through Animal Behavior College. I adore pets and always have, and I strive to make any pets day the best with whatever they need! I currently go to school and work part-time. Working part time allows me to have more time to play with your dogs. I am able to spend time with your pups on Mondays and Wednesdays anytime 12pm or after. Along with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at any time! The first thing I will always do with your pups is let them get to know me by letting them set the course of our greeting, if they are shy we go slower. Whatever the dog needs is my number one priority along with keeping the Pet Parent informed. I will always be attentive when watching your pup in your home, and if there is medication that needs to be administered I can do so properly with the exception of needles/shots.

About: The picture I have set is actually my own cat King Zoro! That’s my mini bestie. I have had experience with lots of cats throughout my life. And the other is a young puppy and they did not have an issue with the "puppy behaviors". I worked a very long day and I was so happy to have them be able to watch them. About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life. I worked at a dog hotel, where I took care of almost 30 dogs at a time. I know a lot about all different ages and breeds. I’ve trained a few dogs as well! I also have bathed and trimmed nails. Animals are my passion and I would absolutely love to help make sure yours is taken care of! I don’t have a fenced yard but I love taking walks rain or shine and I have a long leash to make sure the pups stay safe. There’s also a field near by that I take my dog too. About: I've taken care of my own dog for the past 9 years Including training. (Black mouth cur). I've also dog sit for my friends husky puppy for about a years time before I moved out of the area. I volunteered At a petting zoo for a few years taking care of multiple species. And I even worked as a professional zookeeper for a year + working with wolves, several big cat species, along with primates, hoofstock, giraffe, several birds like macaw and parrots, and also reptile species. I've prepared and provides these animals with special diets, given medication, worked on training, and even helped bottle feed and raise several animals such as goats, cougars, penguins, and others. I currently work as a marine Biologist who goes out to sea several days at a time with not a lot of warning so I can watch houses and walk dogs several days In a row but It's easiest for me to schedule only a day or two in advance. I'm always very animal attentive and I will focus on your pets needs and their behaviors. I like walking so if I house sit your dog I will make sure they get plenty of exercise. Anything like providing medications or whatever your pet needs I can do up to your discretion and I listen to owners for all of their specific pet care institutions

About: While I'm more experienced with cats in my home, I have always been the go-to pet sitter for all friends and family. I appreciate that they get just as excited to go for a w-a-l-k as I do. It helps that my schedule is extremely flexible since I'm a bartender who works odd hours. I can do early mornings, late nights, and a mix of anything you need in between. I'm a bartender, so I am available early mornings, late nights, and a good mix of anything in between. The bar I work at is also closed on Sundays and Mondays, so scheduling on those days is completely flexible. My cats are fairly active, so we spend quite a bit of time playing fetch or hide and seek (cats are so odd). I also take them on bike rides with my bike trailer attachment. I'm also equipped to handle medication needs. I don't crate my cats when I'm not home, so that would have to be provided by the client if there is a requirement for one.

About: I am just starting to my fourth career, playing with your companion. I recently retired from teaching sustainable development at UAlbany. I now spend my days outside with hairy friend Herman. I picked up my first stray, Bandit, at 9. I have had a at least one dog since then, I am now 63. All from shelters or strays. I also did doggie foster care too. Known to be gentle and friend of the furry ones. I start each day with a morning meander across the 25 acres on a dead end road. Your companion will be well exercised, loved and cared for as long as they get along with my 14 year old hairy friend Herman, who lets cats eat from his dishes. He runs the place when it comes to house rules. He does not have viscous bone in his body. After three careers and global travel I am recently retired. My days are spent gardening, walking, sitting on the porch, listening to music, etc. I am rarely gone more than a few hours as Herman, my four legged friend, needs special care at 14 years old. I am typically up before dawn, no dog or alarm necessary. My day typically begins with me waking predawn and greeting the new day with my hound Herman on the 25 acres we cohabitate. Most is abandoned agriculture returning to forest for 35 plus years that is bisected by a small babbling brook. Breakfast is then served before returning outside. In climate weather I am outside more than 70% of my day outside. At 14 he chooses to stay in sometimes. Your companion will be free to make their own choice too. My life ambition is to nurture life. I have cared for pets since I was born as my family had cats. There is a fenced area that includes four shaded area. There will be plenty of water, including a baby pool for play as well as sprinklers. This area is shares two fences lines with my garden, has direct access to a walk out basement, and is fully visible from my porch. The dogs will have near 24/7 personal attention and care. I live sustainably. There are no chemicals in my lawn or garden. I have an enclosed porch that in the summer is open air, but no steps to escape. Only with your permission would I walk a guest off leash. Before walking them off leash I will need feel 100% confident they respond to command when other distractions are present. Again with your permission I would take your friend to a fenced in dog park visit as a trial run. Herman, my housemate, is a happy healthy 14 year old he is my best reference. He also has final word on all guest of all species. About an 1/2 acre is fenced with direct access from the house through the basement door. It includes shaded doggie lounges, a baby pool in the summer, toys galore, and lots of attention as the space is adjacent to my garden and the covered porch. It has the capacity to be divided if unruly dog needs to be isolated or there are little ones that just need time away from the bigger ones. Indoors, dogs are free to roam in the basement and first floor. If they are cage trained I can accommodate that. The two beds are off limits. To prevent misunderstanding with bed loving dogs I will keep my guest room. Both the porch and the living room couches are fine. Little ones may use chairs too. The house is really set up for Herman’s comfort and safety. The 32x10 covered front porch is a favorite of Herman and all his visiting friends. Your hairy friend will be delighted by this feature too. One more thing, the hardwood floors are currently covered in rubber “yoga mats” as Herman can not cope with slippery floors. There are also many large dog beds that Herman is happy to share. Opps, where are our manners; welcome to our slice of Paradise!😊
