About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. I’ve had experience dog and cat sitting for about ten years now. I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter where I walked dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I take a big role in caring for my family dog, Gus, who is my pride and joy! She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). She stayed in my house with them for over a week during Christmas and New Years, was a great communicator, kept me updated with photos, and I felt very reassured leaving my pets with someone so responsible. Upon my return everything was tidy, the cats were well fed with extra food and water laid out, and litter boxes cleaned. About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I would love to have many digs but at the moment we can only afford one as we travel through occasionally. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. For boarding I do provide dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home.
