“Polina recently watched my little dog Lilly. She is amazing. She was super nice and attentive to Lilly. She is super friendly and loves dogs. She will send updates with pictures of how your dog is doing. I will keep using Polina as my new dog sitter.”

“Rachel was easy to communicate with and very flexible when our plans changed. Emma loved being at her home with her dog and kids. I think Emma enjoyed herself just as much as we did on our trip. We would definitely use Rachel’s services again.”

“Tracy is our go-to when we need someone to care for our dogs. She always pays attention to detail and keeps us in the loop on how our dogs are doing. We would recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a reliable person who is sweet to their animals! 🤍”

“Carrie and her husband took excellent care of my almost 16 year old pug. I haven’t left her with anyone else in a very long time so was a little nervous, for both her and the sitter. She kept me updated with texts and pictures and was told she was just fine. I’m hoping she can go there again when I need overnight stays.”

“Angela did an amazing job taking care of Gigi. Gigi was a happy tired girl when I picked her up from having so much fun. Highly recommend. I look forward to using Angela again.”

“Debbie is the most amazing person and the care and attention our dogs get is simply wonderful! I never worry about our fur babies when they are in Debbie’s Care! Her and her husband treat them like family. Our dogs simply love them!!”

“Our dog, Moxie, loved her overnight stay with Donna! She sent lots of pics and video throughout the day so we could see how well she was doing. From the fenced in yard, options for space to hang out solo or with other dogs and the care shown at check in, it’s clear the dogs in her care are loved and so well cared for. We are so happy we found Donna and will definitely be reaching out when we need a sitter again.”

“Christine and Matt were great! Delilah clearly had a great weekend with them and was very comfortable in their home! Christine and Matt were very flexible with plans and maintained excellent communication. Highly recommend, we will be using them again! Our dog has new best friends!”

“Huijun and her husband took excellent care of my boys, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She kept me updated every single day by sending videos and messages, letting me know when they had dinner and when they were settled in for the night. It gave me so much peace of mind to see how comfortable and well cared for they were. In one of the videos, I saw her giving one of my boys cuddles, and he was clearly loving the attention, which meant a lot to me. I had sent them with a full bag of their belongings, and everything was returned exactly as I left it, which I really appreciated. On top of that, my flight ended up being delayed, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating with the change in timing. Their flexibility and kindness truly stood out. Overall, I was extremely happy with the level of care and attention my boys received. I would absolutely trust them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.”

“Holly is the kind of care you would hope to have with a 5 star review. Not only did she truly care about my pups, she treated them as one of her own and sent me frequent updates on how they were doing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“If you want your dog to be in a loving, beautful home with great, responsible, happy, and experienced people - Becky and her family should be a top choice! She welcomed and took care of Ruby as if she was her own. Exercised and walked her often. Played with her and sent many happy pictures. Becky is a 5-star sitter!”

“Jocelyn ha been amazing! She is very responsive and keeps me informed all the way thru each pet- sitting experience with photos and texts throughout the day. She is so loving with my girl and always takes such good care of her! Highly recommend!!”

“Yakelin has been a super lovely and caring dog sitter for my fur baby, Tonton. She and her family all shared a lot of love and care for my dog. We appreciate their attention to my dog’s medical conditions, and frequent updates with videos and pictures. The love and warmth we received from her and family is highly appreciated!”

“Lindsey is a great dog sitter! I wasn't able to have my dog Zoe with me for Christmas this year, so she got to spend it with Lindsey and her family. Zoe was right at home there on "the farm" and really enjoyed being part of the family. She made some new friends with the chickens and horses and Lindsey's two dogs who were very friendly with Zoe. I highly recommend Lindsey if you have a dog who likes to be social and likes small children and other animals. Thank you Lindsey for taking such good care of my girl!”

“Sue was so wonderful to board with! Unfortunately, due to weather and flight delays, we had to extend our trip a bit on both ends, and Sue was extremely helpful and willing to take our pet for the extra time. We also got daily photo updates, so we knew he was settling in well and well taken care of. She was even willing to do a meet and greet prior to the start of our trip. We would definitely recommend her to others, thank you Sue!”

“This is our dogs second visit to Dan and Teresa’s. They are very communicative and accommodating to what our dogs need. Our dogs were very happy and welcomed as if they were a part of the family. We have been extremely satisfied and will continue to drive a little farther to have our dogs be taken care of by Dan and Teresa.”

“Tia is absolutely fantastic! She and her family took such great care of our dog. This is the third time we’ve left her with Tia and have had a great experience every time. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while away. Highly recommend Tia to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care!”

“Georgianne was a great sitter and our puppy had a fantastic time with her. She has a big yard and a friendly dog perfect for playing. We would definitely hire her to watch our dog again!”

“We had a great experience with John. We did a first meet-and-greet at our home so our cat could get to know him, and that made a big difference. During the weekend he stayed at our place, our cat felt comfortable and well cared for. John was very responsive with messages and adapted perfectly to our cat’s routine: she likes to go outside for a couple of minutes to feel the cold and get some fresh air, then come back in for treats. Overall, it was a great decision and we would definitely book with him again.”

About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! In addition to Rover, I substitute teach right now, and this allows me to have a very flexible schedule. It's closer to part-time than full-time. My priority is to listen and adapt to each client’s needs/preferences, so that both the client and their pets will be as happy as possible.

About: I am from Lima Peru, I studied veterinary medicine at the Scientific University of the South. I am a cat lover. I have 5 cats ( including a blind one) I have worked with cats since I started studying veterinary medicine until now. I will take care of your little ones as if they were mine

“We were going to Kenya for two weeks and at the last moment our cat needed to be given medicine once/day. Usually the teen next door would come over to feed the cats but since we were instituting a new feeding regimen requiring wet food with a pill snuck in, we weren’t sure the teen would work. Although David primarily takes care of dogs, he agreed to stay in our house. Riley took his medicine every morning and we had the security of knowing someone was in our house keeping an eye on him. We were very grateful he was willing to do this.”

“Great communication, very professional, immediately apparent that he knew his way around cats (was willing to crawl on the floor to get a picture of my skittish boy under the bed).”

“Stephanie is a caring, compassionate person who takes care of our puppies like they are her own! She make sure they are part of the family, they play with her retriever and our dogs are always happy when they arrive and a little sad when they have to leave. Highly recommended! Five stars!”

“Tracy is an absolute sweetheart and lifesaver. She is very flexible and takes care of my baby like he was her own. I don't worry when she is watching him and it is such a relief not to have to worry. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Tracy!!”

“DayLin is my choice for a caring, competent and responsible Abbey sitter. My pup Abbey knows her so well and practically jumps out of the car to greet her as we arrive. High recommendations always!”

About: Animals, especially canines, are my entire life. I'm a pack leader at a dog daycare and it's the best! I have a large amount of experience in the animal care field, and also training in dog and cat behavior. Being a pet parent, I understand that you need to have someone trustworthy while you're away, and I am that person. With my own dogs, we enjoy being outside, a lot. Hiking, walking, swimming...we do it all. Exercise is very important to have a happy and healthy pet. I am a very happy-go-lucky person and dedicate my life to the happiness and wellness of animals. I have 13 different critters in my home, and more often that not: more dogs! I would be more than happy to get together and talk! My daily schedule is flexible. I have 12 dogs of my own that require constant care that include potty breaks and play time. Our pack is only alone for about 4-5 hours a day. All of our dogs (personal, boarding or foster) are generally integrated with the pack. We try to accommodate all dog personalities. If they don't do well in the big pack, we tend to crate and rotate smaller play groups. Wake up is anywhere from 5:30-8:30 am and last potty is around 9-9:30 pm. Feedings are 2-3 times a day that happen in either a crate, pen, or separate area to prevent any issues. Water is always available inside and outside the house. We also have so many toys, like drowning in toys. Our home is structured, but in a chaotic way.
“She was awesome! We were in town for the weekend, needed a sitter for Max for Saturday, and she was able to accommodate us. Will definitely go back when we come back to Syracruse! Max had fun and slept like a baby that night lol She was easy to reach by text, responded in an appropriate amount of time, and her property was away from the road, giving us piece of mind. Highly recommend.”

“Our dogs were well cared for and tired out when we picked them up! Extra attention was given to special dietary instructions for one of them and pick up and drop off was efficient. We were glad to use them again and know they were in good hands!”

“Susan looked after my dog Gainsley for a week while I was on vacation. I can not say enough good things about how well Susan took care of Gainsley while I was away. My dog is a rescue dog and very hesitant to attach herself with adults that she does not know. Susan understood Gainsley s needs completely. Susan regularly sent me pictures to constantly reassure me that Gainsley was happy. I can not thank her enough.”

About: *Please read through and understand my policies before booking - your pets well-being is what is most important to me! I have taken care of various pets since I was a kid. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and bearded dragons! I have always been the family/friend go-to for help with animals whether it is walking dogs, house-sitting, ect. I am a huge animal advocate and a Humane Policy Leader Volunteer with the ASPCA. Throughout high school and college, I looked for opportunities to help animals at an individual level (doing some rescue work, rehab work, fundraising, ect.), and it has greatly improved my knowledge about providing care for animals of various needs. I take the health and safety of animals very seriously, and will treat yours as my own. If you book a 24 hour+ period with me as your pet’s only caregiver, I require a minimum of 3 visits daily and will not allow your dog to be alone for more than 12 hours. With cats and other small animals there is flexibility with the amount of drop-ins. I also typically only do last minute bookings for clients I’ve worked with previously because they know my standards and I know their pet’s needs - this helps ensure that the client is comfortable with my care, the pet is comfortable with my care, and I am comfortable providing my services. I am available everyday for pet care and at various times. All scheduling details can be discussed further at a meet and greet to ensure you feel comfortable with the care your pet will be receiving :) I have special experience with diabetic animals, deaf animals, and animals with health/behavior needs. So that I am able to best take care of your pet, please let me know if there is anything I should know about your pet so that I can be prepared to give them the proper care. I would also ask that a meet and greet is set up prior to future visits so that we can ensure your pets comfortability with me while you are away! I will ensure during visits to send pictures of your pet to you and provide a summary of the visit to put your mind at ease, and of course text me on Rover at any point with any concerns or needs. As a fellow animal parent, I understand we experience some separation anxiety from our pets!

About: With 5 years of dedicated experience in pet care, I provide a comprehensive and compassionate service tailored to the unique needs of each animal. My expertise extends beyond basic care to include specialized skills such as positive reinforcement-based puppy training, helping to establish good habits from an early age. I also have a deep understanding of senior dog care, including administering medication, providing gentle exercise, and creating a comfortable, low-stress environment. I have experience managing a variety of medical conditions, ensuring your furry family member is safe and well-cared for at all times. My goal is to be a trusted partner in your pet's health and happiness, providing peace of mind while you're away. Each morning starts with feeding, watering, and a potty break for the pets in my care. This is followed by a morning walk or playtime to get their energy out and start the day on a positive note. Throughout the day, I follow individual schedules, which might include specific feeding times for puppies or senior dogs, medication administration, or scheduled walks and potty breaks. The afternoon often includes another round of playtime or enrichment activities, such as puzzle feeders or training sessions, to keep their minds engaged. Evenings are typically quieter, with a final feeding and potty break before a relaxing wind-down. My weekly routine involves a bit more planning. I coordinate with pet owners to schedule walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. I also use this time to restock on supplies and keep detailed records of each pet's behavior, eating habits, and health. If a pet is in my care for an extended period, I might schedule a grooming appointment to ensure they're in top shape. My schedule is built around the needs of the pet, ensuring they receive consistent, loving care and that their owners have peace of mind. Caring for pets, whether on my own or a client's, requires a responsible and attentive approach to ensure their well-being. A fundamental aspect is providing a consistent routine, including scheduled feeding times with high-quality, species-appropriate food and fresh water that is always accessible. Regular exercise is crucial for both physical and mental health; this can range from daily walks for dogs to interactive playtime. Environmental enrichment, such as toys, scratching posts, and comfortable bedding, helps prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. It's also vital to maintain a clean and safe living space by regularly cleaning food and water bowls, litter boxes, and bedding. Beyond daily care, a thorough pet care plan includes regular grooming, such as brushing and nail trims, and staying up-to-date on veterinary care, including vaccinations and preventative treatments for fleas, ticks, and worms. For client homes, clear communication is paramount. It is important for me to obtain detailed instructions regarding the pet's specific needs, routines, medications, and any behavioral quirks, as well as emergency contact information. I will be available from 4-8 during weekdays and any time during the weekend. I work in a school, so once it is summer vacation I will have open availability. I have to dogs of my own. During the school year os harder but I can do my best to accommodate. I have a fenced in yard, however we have an inground pool. No pet will ever be left outside alone. I can also work with your dog to be sure they sre comfortable and safe.
“Mariana was amazing with Apollo as always. She gave him the attention and care he needed and more. I love seeing how happy he is when he is with her. It gives me piece of mind knowing he is in good hands. She is very trustworthy and accommodating. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with their pets. She's a gem! ”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16. It started with watching my neighbors dogs! I have lots of experience with older dogs and puppies! I’m currently finishing out my Masters Therapy Program so have online classes, allowing me to be flexible and giving dogs attention whenever needed. Being home for the summer gives me the opportunity to give dogs the full attention and 1:1 time they need. I have such a passion for taking care of dogs that I will always put them first. I take care of dogs by giving them a nice long walk, playing with their dog toys with them, fetch, etc. I think physical activity is so important for dogs.
About: I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was a child I had all sorts of different pets. I had fish, hamsters, gerbils, lizards and rabbits. When I got older I had a family dog named Lulu who I helped house brake and train as a pup when I was in high school. When I became an adult I adopted my dog Weston who I’ve had and trained since he was an eight week old puppy. I’m very confident in my ability to help house train your young dog if need be. I understand how much stimulation and exercise they require. I’m happy to provide that through long walks, trips to the dog park and general outings. I have lots of chew toys around and ways to keep feisty puppies occupied. I’ve fostered cats as well as taken care of neighbors’ kittens including providing feedings and litter box cleaning when necessary. I’ve always wanted to have a parrot as a pet so if you have birds that need care I’d appreciate the opportunity to come help out and learn more about them :). I’m currently a full time pet sitter. I have a dog of my own as well. I will be available all hours of the day and night to care for your animal(s). I’m happy to spend the extra time taking puppies in training as well as senior dogs outside as much as they need. I have a friendly golden doodle named Weston to keep your pup company. I’m happy to help house brake puppies as well as provide care for senior animals.

“Angela did an amazing job taking care of Gigi. Gigi was a happy tired girl when I picked her up from having so much fun. Highly recommend. I look forward to using Angela again.”

“Meghan was awesome, she took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay, she's also a great photographer so you'd get nice shots of your pets, a 100% recommended.”

“All the Stars!!! This was our dogs first stay using Rover with Jenna and we couldn't be more pleased! Someone who cares for our pup like it was their own with daily pictures and updates! Penny had the best time playing with Stitch and followed good girl rules while she was there. We appreciate Jenna opening her home to our Doggo and taking the best care of her while we were away. Thank you isn't enough for taking such good care of our fur baby!”

“Wonderful dog sitter. I had absolutely no concern when I dropped off my Labrador, except that she might like him more than me 😊. He was very flexible taking in my dog over Easter weekend with less than a day of notice because I had to be in the hospital for surgery on very short notice. I appreciate what he did and I know my dog enjoyed her stay!”
“Lisa and Jon took care of my dog for a full week and they were excellent. Great communication, and regular updates with pictures, and our dogs seemed to get along great. We had no issues and I’ll definitely be coming back to Lisa and Jon the next time I have to leave town :)”

“Joan and Duncan are a great team. We brought our dog with us on a trip to see our son at university. Joan and Duncan were willing to take him in a cone. They made him comfortable and he was happy to go to them a second day. Highly recommend.”

“Andrew and his wife took excellent care of our dog over the weekend. It was his first time staying with them, so they sent me several updates and photos to let me know how he was doing. When we picked him up, they sent me home with a handwritten note, dog treats, and a new chew toy. A very thoughtful finishing touch!”

“Erix was so helpful in allowing a last minute stay for our dog. Our dog can be energetic and Erix was confident in his abilities to care for him, which was so appreciated. We'd certainly trust Erix services in the future! Thank you again, Erix!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I currently have my own dog, who I adopted as a puppy while I was in college and is now 4 years old. Raising her has given me experience with training, building routines, and understanding different stages of a dog’s development. I’m comfortable administering medication, brushing and bathing, handling anxious behaviors, and keeping pets on their regular care schedules. I also have experience walking dogs that pull and can confidently handle strong or high-energy pups while keeping walks safe and structured. Whether your pet needs active playtime, consistent routines, or gentle care and attention, I’m patient and attentive, and I treat every pet like my own. As a current medical student, I understand the importance of flexibility and prioritizing a pet's needs. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and dependable. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I am excited to learn about your pet's unique personality and am more than happy to accommodate any specific requests. As a medical student, my schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to thoughtfully plan pet care into my daily and weekly routine. While there are periods of time when I am less available, I’m committed to clear communication about my availability and will always work to accommodate your pet’s needs as best as possible. Time management is extremely important to my academic program, and I bring that same organization, dependability, and attention to detail to pet care. I take pride in my work and practice compassionate, attentive care in everything I do. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and value the trust you place in me to care for them. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I currently live in an apartment located directly across the street from a dog park with both large and small dog areas, which allows for convenient, safe, and appropriate exercise based on your dog’s size and temperament. The neighborhood is safe and very pet-friendly. I’m attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications or special care needs. I make sure pets receive both physical activity and plenty of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency and respect for your space. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and maintain your pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I’m also willing to travel or make special trips if your dog attends daycare, has a preferred park, or enjoys a specific walking route. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible, wherever they are.
