“We left Louie, our 10 year old toy poodle, with Pamela and her husband for 3 weeks. Louie needed to receive an assortment of medications throughout the day. Pamela was terrific! She took great care of Louie. She very clearly cares a lot of about pets and showed Louie a lot of love and attention. Her setting is ideal, located in the country surrounded by farmland. She has no pets of her own and only cares for one pet at a time. She sent us a lot of photos, almost every day, and told us how Louie was doing. We would definitely leave Louie with her again.”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

We were not able to go inside the house, but the yard was large, away from the road, and there were multiple fence runs for the dogs. Munchkin is a cavapoo, so his fur can get tangled pretty easily as well but Carol brushed him every day and he came home tangle-free which really shows the care she puts into the dogs she boards. She made sure he was well cared for and loved, and I 100% recommend her for anyone wanting to board their dog and will definitely book with her in the future. She even had me fill out additional info regarding Munchkin just so she knew more about him and the best way to care for him while I was away. She was truly the best dog sitter I could have imagined leaving my little guy with. If you are looking for someone to treat your dog as their own, then Carol is definitely the way to go!”

About: I've always had such a deep love for animals of any kind, and I've been taking care of all kinds of creatures ever since I was 9 or 10 years old! I've been responsible for taking care of family pets, as well as more professional pet-sitting for family, neighbors, friends, etc. I've always prided myself on my ability to treat your pets as if they were my own. I'm a very gentle, non-threatening entity for many animals I've cared for, but I can also be very energetic for those that need a way to get all that canine energy out! I will always keep to whatever walking, feeding, sleeping, potty, and/or medication (if needed) schedule that your pet(s) are used to doing, so they can be the most comfortable they can be. I'm truly hoping that I can make animal care my career, and my heart is full of love towards your fur (and scaly) babies! I'm currently working part-time at a dog groomer, so I'm available from Saturdays-Tuesdays (I work 12-6 Wednesday-Friday). I can do a Friday evening or a Wednesday morning if it's really needed. I try to spend as much time with your pet as possible, so that's why I'd recommend booking on the full days I have off from work. I have a small dog, so there are plenty of toys and treats available! We also have a crate and a baby gate, so if anyone needed some alone time, we can make that available for them. Our apartment also has a big courtyard, so if your pup needs some outdoor time, there's plenty of space to run around! (On a leash, of course)

About: We have two very high energy German Shorthair Pointers so I have lots of experience and good energy to bring for high energy dogs or cats! I do work from home full time, I love to get out of the house and do as much as possible with my free time! As a proud mom to four dogs, 12 goats, 15 chickens, and too many ducks and cats to count- I would be thrilled to get to know your furry friend and help with any pet responsibilities. About: I worked for a pet hotel for 5 years taking care of dogs and cats. This included doggy day camp (playtime), feeding, cleaning, and giving meds if needed. I handled exotic animals with two different wildlife education programs! As a pet mom myself I am no stranger to what an animal needs. It doesnt just fit into my schedule it is my schedule. About: My grandparents and mom were professional boarders, breeders, and handlers. I literally grew up on an ex-pen. Once my grandparents retired my mom opened a shop in 2006 and I joined as her certified bather and brusher in 2012. We have had our business ever since.. Taking care of dogs are literlly is in my DNA. I've also worked at a different grooming salon where I was also a bather and brusher. They loved me there because I always made their dogs feel warmed and welcomed by singing to them or giving them a nickname. I personally understand dogs better than humans. It would be my main gig as a job and take priority. I would be available everyday if need be. This is something that I love. Warm and welcomed. Treated as kings and queens who think they're in charge of the house. In or at a client's home respectful of their boundaries they have with their owner and the transition of the separation as they are handed off for their walk. Consoling and compassionate as well.
About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. It works out well because I’m a very active person who likes to get outside as much as possible—hiking when the weather permits and bringing him along with me. This is in part due to my ever-changing, flexible schedule. I have a few set shifts during the week, but for the most part I make my own hours and I have time to be available pretty much whenever I am needed!

I can even give you some tips and tricks to try at home! I'm currently a stay at home mom of two young kids so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby or fur babies. I will follow your very instructions. I can feed them whenever, give medications, and exercise them. I can crate them if need be as well.
About: Hi ! I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and have always enjoyed their friendship. I would enjoy taking care of your pets at your house or mine. My family has two dogs and a cat. The cat keeps to himself and the dogs are neutered and friendly, but i could keep them apart if you prefer. I live near a few beautiful parks and Seneca Lake so the opportunities of walks and play are endless. I have younger siblings that are good with pets and love playing with them, but if your pet isn't comfortable around children my siblings will keep their distance. I am available Monday and Tuesday after 4 and all day during the rest of the week.

About: I’ve had a medium sized dog of my own for the past six years. I also have been asked by numerous friends and family members if I could watch their dogs for a few days to weeks at a time. About: I have taken care of dogs since a very young age because I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house. I have watched dogs overnight as well as feed, walk and bathe them. I always am able to find a way to connect with the dogs and making sure they are always happy!! I have also have experience living with and caring for very young puppies and senior dogs . My weekday schedule is a little different everyday and somewhat flexible. I have most nights off and don’t have to be anywhere super early in the morning. On weekends, I have more free time and only have commitments Saturday for a few hours due to my job. Since I’ve always had a dog growing up, I understand how to rearrange my schedule and work with what is best for the dog to make sure it is getting all the care and love it needs! In my own home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I will take the dog(s) out on multiple walks a day and make sure they get lots of love, activity and attention. At a clients home, depending on the environment, I will do the same and/or let them out in the yard multiple times a day. I will always make sure they are in a safe place regardless if it is my home or my clients. It is extremely important to do what is best for the dog and I always make sure the doggo is happy and loved!

As a proud mom to four dogs, 12 goats, 15 chickens, and too many ducks and cats to count- I would be thrilled to get to know your furry friend and help with any pet responsibilities. I personally have a St. Bernard, English bulldog, and 2 Great Pyrenees. Large breeds are my specialty but I, of course, am a complete sucker for all the adorable tiny pups of the world too! “This was the first time leaving Nellie (12 yr old female) with any one but family. One week before our 2 week trip, we were left with no one to watch Nellie. We found Amy on Rover and she seemed like a good fit right away. We set up a meet and greet with Nellie and Amy and it went well, and we felt comfortable enough to leave Nellie with her and her family. The most important attribute that Amy had that was important to us was her comfort in administering lots of meds to a very resistant Nellie. Amy had her way and it worked perfectly with Nellie.
