My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

We love dogs and take a respectful approach to taking care of our babies, as well as the pets/family members of other dog lovers. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I am home all day on the weekend. My wife is also home all day on Mondays,Friday,Saturday and Sunday I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your furry baby company. Or be kept seperate if you prefer. I can also crate your dog if that's what they're used to. We have 14 acres with trails to I can walk your dog as well.

They went above and beyond, even creating a ‘pillow shelf’ so my dog could comfortably look out the window (one of her favorite activities). We will definitely be using them again!”

About: I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and will be sure to make your pup feel at home! I work from home and can give lots of attention. I also have a large open yard for play, enclosed kennel space as well, and a small dog for added socialization. I work from home and my own dog stays with me throughout the day. I do regular bathroom breaks, have access to water, and when the weather is nice get out for frequent walks. I have a shaded outdoor kennel should the weather be nice enough for my dog to have some extra outdoor time or use the screened in porch. Lots of options for your pup to get all they need. Your pet will follow the same schedule as my pup based on the time your pet is with me. Morning bathroom break, feeding (if applicable), time with me while I work, regular bathroom breaks during the day, end of work day feeding (if applicable), bathroom break before bedtime, and crated overnight. As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times
“Our 5-month old Goldendoodle puppy had a great time with Lori. He's active, growing, friendly, and loves playing with other dogs, and she supported all of his needs, especially the play and affection that's so important for puppy development. He liked her immediately, and came home happy and healthy. I'm also grateful for her flexibility when we had to extend his visit by a day because of a cancelled airline flight. I will definitely reach out to Lori the next time.”

“Chelsea and Christopher were so good with our girl Fea! Fea has a lot of anxiety especially with strangers. Our vet wasn't available to board her. So we went on Rover found Chelsea and Christopher. We had a meet and greet and Fea never growled or barked at them. She was wagging her tail and went for a stroll in their yard without us! We found the right folks to watch Fea. They sent us a photos and updates. We'll definitely send Fea there again!!”

About: My wife and I have had dogs of all types of dogs from ridgebacks to labradoodles and everything in between. We love dogs and take a respectful approach to taking care of our babies, as well as the pets/family members of other dog lovers. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I am home all day on the weekend. My wife is also home all day on Mondays,Friday,Saturday and Sunday I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your furry baby company. Or be kept seperate if you prefer. I can also crate your dog if that's what they're used to. We have 14 acres with trails to I can walk your dog as well.
“Kirsten and Mark were outstanding with our dog, and have a great setup to take care of your pets. A nice fenced in backyard with shoveled paths for the animals in the winter, toys and treats to share, and their own playful pups to help your dog feel at home. Kirsten sent photos throughout the stay so that we knew our dog was having a great ‘vacation’ too. They went above and beyond, even creating a ‘pillow shelf’ so my dog could comfortably look out the window (one of her favorite activities). We will definitely be using them again!”

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

We had a very unique situation where we really wanted our dog, Maui, to be a part of our wedding day and weren’t from the area so we were unsure how to find someone that could pick him up from the venue while we were getting married and board him overnight. Sue went above and beyond to pick him up and board him. Sue also kept us updated with how Maui was doing and he had a great time playing with her cockapoo Ninny! Highly recommend Sue to anyone in need of dog boarding!”

“Amanda was great with our dogs. She listened carefully to each of their needs and made sure to accommodate particular requests. Amanda was prompt in getting back to us anytime we reached out and sent us occasional photos of the dogs playing or resting. She has a lovely home and large fenced-in backyard where the dogs could run free and get plenty of exercise. We felt at ease knowing our precious pups were kept safe and warm while we were away!”
