About: I have over forty years of dog experience. I bred German Shepherd’s for fifteen years. I have taken obedience, agility, and Nose work from local professional trainers and have done puppy, beginner, intermediate and advanced obedience with three of my dogs. I also worked for 1.5 years at a doggie daycare in Utica. I want to do my doggie daycare on a small scale so your pet receives individual attention. I have seen places doing 25- 50 dogs with only one or two people watching them and I feel there is a great need for care on a much smaller scale. So here I am! I retired from banking and with my husband live on our small farm in the country. We built what we call the dog arena for exercising our personal dogs and I intend to use it to also exercise my clients dogs. I am available most weekends and week days. I was working a part time job at a doggie daycare but recently decided that I would prefer to be home with my pups and yours! I have a large fenced in exercise area. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉
About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. With years of personal experience, including caring for a senior dog who lived a full 15 years and now rests peacefully, as well as raising my adventurous 4-year-old cat and my energetic 2-year-old dog, I bring dedication and compassion to animal care. Whether providing hands-on assistance or finding homes for animals in need, I am always ready to go above and beyond to keep them out of harm’s way and surrounded by love. Animal care has always been a big part of my life. I grew up around animals, which eventually led me to work in a veterinary clinic where I gained hands-on experience with pet health, behavior, and daily care. I’m no longer employed at the clinic, but the knowledge and skills I gained there still guide the way I care for every pet I work with. My schedule is now fully open, which means I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I’m excited to meet you and your furry family member! 🐾 I have a medium sized outdoor fenced in area that also is connected to an indoor area to get out of the heat. I also have a dog tie out that goes from the house down our hill.
About: Rest assured that when you book a service with me, you will receive the utmost best care! I grew up tending my parents farm and we had plenty of cats and dog that lived with us. Growing up in this environment I know a lot about caring for animals. I am a very outgoing person who loves hiking, long walks to the park, and making homemade dog treats! I enjoy checking on cats and dogs, as well as providing plenty of play time. I’m a big fan of long walks on nice days! Safety is my priority! I have one pup of my own to keep yours company if you’d like. If not that’s okay too. She is a 20 lb shih tzu mix and loves to play! She is friendly with both dogs and cats. I offer all service options, from dog walking and check ins, to house and pet sitting.

About: I have personally had five family rescue dogs since the 1980s. The majority taken in from puppy stage up to 4 years of age. Most stayed with us through their senior years. I am retired from work and am available with a reliable vehicle equipped with pet crates for safe transportation or can travel to your home as necessary. I can care for your pet in my home on a 1-acre lot on a private road/area. Or, I can travel to your home as necessary.

About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!
About: From the excited, to the reserved, to the elderly, I have a depth of experience to care for your animal kin. I've helped care for senior dogs when they struggled to walk down stairs, when food requirements changed on a whim, when the house has to be changed to reduce trips on tiles, and even when they can start wandering past bed time. It was not easy to care for them as puppies and it's not easy when they are elderly. But if one loves enough when they are babies, then they love enough to do the same as they are seniors. I'm between jobs and actively looking, so I have plenty of time to care for all your animal family members beyond a stop to fill bowls and empty boxes and the like. It all comes down to the first meeting. Not the first job. I want to know what you, your pets, and your house is like so I can do my very best to be attentive and observent in caring for them. This includes setting up a person emergency plan for common emergency care should it arise. Preparedness beats panic after all!
