“Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”

About: I currently own an amazing certified Good Boy Austalian Cattle Dog and two snuggly cats. I have have always owned at least one pet, both cats and dogs since I was little. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. I've volunteered at dog shelters, spent hours walking dogs in all kinds of weather, and offered comfort to friends who've had to say goodbye to their best fur friends. About: Growing up I’ve always had dogs and truly think they’re amazing creatures. I’m comfortable with all sizes, and had several larger dogs throughout my life. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.

“She is truly amazing. She instantly made me feel at ease leaving our baby. Very communicative, daily updates with photos and videos. She goes above and beyond. Our baby suffers from allergies, and she was great with keeping up medications and updates on symptoms. It was his first birthday not at home with us, and she went out of her way to ensure his day was special and got him special birthday treats. She made him feel comfortable, very loving and truly caring. I can tell she has a big heart, and really has a love for animals, I saw she really cared. It was so nice to see, she eased my mind, especially as I tend to over worry about him, and he was very happy with her as so were we. We would DEFINITELY rebook. I cannot thank her enough for her care, love, attentiveness she had for our baby Guinness.”
“Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”
“Nicole is absolutely amazing! Our boys loved her. They were treated like little princes. She has a wonderful space dedicated for pups with lots of room to run, play and relax. Kept us updated on how they were faring and sent awesome pictures. Basically it was a vacation for the boys. She’ll definitely be our go to choice for taking care of our guys!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Mildred and her family treated my dog as one of their own for the few days that he was there and when I picked him up, I felt like I was part of the family as well. I got photos regularly and I knew that everything went perfect. I will 100% book again. I can tell that my dog made new friends so even if I don't need to board him overnight again, I know that I can drop him off to hang out with his new friends. I prefer this option over boarding/daycare at a facility where your pets may not get the same level of attention and care. 10/10 Recommend!”
