About: Any time I’ve ever come across a stray cat in need, I have picked them up and have brought them to the vet and a rescue. My two cats are two sweethearts that I picked up at different times from the side of the road. I have administered medications to them, groomed them (one is quite fluffy!), and they are my constant companions to relax with and play with. Any cat I come across is a friend of mine, and even if they want space, I will respect their space and their needs.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. She was prompt and stuck to her schedule. She made sure our cat had fresh water and food, and cleaned the litter box. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. We are so happy with her services and would recommend her to anyone with any pet!”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals, including reptiles and rodents. There’s no animal that I don’t know how to not take care of all animals are welcome. I work early in the mornings I work 4 AM to 12 afternoon. I’m able to be there for the afternoon afternoons and nights for your animal and up the road if anything happens. I have saved environment for the animal. I do not have fence,but I do have a backyard that I can walk the dog around or cat around. I do have one cat in my roommate has two but they’re all very friendly.

About: Hi! I’m Ella! My passion is anything animals, and it always has been! I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

About: I grew up surrounding myself with animals, since I was seven I spent all of my time at our horse farm and I learned to take care of animals big and small. This grew into my life passion which is animals. I studied animal science at UMASS Amherst and UNLV and also have worked at various animal clinics with different roles as a kennel technician and a veterinarian assistant learning so many skills along the way. Yet my favorite thing I have done so far is taking care of animals while their families enjoy a vacation away! It takes the stress out of going to the kennel, the animals get to show me the ropes and the owners always have daily updates and pictures! I currently work part time at a local restaurant, and my shifts are typically mid afternoon to the evening, but I am flexible upon request!! I am more comfortable coming to a clients home. I own two cats and unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard. But there are parks around my neighborhood that are great for walks.
About: As a kid I was taught responsibility by caring for our horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish and guinea pigs. I’ve had pets all my life! My mom’s cat almost died of a bacterial infection in her mouth and I’ve helped administer antibiotics to her until she got better. I had a cat who had kidney disease and needed to have IV fluids every week. My other cat had to be mouth fed with a syringe as well as monitored via thermometer up his butt. Disclaimer: If your pet experiences an accident during a visit that requires cleaning, there will be an extra charge. (unless this is discussed ahead of time). Services are based upon the time frame given. Any services that add additional time to the booking will cause the booking fee to be increased for that visit at a prorated amount. I have a very open and wide range of availability and I am available most days, including weekends and holidays as I rarely ever go out of town. It would be great to develop some long term relationships with new pets and their owners! Repeats are always great but not expected. I will do what I can to work with your schedule and the needs of you and your fur child. I will do my best to maintain consistency and high-level care when it comes to your pet. Each pet is different and I try to get to know each one individually in order to gain their trust and yours and provide the best care possible. Often times, I will send pictures to the pet owner, especially if it is a new client or a pet owner is out of town for an extended amount of time. I am easily reachable and try to communicate clearly about wants, needs, and scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet prior to providing a service, but it is not mandatory, especially for last minute bookings! In the event that an in person meet and greet isn't possible, a virtual meet and greet is also an option for me to be able to view the pet, where their food is kept, the layout of the house etc.

“Laura and Tyler were great with my dog! He has pretty bad separation anxiety which makes it very difficult to leave him new places. Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She tried different areas to see where he would be most comfortable and really put time and effort into getting him to relax and be comfortable. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”

I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. I’ve also been known to mop, water your plants, retrieve your mail, and take your garbage to the street. On numerous occasions, I’ve taken on jobs in Massachusetts and Vermont as mini vacations! I have a bubbly and friendly personality that animals respond well too! Reasonable rates, flexible hours, and many satisfied customers! I am retired from the county, which allows me to provide full time care to all my fury friends! I travel distances to watch your babies and occasionally welcome your pet to stay at my house. My goal is to watch pups in their own environment. It’s always difficult when Mom and Dad go away, but they are definitely less stressed if they get to stay home. About: I grew up on a farm, which gave me hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including horses, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cows, and various small animals. From a young age, I’ve always had dogs and cats in my home, and animal care has been a constant part of my life. I currently work at a dog training facility, where I am continuing to advance my career as a professional dog trainer. On a daily basis, I work with dogs of many breeds, sizes, temperaments, and unique quirks, and I’m confident handling nearly all dogs. I’m experienced in the proper use of training tools such as prong and starmark collars, slip leads, and ecollars. At home, I share my life with four dogs and five cats, further reinforcing my comfort and confidence in multi-pet environments. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed, and nail trims are available upon request for an additional fee. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. If you choose me, you can rest assured your furry family member will be in capable, caring hands I am currently only available in the evenings after 5pm through the week and all day Fri-Sun.
