Zena was triggered by the fireworks, Sam communicated everyday with me about helping Zena to regulate her emotions, she helped soothe her, provide Zena with the space she needed to calm down. Zena was well cared for, had her own clean room to roam in and a large hard to play in all this helped reduce my anxiety about leaving her. “Ashley and Brian took extra special care of Stella...who has never attended daycare. Their dogs were welcoming and they kept notes on her day and sent me an update on how she was doing within an hour of drop off. We couldn't be happier with how they took care of her and will be leaving her there again soon, as we are preparing Stella for a longer term stay while we vacation in September. We love that Ashley and Brian have a large fenced in back yard. We love that they make Stella feel like part of their family.”
About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! About: I know how hard it can be to find reliable and trustworthy pet care. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work Monday through Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I am fully available all other days and am happy to stay at your house on the days I go to work as well. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. We also have a mostly empty dining room for extra space and we allow all pets on all furniture.

About: Hi! I have taken care of my friend’s dogs for 8 years, while they’re out of town or just at work, from puppies to adults, and it’s a lot of fun! I work full time with a food delivery service, but I’m all over town all day and can be super flexible on when I need to take breaks As far as safety goes, I always walk dogs on a leash, and treat them with the same love and care as if they’re my own. I am happy to follow care instructions for any clients
About: I have always grown up around different types of dogs and cats with different requirements and I work full time in a veterinary hospital, so if they have and medications or medical needs I can assist Im currently working full time at a vet hospital but I have some time off due to summer and I love working with such cute animals I have a fenced in yard where they can run around and stretch there legs and relax at the end of the day with my two cuddling felines
About: Walks every 2-3 hours playtime feedings and bathing if necessary can help with training puppies like potty training or just commands if needed.. will provide the supplies for potty training Pet care fits in well, I don't work and the only time I won't be able to accept a request is if I have a appointment I don't have pets anymore but I used to feed them take on good walks and have play time I live in a gated community so leash will be required unless the owner says it's good with commands
About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats for roughly the last 5 years. I love how sweet and cuddly animals are and I hope you will trust me to watch yours! I currently work full time, so I am available during weekends and after 5pm! I still have plenty of time to play with your animals💗 Though I do not have any animals of my own, whenever I watch someone else’s, I treat them like I would if they were mine 💗 I keep an active eye on them and make sure they aren’t supposed to get into anything they shouldn’t be in.

Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! She has some separation anxiety and scratched a little sore on the top of her head but the communication was excellent and they cleaned her up and took necessary precautions so it didn’t get any worse. Zena was triggered by the fireworks, Sam communicated everyday with me about helping Zena to regulate her emotions, she helped soothe her, provide Zena with the space she needed to calm down. I appreciate the picture and video and feed back on how to help Zena once we pick her up. Zena was well cared for, had her own clean room to roam in and a large hard to play in all this helped reduce my anxiety about leaving her. Over all Sam was knowledge about dog breeds and understands how to work with strong-willed shibas. Definitely recommend.”
