“This was our first time leaving our sweet girl, and we went back and forth on different options. We ultimately decided to try an overnight sitter first, with the plan to move forward if it felt like a good fit—and we’re so glad we did. Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter. Neighbors, friends, and family members have relied on me for years to stay at their homes with their animals, check up on them, and ensure they are being fed and well cared for while they are away. I treat each animal like they are my own and provide the care that they so deserve! I’m currently only working part time this summer so I will have plenty of time to care for your pet throughout the day! Whether it be stopping over for a quick visit or staying over night I have a lot of flexibility and availability in my schedule. About: I have been taking care of animals since childhood and would often pet sit for family members, some of which were entire farms for a week at a time. Neighbors and family members have relied on me for daily care of their dogs and cats with care tasks including feeding, walking and sometimes bathing. I am currently in nursing school and I have a very flexible schedule during the week (except Mondays, Tuesdays) and on weekends. I currently have an almost 5 years old Australian cattle dog (very friendly w/ other dogs) and also live on a hobby farm. You will see my reviews are from Canada, where I lived for 6 years, but moved back home in the last couple of years and wanted to start my account up again :) I have a large property for walks and playtime without having to drive to a trail. About: I grew up with dogs and recently owned 2 rescued dogs. I have land around my home and access to a wooded area with trails for longer walks. I am comfortable with caring for dogs in any facet. I am a teacher and I am looking for summer work. I am free every day until late August. I am willing to walk your dog in your neighborhood or board a dog over night. I have a stake in my yard for when my daughter visits with her 35 lb. Dog. Previous bigger dogs were walked on a leash at all times. I usually walk my dogs 1-2x daily for up to a 1/2 hour.

About: I have previously worked in a kennel, I dog sit for friends and family, and I have a very energetic Irish Setter who loves to be active. I work from home. I am around all day and night to cater to your pet's needs! I will be around to let your pet out any time of day. I usually let my pup out about three times a day and the walks span from 0.5 miles to 2 miles. I've been fortunate to have animals since I was a little girl, from pocket pets, to cats, dogs, goats, horses and even a cow! In a professional capacity, I was a veterinary technician for over 8 years, providing emergency and routine care, for both large and small animals. I have cared for cats, dogs, chickens, cows, horses, and donkeys while owners were away for about the past 10 years. The last 4 years, I have been active in kennel clubs, taking classes and learning about dog training. They all slept in my bed. I have had dogs in every size from big black labs to small chihuahua. I have watched several dogs that have had to have medication. I have taken care of a pup and put 4 drops in each eye 3 times a day.I have taken care of a sweet pup that was blind so I had to clap for it to get its way around. I absolutely love animals and showing them that they matter. I stay at home with my two children that also love animals so my schedule is always open. I am very flexible for your convenience. If I am away from my home it's mainly in the evenings or to take my kids to appts which varies. I have a fenced-in backyard on Travis AFB that looks out to the hills and trains along with several dog parks around me. I also have a big garage where if it rains they can be played within a big open space as in fetch or tug of war!! I love to send so many pictures and videos to the dog mommy and daddy also, so you won't have to worry about how they are doing! I have two children aged 3 & 1 that adore dogs and are great with them. Our little 8 lb Shih Tzu puppy will also be around, she sleeps in a play yard and is very well with other dogs. My husband also lives in the household but is gone during the day. We love to go on walks and runs every day!!! We LOVE the outdoors.

Your fur babies will be well cared for and given lots of love and attention. I do not have a dog or cat of my own currently. However, I have taken care of many cats in a rescue. I have pet sit many times and it is something I enjoy. I dream of fostering dogs and possibly cats in the future, as animals make me happy. Your pet will be in great care and their safety is what matters most before anything else. Your pets needs are my top priority and I will do whatever needs to be done for them to be content. If your dog is a senior or has a disability, I am able to adapt to whatever needs to be modified for their needs.

Whether it was sticking to her feeding and supplement schedules, making sure our dog got plenty of love and attention, extra attention to her needs (it was a change of seasons aka shedding time and they gave her lots of extra care and brushing to keep her comfortable!), it was all so appreciated. “This was our first time leaving our sweet girl, and we went back and forth on different options. We ultimately decided to try an overnight sitter first, with the plan to move forward if it felt like a good fit—and we’re so glad we did. Kai is a rescue, so we’re always a bit concerned about how she’ll do around other dogs. But at Maya’s, Kai becomes a completely different dog! She plays with Maya’s little Milo and seems to love Maya just as much as she loves being with us. During her first stay, Kai was a little nervous, but the second time—when we brought her for a longer stay—it felt like a full-on reunion. She was so excited to see Maya and Milo, and that gave us all the reassurance we needed to truly relax while we were away. Maya went above and beyond by sending us tons of pictures and videos of Kai’s “vacation,” and it genuinely looked like she was having the best time. In fact, we even came home a day early and still let Kai stay the extra day because she was clearly having such a blast! We will absolutely continue to use Maya as our go-to sitter. She loves the furbabies like her own, and Milo is just as sweet and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for a better experience!”

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life and know that they are more then just pets they are family. I will treat them as they such :) I work from home full time mo day threw Friday normally till 430 and can take breaks to let them outside in country for a walk. I live in country suburb and can walk dogs on break with leash. I can let out on my breaks from work or afterwork anytime.
