About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life. In the past 8 years I have lived in CO during that time, I have been through pain and loss. Shortly after moving our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and then our cat with Heart/Kidney disease. About: My whole life I have been into only 1 thing! And that is animals. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at a local horse rescue everyday after school and by the age of 18 I was volunteering at my local SPCA feeding and walking dogs. I went to college at SUNY Cobleskill for 4yrs and graduated with honors and received my bachelors degree in Animal Science. I studied many different training techniques with both horses and small animals, I even learned how to clicker train a chicken! ;) I’ve taken classes in care, management, training, behavior issues and many more. After graduation I became a riding instructor and horse trainer at a near by stable. I now run my own business as an equine dentist which leaves me with tons of extra time as I usually only schedule trips 1-2x a week! I currently have 4 horses, 2 cats, 1 really friendly German Shepherds, small Maltese, a ball python, and a Quaker Parrot named Echo. I have my own business! As an equine dentist I normally can only visit farms when owners are home so that means most weekend days are spent doing that while during the weekdays I’m totally free! Yard behind the house for the dogs, it is fenced off. We own a 3 bedroom so plenty of room for more animals! I am right in town so I can take dogs for walks or to the park. I share my house with my bf and his 10yr old sister who is my foster daughter. Also a huge animal person!
About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. About: I’ve had dogs of my own my entire life and my favorite part of the day is taking care of them. I have taken care of my neighbors dogs growing up all the time and a number of my friends dogs. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. My priority is following your lead when it comes to what's best for your pet's safety, nurturance, and play! Right now, my care schedule is flexible! I'm available for boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours. I work part-time, two days a week as a direct service provider from my home and 1-2 events per week at Cornell. I'm intentionally staying open so I can spend time at home with my dog and am never away for long! I love taking long walks around my quiet, rural neighborhood or spending time exploring the area. I live in a quiet, rural cottage with a screened in porch, backyard and tie out. My cattle dog mix is super playful and loves other dogs! Happy to also provide care in your home, especially for cats and other animals.

“This is our second time booking with Ashley. This time we had a second puppy. She is so great with communication and pictures. Ashley and her family truly seem to enjoy caring for dogs and it’s a great feeling to know that they are so well cared for while we are gone. The outdoor fenced in yard is a huge plus and the dogs get tons of play time. Her dogs are sweet and playful and our pups came home worn out from all the fun they had. She’s great with setting routines and somehow got our 4 month old puppy that was not quite housebroken through 4 days with zero accidents. Definitely recommend.”

“Kathy and Tim are awesome! They truly love dogs! They are great communicators! This was our first time leaving our beloved dog. We were very anxious but Kathy and Tim put us at ease right away by sending photos and describing her activities. They treated her like a special guest. She loved sleeping on their couch and exploring their large back yard. Our dog can be stubborn, but they really paid attention to her needs and figured out how to get her outside on a hot day. We highly recommend them.”
“I wish there were an option to leave more than five stars, because Georgia and her dog Wilma went so above and beyond. I had to find a last minute sitter over the holiday weekend, which, without Georgia's responsiveness and flexibility, would have been next to impossible. When I dropped my dog off, I could tell immediately that she was going to have an amazing time. Georgia sent lots of updates while I was away, which was much appreciated. Normally when I pick up my dog after a couple of days away, she's overjoyed to go back home, but this time, she actually seemed bummed to be leaving her new bff Wilma!”
