About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

Friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed & housesit for their animals. I work full time time job but I have most mornings free. My schedule rotates so I would not be able to have the same availability every week, but please reach out with dates & times! I would love to make something work. Hope was very welcoming and let me know how Blaze was doing the morning after I had dropped him off (he chose to sleep in her grandson’s room). I would definitely board Blaze with Hope again, should the occasion arise.”

“Deirdre was AMAZING with my puppy Sookie. She goes above and beyond with all her care and you can tell she really loves taking care of dogs and treats yours like her own. My dog Sookie had some stomach issues and Deirdre cooked her rice and other things that fixed it. When she noticed that Sookie was itching, she gave her anti-itching baths, Omega 3 oil and a spray that fixed that too! She sent so many videos and pics that showed how Sookie had the best time during her stay and I will totally have my dogs stay with Deirdre again!”

Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She tried different areas to see where he would be most comfortable and really put time and effort into getting him to relax and be comfortable. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. About: I love all animals!!! I really enjoy coming to your house and playing with your precious babies. I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, turtles, and yes even snakes. I’ve even experienced breeding and nurturing 11 golden retrievers (3 adults and 8 puppies) at one time. I will come to your house to LOVE, feed, water, play, brush, walk, talk to, and even car rides with your beautiful pets. I’ve also been known to mop, water your plants, retrieve your mail, and take your garbage to the street. On numerous occasions, I’ve taken on jobs in Massachusetts and Vermont as mini vacations! I have a bubbly and friendly personality that animals respond well too! Reasonable rates, flexible hours, and many satisfied customers! I am retired from the county, which allows me to provide full time care to all my fury friends! I travel distances to watch your babies and occasionally welcome your pet to stay at my house. My goal is to watch pups in their own environment. It’s always difficult when Mom and Dad go away, but they are definitely less stressed if they get to stay home. About: I grew up on a farm, which gave me hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including horses, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cows, and various small animals. From a young age, I’ve always had dogs and cats in my home, and animal care has been a constant part of my life. I currently work at a dog training facility, where I am continuing to advance my career as a professional dog trainer. On a daily basis, I work with dogs of many breeds, sizes, temperaments, and unique quirks, and I’m confident handling nearly all dogs. I’m experienced in the proper use of training tools such as prong and starmark collars, slip leads, and ecollars. At home, I share my life with four dogs and five cats, further reinforcing my comfort and confidence in multi-pet environments. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed, and nail trims are available upon request for an additional fee. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities.
