“John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. About: Since I was little, my family has always had at least some kind of animal in the house. 7 years ago when I got my first cat of my own, Daisy. She is my best friend, and our bond is like no other. It seems like I'm the only one in the house she can tolerate, as she has a pretty spiky personality. 3 years ago in the fall, I got my second cat, Simba. In these 7 years of owning and caring for my fur babies, I have cat and dog sat on and off more times than I can count. I usually do sitting and care outside of my home, because my cats can be dramatic and aren't very open to other animals stealing their spotlight. I'm currently working part time and work early shifts so I have plenty of open availability to help with your cats and dogs. I available for boarding on weekdays after 2pm and weekends any time. I am strongly built and am able to pick up, crate, control, and walk dogs up to about 150lbs. About: Hello all! My name is Carly. I am from Connecticut originally and have been living in the Capital district for about two years now. When I was back in home state, I had been sitting for about 8 years on and off and grew up taking care of all types. I used to have my own business called CA Pet Services doing pet sitting during my free time. I have taken care of all types of animals, large and small. I love meeting new furry friends and enjoy spending time getting to know them and giving them all the affection they deserve. I currently am working my full time job 4 days a week, my availability on my days off which are Mondays and Tuesdays is very flexible for dog walking and drop ins. I do not care for pets in my own home because I do have my own dog that is selective with others as he is in his senior age. If or when I do go to a clients, I respect all of the clients wishes and requests for their pet. The animal will be taken care of with thee upmost best care, as it is very hard to find reliable caretakers for our fur children.

About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!

When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. I currently work part time but I’m available usually after 9am throughout the week. I do work weekends usually but I can be flexible with stopping in the morning and evenings times for your fur babies. I am temporarily in a transition moving right now, for the Army National Guard. “John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. We would 10/10 use John again and we hope this review helps others feel at ease with his services!! :)”
