“Alex is the BEST! We had a sitter back out last minute and luckily we found Alex. First off, the space Alex has made is a great for any furry companion to run, play, or just sniff around. Our 11 yr old dog is a big anxious girl who gets vertigo very easily. Alex made her feel right at home, put her at ease, and was able to catch her signs of a dizzy episode and medicated her exactly how we would have at home. Alex is a great host and will gladly send lots of pictures and updates that put any worries one might have aside. After we brought our old gal home she slept the day away from all the exploring and fun she had at Alex’s.”

“Leaving Frances and Dexter for more than a night — especially while traveling internationally for a full week — was something I was incredibly anxious about. Mary exceeded every expectation I had and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. This was Dexter’s first extended stay away from me, and within the first few days he developed some stress-related GI issues from the transition. Mary handled everything with incredible patience, compassion, and attentiveness. She prepared special food, administered medication once it was dropped off, and treated him with such genuine tenderness and understanding. I could tell she truly cared about his emotional well-being. What stood out immediately was how quickly she understood both dogs’ completely different personalities. Frances is fearless, social, and playful, while Dexter is much more sensitive and cautious — and Mary connected with both of them so naturally. It was obvious they genuinely enjoyed their time with her and the other dogs. Her communication throughout the stay was exceptional. She sent frequent updates, photos, and videos every day, and seeing Frances and Dexter relaxed, playing, cuddling, and becoming more confident gave me so much reassurance while I was overseas. Most importantly, Mary helped build Dexter’s confidence during a stressful transition. Anyone who has experience with rescue dogs understands how important patience, calm energy, and emotional sensitivity are, and Mary absolutely has that gift. When I picked them up, they were excited to see me — but it was also obvious they had formed a real bond with Mary and their new friends. Honestly, that told me everything I needed to know. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Frances and Dexter were loved, safe, understood, and beautifully cared for from start to finish.”

About: I’ve cared for many types of dogs, cats, horses, cows and more for most of my life! Past and current employers, neighbors, friends and family have entrusted me with all of their animals! I currently have a full time job, however I am usually done by 3 pm and have 2-3 hours in between going back for night check. And I have time before 8 am depending on how close you are for early morning pet care! I currently have two dogs at my home who go out on a lead due to neighbors have free range chickens, but I have plenty of land to take your furbaby to play fetch or run around on!

About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: I am a veterinary technician who just loves all animals and spending time with them all day. I am trained in pet cpr. I love to take hikes, take the dogs swimming, plenty of walking, and have a very active lifestyle, so the pups will have plenty of playtime. I have owned many different breeds growing up including wolf dogs, so I have plenty of experience with all breeds. I have plenty of experience with my feline friends too so if you need someone to watch your adorable kitty I would be delighted. Let me help make your fur babies happy! About: I’ve worked with dogs as I have 3 dogs of my own. I enjoy making the pets happy and caring for them ! I’ve cared for puppies as well, my dog has had puppies so yes I have worked with 9 puppies at a time lol. Part time would be the best. I am a college student but fully online so I pretty much have an open schedule on any day I’m available! I enjoy playing with dogs and making them happy. As for taking them outside, feeding them, walking them, playing with them. It all works for me!
About: While I'm more experienced with cats in my home, I have always been the go-to pet sitter for all friends and family. I appreciate that they get just as excited to go for a w-a-l-k as I do. It helps that my schedule is extremely flexible since I'm a bartender who works odd hours. I can do early mornings, late nights, and a mix of anything you need in between. I'm a bartender, so I am available early mornings, late nights, and a good mix of anything in between. The bar I work at is also closed on Sundays and Mondays, so scheduling on those days is completely flexible. My cats are fairly active, so we spend quite a bit of time playing fetch or hide and seek (cats are so odd). I also take them on bike rides with my bike trailer attachment. I'm also equipped to handle medication needs. I don't crate my cats when I'm not home, so that would have to be provided by the client if there is a requirement for one.

Our 11 yr old dog is a big anxious girl who gets vertigo very easily. Alex made her feel right at home, put her at ease, and was able to catch her signs of a dizzy episode and medicated her exactly how we would have at home. Alex is a great host and will gladly send lots of pictures and updates that put any worries one might have aside. After we brought our old gal home she slept the day away from all the exploring and fun she had at Alex’s.”
