Charlie (the cat) has been anxious to be left alone for long periods of time since her sister passed last year, so I really needed someone to spend time with her and give her the attention we normally would. Tiffany did exactly that and then some! She sent lots of updates and pictures, and I knew that Charlie was being doted on so I could fully relax while away. We like to play in the back yard every 1-3hrs and we take breaks frequently so there would be some indoor and outdoor exposure for daily play (weather pending). My yard is fully enclosed so I like to bring my dog out with me to play, sniff, lounge and anything else. I have an outside pool that is for dogs so they can get water, play in it or lay down to cool off whenever they’d like. I have a fenced yard and a friendly fur baby to play with. I also have 2 crates available as needed if it’s a preference of yours. In your home, I can follow any instructions left to make sure your fur-baby feels as comfortable as possible at home in their space without you there.

My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. I currently have five pets of my own: three cats and two dogs, and they truly mean everything to me. Because of them, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. During my junior and senior years of high school, I attended Harkness BOCES for Animal Science, where I gained hands-on experience in grooming, safe handling and restraint, CPR, medication administration, and understanding animal behavior, along with many other essential skills. I’m currently continuing my education in animal health and behavior to build a career dedicated to caring for animals and being their voice. I’m comfortable administering medications as needed and have experience working with pets of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Whether your pet needs extra patience, playtime, or specialized care, I’m here to provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment. I'm currently a full-time student so my schedule is very flexible and I'm more than willing to easily fit pet care into my weekly routine. I take the safety and boundaries of the pets and clients very seriously. I will follow any safety procedures the owner may have for me.
