About: I am a huge animal lover! I was a camp counselor at a daycare/boarding facility where dogs interacted and played together all day. I supervised up to 30+ dogs daily, and I have had hands-on experience with little and big dogs. I fed, cleaned, bathed, and administered medications that don't involve needles. I also have a lot of hands-on experience with cats and fish. I'm a huge animal lover, and I love children as well. I am not able to watch pets in my home, because of the pets I already have. However, I would be 100% willing to stay in your home to care for your beloved family member, or make visits. :)! I'm currently working as a 7th-grade English teacher in the Rockland County area from 9:00-3:40. I'm lucky enough to have awesome work hours that allow me to take care of pets as needed! Currently I can't watch other animals in my home because I have two cats of my own and a new puppy! All 3 of my animals are spoiled rotten! They have so many toys, tons of playtime, and the best of the best quality food and treats! I love my animals like my children, I even had a puppy shower for my new puppy! About: I grew up in a dog‑loving home and had the privilege of caring for several breeds over the years — first a Boxer, then a Siberian Husky, later a German Shepherd/Malamute mix, and eventually a Pomeranian. I’ve come to learn the different breads and have acquired some basic training for dogs like teaching them to sit, paw, roll over etc. I love to play fetch with dogs too. I have a pool which is open in the summer if your dog loves to play in the pool to get out of the hot sun. I am a full time teacher. I’m home at 3 pm everyday. If I stay in your home, I treat your home as if it was my own. Just like your pet, I provide the same level of care for your home without judgment. You come home to it being clean, neat and tidy. I wash the sheets, take out the garbage and recycling, sweep/vacuum and wipe down all surfaces that I used. I also bring in packages, water indoor plants, move garbage and recycling bins to the road and small and/or minor request are usually accepted. In the spring and summer months, I will water outdoor plants, but inquire about additional cost.

Whether I’m on vacation or just out running errands, I can’t resist stopping to say hello to every dog I see. I’m also the kind of person who goes to a party and ends up spending most of my time playing with the dogs instead of socializing! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My childhood dog recently passed away after 16 wonderful years, and during her senior years I gave her daily medication, made sure our walks were comfortable with plenty of breaks, and, most importantly, gave her all the love and care she deserved. I also have a senior Chihuahua-Poodle mix who needs daily medication and occasional help getting onto the couch or bed, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and understanding their unique needs. I also have a younger dog that I raised and helped potty train, and I’ve taught her several fun tricks, giving me experience with puppies and basic training as well. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their personality, energy level, and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and every owner feel confident knowing their furry family member is in caring hands. Pet care has always been part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so every day includes feeding them, taking them on walks, giving one of my senior dogs his daily medication, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. We were watching the weather in case we needed to abandon our plans and come back home mid trip. Randi was extremely flexible and accommodating and I am so grateful for that. Our dog is a picky eater and is also on some tricky meds…and Randi kept in touch with regular updates. She persevered with attempts to get her to eat both food and meds, until our dog did finally start to eat! Our dog came home happy and healthy! We will definitely board with Randi again!”
