About: I have been cat sitting (both overnight and drop-in visits) for the last few years. I am comfortable with cats who want to be around me 24/7, cats that want me to be as far away as possible, and everything in-between! Recently I have been doing a lot of overnight stays to watch an elderly cat because she gets sick when she gets lonely, and I love my time with her. At my current job I have gained incredibly valuable experience caring for elderly cats who need to receive a litany of medication. I feel comfortable giving cats liquid medications and tablets/capsules orally if the patient will not take it inside of food. I understand that as loving and sweet as our pets are, no one likes taking a bitter medication and I never hold it against them if they're not thrilled about it. I am competent in the towel wrap method too.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once.
