I can tell that Emily has extensive experience with pets and a special love for them. Rihanna required both liquid and pill medicines that Emily took care to give her 2x a day. About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.

About: I love caring for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors. I especially love playing with more rambunctious cats. I've lived in several situations with two or more cats in which they had to be slowly introduced or their interactions managed, and I'm confident in reading cats' body language. I think it is so important to be patient with cats and pay attention to their individual wants and needs. My own cat is very calm but cautious with other animals.

About: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. I have been steadily watching my sister’s beautiful dog Albert and her new puppy Janice for 3 years. Those days are the best days - i walk them, feed them their meals and required medicine, and always make sure they have loads of attention and pets! I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible, so I can cater to your individualized needs! I travel sometimes on weekends, but with enough notice, I will lock your dog sitting needs into my schedule and always show up in a timely fashion! I always keep an eye on the pets I am watching when out in the yard, even if the space is enclosed - I watch for other animals, etc to always ensure your pet’s safety. I have gone on many a walk with medium to large dogs and always make sure their leash is within 6-8 feet and they are secure within their harness.

Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. About: Hello! My partner and I have dog-sat for friends many times, but the request doesn’t come frequently enough! We’re happy to host your pet and treat it as if it were our own. We work nearby our apartment and can walk your dog during the day. We are fine with pets on our furniture and in our bed, but will respect any training you have in place. We’ll joyfully take your pet on long walks and adhere to feeding schedules. I have trained my family dogs in the past, and are happy to teach your pup a few new tricks! We ask for well-behaved, house-trained dogs OR crate-trained provided you have a crate. About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

She’s very knowledgeable and took such great care of our dogs, including giving thyroid medication to our Husky. She sent us regular updates and photos, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Her home is clean, well-equipped, and safe for dogs. The fenced backyard is beautiful, and our dogs had so much fun playing there with her own dogs — they got along so well! “Jeff graciously accepted my desperate last minute request after another Rover sitter left me high and dry and agreed to take care of my dog for a full month with no prior introduction. I have a 4yo GSP with a lot of anxiety, especially when he’s separated from his mama. But my boy Max bonded with him immediately and seemed totally at ease in his new home. Jeff put up with my Velcro dog clinging to him and demanding attention all day long with no complaints. This was only the third time with a sitter and second boarding my Whiskey dog overnight; but never have I felt as content as when he was with Judy, her wonderful family & beautiful home.
