At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, I have owned and cared for multiple breeds of dogs and cats, big and small, and been a pet sitter for friends and family on and off for the last 10 years. As a result of my experience as a pet parent and sitter I am very comfortable with most breeds. I also have limited experience training full grown dogs as well as puppies. I am available for walks, check-ins, or pet sitting every day. I am also available for boarding on a case by case basis. My work schedule allows me to be present for most of the day, so I can remain attentive and take plenty of walk and play breaks. During the times that I am gone I am able to crate them if that is your preference or they can have free access to the main part of the house and I will check in on them regularly through the doggie cams. I am able to dog sit in your home as well as in my own home, which has a large amount of indoor space that they can roam around in, as well as a partially fenced back yard that they can play in on a long leash with my supervision. I have plenty of time for walks and play breaks during the day. And during the few hours a day that I am out of the house, they can be crated, or they can roam around the main part of the house. I check in on them every half hour through the doggy cams set up in the house. I am comfortable walking, feeding, and if necessary, providing medication on the schedule and in the manner that you prefer.

About: I've loved them all. From guinea pigs to rabbits, hamsters and ferrets, parrots and fish, cats and dogs. I have experience with dogs of many breeds, from German shepherds to Chihuahuas, newfoundlands and jack russells. I try and understand every dog breed to understand their unique needs. No dog is the same! But they all love unconditionally, so I try and give them the same. I have some training in puppies and have experience with puppies as well as elders. I've house sat in the pets homes where I know they are comfortable and can have their routines and environments. I just want to give each pet whatever it is they need. I have had pets since I was born, my first dog being a boxer. Almost never without a dog, but certainly never without a pet. Currently I have a german shepherd/collie mix named Blue. Even at six years old, he has the energy of a puppy! We run every day in a field nearby, sometimes visit the dog park, and have frequent visits with his dog friends. Making sure he is happy and healthy is a daily priority in my life. In the clients home, I get in depth information on their pets routines, food schedules and preparations, walking and play time, and whether they are crated or not. I will follow your instructions to a T.
About: Aside from growing up caring for animals, I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about a year. During my time there I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to read their body language. Now, I am currently studying canine training and management at SUNY Cobleskill where I work with a variety of canine’s daily. So I am currently on summer break from school, so I can assure you I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I start my day off by making sure my babies are fed and have fresh water, followed by going out for a walk and playing outside for a little! I have a dog and a cat who is very shy. If needed I have a crate that can be used.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I was 8. My passion for dogs will never stop growing. I have worked with dogs for 4 plus years now, from training, grooming and all around care. About: Our property is a lush 5 acres. We have a fenced-in dog run, but we have lots of land for walks. We have two beautiful labradors: Abilene and Odessa (8 years old). They like having friends over to socialize and play. You can rest assured that we will treat your dog like one of our family. We love dogs, so care is easy! Our home is well suited for dog naps, daily walks, and midnight howls. My wife and I, as well as our two Labradors will give your dog a family to stay with while you are gone. Our home and property are large enough to support the individual needs of each dog. Two levels in our home and a large property allow us to facilitate special requests and routines.
“Angel was just terrific with our dog, Sasha, who can be rather anxious. Sasha came down with a stomach thing two days before we were going away. I offered a couple of options to Angel because I was worried that Sasha would get up in the middle of the night and need to go out (and might not ask!). Angel wasn't phased and said no problem. In the end that didn't happen, but Angel was willing to get up if needed. Sasha seemed very happy. Since their backyard isn't fenced in, Angel put up a great enclosure so Sasha could play and hang out safely outside. We look forward to her next visit with Angel!”
“Kate has a very warm demeanor and my first impression when I brought our dog Astrid over to her house for a meet and greet before boarding, was that she would care for our dog as if she were her own. Astrid is usually quite anxious when she’s first introduced to a new person and a new environment, but she appeared to be more at ease much quicker with Kate at her house than she typically is. Kate sent us regular pictures and updates, was very flexible about our schedule for pickup and drop-off, prompt and easy to communicate with, and we didn’t worry about Astrid at all. We will certainly reach out to Kate again when planning future boarding accommodations for our sweet Astrid.”
