“Kevinh was a phenomenal dog sitter. He was available last minute to watch our small dog. He took Kona on several long walks, send many pictures and regular updates. Great communication. Kona was extremely comfy and cared for ! I would 100% recommend Kevinh!”

“Our dog was very happy with Jennifer. We are so happy to have found her. She's kind and gentle and she worked with us when we had unknowns about our needs because of a funeral we had to travel for. We were trying to book without full details of when and where we had to be. We feel very fortunate she was willing to be flexible. Our pup was happy that he was the only one she had with her during his stay. He got all of her love and attention. Thank you, Jennifer.”

“Peter was such a wonderful sitter. His updates were timely and detailed and I felt confident that Nutmeg was cared for, happy, and healthy during her stay. I will definitely ask Peter to sit again if I’m ever in the area again.”

“It is always so comforting to know that Bailey is in good hands when we go visit our family. She keeps us informed and sends pictures. This is the fourth time we have used Brigid and Bailey seems to feel just as comfortable there as he does at home. Thank you Bridgit!”

“Brooke and her family were kind and loving to Millie! She hasn’t been with anyone but us and she isn’t a very easygoing pup so we were so relieved when Millie was so relaxed and happy in Brooke’s home. Brooke kept us updated and sent many adorable photos! I would absolutely book with Brooke again and will recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur children.”

“Sunny always has a great time with Christopher and his wife. They treat him so well and they are both so accommodating if we need to change the time for drop-off/pickup. We couldn’t be more appreciative of them!”

“Jialin and John watched my new senior rescue Bianca for a long weekend and were so good to her! I was a little nervous since I had her less than a month and was still figuring out her unique behaviors and preferences but she was in great hands. We did a meet and greet beforehand and Boo-boo was a great host, sharing his home and parents. Jialin even taught Bianca a new trick that we have been working on back home. Bianca was sent home with a plastic baggie of some treats she liked to keep the good times going back home. I look forward to the next time Bianca can stay with them!”

“10/10 recommend Vera! She went above and beyond making sure us and our pup were well cared for. She sent us regular updates, videos, and pictures. She gave Pierce a lavender calming collar to put him at ease on the first night. She even noticed that the mat underneath our dog bowls was frayed and coming undone and sewed it up for us. I was blown away by her kindness and palpable love of animals. Don’t hesitate to book Vera. You won’t regret it.”

“Kierra took great care of Cooper, he was very happy him and Atlie. He definitely made a new pup buddy. Kierra took Cooper for daily walks which he loves to go for walks. I would definitely use Kierra to watch Cooper again on the future.”

“Daniel was so great at communicating with us while we were away for 9 days. We received multiple photos each day with nice little updates on how Maisie was doing. We never had to wonder or feel the need to reach out because Daniel was all over it! Thank you!”

“Saskia was absolutely fantastic! She took such wonderful care of our two energetic dogs and our energetic cat, and we couldn't have been happier. She truly went above and beyond, staying in constant communication with us the whole time we were away and sending photos and updates that really put our minds at ease. She put an incredible amount of heart into caring for our pets—she easily gave one hundred and fifty to two hundred percent—and her response time was incredibly fast.”

“Sheronda was great! Communicated often with us, sent us lots of great photos of our dog, and did a great job socializing him with the other dogs (making him comfortable). She has a great back yard (fenced in), with lots of great areas to walk dogs. Overall we are super pleased, will be booking with them again!”

“I had a last min trip coming up and had to find a sitter who offers boarding. To me, the location and also the house setting where my dog will be staying were very important. I found Catherine who lives 2 miles away from me. Met her and the entire family the next day for meet and greet and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Catherine was kind, reliable, and super attentive. She sent regular updates and cute photos, which made me feel totally at ease while I was away. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. I’ll definitely be booking with Catherine again! Thank you.”

“This is Tyson's second time staying with Amanda. She is really good with him. She has a fenced in yard and often has multiple dogs to keep company with including her husky. Her dad even came by to see Tyson. When traveling it's such a blessing to have good people to watch your pet so you don't have to worry. I feel like he's having a sleepover at a friend's house. Thank you Amanda!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Cashe's dog bordering services! Professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to my pet's needs. Cashe was highly responsive to my texts, making the whole experience seamless. My Opal seemed happy and I couldn't have been more at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. Highly recommended!”

“My 8 year old, Curly Coated Retriever, had never been boarded before. Kyle made me so comfortable at our initial meet & greet that it reduced my trepidation of being away from my girl for the first time & I knew she was in good hands. Kyle’s daily pictures & comments made being away from my girl so much easier. It was very clear seeing how much Kyle loved dogs and she was such a good caregiver to my girl. I would strongly recommend Kyle’s service to anybody who wants to ensure their dog is in the hands of someone who truly cares about her furry friends.”

“Katie is so awesome! She went above and beyond to befriend our grumpy old man of a cat, was very thorough at every drop-in, and just a lovely person all around. Highly recommend booking with her!”

“Sophia did a great job caring for our two cats for a week while we were on vacation! She was great at sending updates, including pictures and videos, and made my shy kitties comfortable. I highly recommend Sophia!”

“Trista was wonderful! She sent great pictures of all the pets. They all look so happy and well cared for. Great communication and followed all instructions. You can tell she really cares for your pets. We would highly recommend! 😊”

“Was great with our 2 cats. Feed, them both, and gave medicine to our Lucky. Spent time petting and playing with them. Arrived on time, and sent pictures of our precious babies. We will hire again. The cats each gave her 2 paws up. :)”

“Stephanie was amazing. We met her once and knew she was the right choice. She was easily able to handle providing medication and special nutritional needs for our two older girls, as well as, keeping our younger guy busy with plenty of playtime. Steph sent plenty of pictures each day along with a detailed recap of each visit. When we were delayed 2 days getting home from our trip she was happy to extend our agreement to help us out of the jam. I would recommend to anyone needing care for their animals… as long as we don’t need her first!”

“Glenn and Diana were the best sitters ever! We have a very hyper, young lab who does not like to be left alone. We have never used a professional pet sitting service before and Glenn and Diana provided us with not only did they provide excellent pet care, but they were extremely flexible with several last minute schedule changes. They also helped us navigate the Rover app to help correct errors on our part as well as giving our dog some short training sessions with sit, down, and stay while they were spending time with her. Glenn and Diana played a lot of fetch with the dog and gave our cat tons of attention too. Great sitters who really put us at ease! We highly recommend them and Rover!”

“Dakota is a lovely and attentive caregiver. My older lady cat needs a daily visit and Dakota was thoughtful and great in her communication. Odie was much more happy and relaxed when I returned. Will definitely work with Dakota again!”

“Beth was awesome! She was very proactive in asking questions and communicating. Our dogs warmed up to her quickly. She was thoughtful about following instructions, being on time, and really put my mind at ease. We will definitely connect with Beth again when we need care for our pups!”

About: I absolutely love cats. My family has 7. I have been a cat lover since I was 8 years old. I work in a vet clinic and am comfortable distributing meds, cleaning litter boxes, feeding , watering, clipping nails , etc. I love any cat like its my own.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I’ve been passionate about since childhood. I’ve always had pets of my own and have rescued many animals over the years. To me, pets are family, not just animals. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their home. I’ll follow and reinforce your training and household rules, while also making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I tailor their care to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work full-time. But not too far from my job. So I can always come home to let pets out if need be. I will be available to give them all the attention in the afternoon and on the weekends with the help of my kids who just adore any animal. I have a fenced in yard with one dog and one cat to keep your pet company. I can also crate your pet if needed.
“Jenna & Aidan must have done an excellent job taking care of my cat as she didn't yell at me for hours upon my return home!! She was as happy as could be. J&A were very responsive, and timely. I appreciated their willingness to meet up a head of time to see the lay of the land. I would use them again in a heart beat.”

“We had such a great experience with Yenifer! Our dog, Rocky, absolutely enjoyed his stay—he came home happy and relaxed. Yenifer was incredibly kind and responsive, and even accommodated us on very short notice, which we really appreciated.”

About: I absolutely love animals. I have been helping friends and neighbors with watching their pets for years. I currently have two dogs myself, one with complicated medical needs. I am confident I would be able to care for your pets no matter their age. I currently work from home 2-3 days per week and am available most weekends. Our two Poms love to play and cuddle with us on the couch. Your pets would be welcome to join us on the couch. I have a fenced in backyard. I live in a dead-end street near the rail trail so walks are a breeze and do not have me near any main roads. I do have two Pomeranians to keep your pets company while with us. Both of my dogs are fixed and friendly.
“Kenia is kind, flexible and communicative. The second day I brought my anxious rescue poodle to her, she sprinted up the steps and could NOT wait to get inside! Her warmth is unmatched and she brought me great comfort knowing my pup was in a safe, loving environment while I tended to family needs. Will definitely use Kenia again if I’m in the area, and highly recommend anyone in need use her too!!”

“Davis was a wonderful sitter for our pup, Beau. We left Beau with Davis, her partner, and her pups for a few hours while we went to a museum and Beau seemed perfectly content when we picked him up. Thanks, Davis!”

“This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. I will be booking with Lori and Rees again. Practice makes perfect!”

“Jialin and John took great care of our Noodle while we attended a friend’s wedding in the area. We are not NY locals and the decision to bring our dog on the trip with us was somewhat last minute, so we were so lucky and grateful to find people to care for Noodle for a full day on such short notice. We received many photos and videos throughout the day which reassured us that Noodle was having fun and in great hands! If we lived in the area we would 100% book them again, and we’re honestly bummed that they can’t be our regular dog sitters due to distance. We are very satisfied with the care they provided and we highly recommend them!!”

About: I'll provide constant supervision of your pet. I enjoy interacting with animals. Although I am not a professional dog handler I have had a dog in the house for the past 12 years. I will do my best to provide competent care for your pet. I am currently retired from the Columbia County jail, after completing 23 years. I am a Navy veteran. My wife and I have twin boys who are all grown up and out of the house. As a result of this I have become a little bored. I would appreciate your consideration when deciding on who to entrust the care of your pet while you are away. You will be able to be rest assured that they are being taken care of. I am usually available all the time except for the occasional vacation I might go on. Weekends are no problem either. I am pretty much available year round. I like to hang out with my dog all day. Adding more animals to the mix is no problem. I like taking walks with them and I also have a fenced yard.
“Christopher and Chelsea were awesome!! They were very responsive and my pup had great time! My pup can be very timid when meeting new people but came around really quickly! I could tell she was well cared for and would definitely bring my pup back!!”

Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). About: Animals kept me safe my entire life, now I return the favor by keeping your babies safe while you’re away. ❤️ I have been working with animals my whole life. At only 3 I moved in with my step father onto a small farm(yes this means I can feed your chickens, gather your eggs, clean your stalls, and feed your cattle, pigs, or even horses). I spent three years working in the veterinary field where I learned to better understand and triage animal emergency and how to deal with them calmly and safely. I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats of my own as well as a bearded dragon and a few chickens, whom I love more than life. I have minimal boarding experience, but have had or worked with everything from fish and birds, to dogs to cattle, from snakes to horses, and I love each one of these creatures just as much as the rest. I adore all animals, and cherish my pets so much, and finding some one you can trust to REALLY care for them can be a challenge, so let me make your life a little easier with flexible, reliable, patient and gentle care. As a pet mom to 11 furry, scaly, and feathered babies, I know how hard it can be to find reliable pet care. My animals are my children, my babies; the most important things in my world. I promise to love yours the way I’d love my own. I am currently unemployed and taking a leap. What I’d LOVE is to start my own pet care company. I know how hard it is to find pet care in and around the Berkshires, especially the holidays when all the day cares and well known sitters are booked - so let me take some of that weight off you. I’m flexible and reliable and can do drops ins, walks, day stays, over nights, or multiple day stays. I’m open to any animal type, including pocket pets, exotics and special needs. What can I say? Pets are really the only thing most of us like in this crazy world; so it’s kind of the perfect job. 😉 I am open to all types of care, all types of animals, and all types of situations. I have experience in vet medicine and have had elderly and special needs animals my whole life. No matter how long my interaction with your baby is, I assure you it will be filled with love.

“Tetiana is an amazing petsitter! She is communicative, attentive to details and, most importantly, has a loving and giving heart. She and her lovely mom Maria treated my Edna like their own, with play and cuddles and outdoor adventures — many pictures clearly showing to me Edna’s enjoyment. I hope Edna can return to Tetiana’s and I highly recommend her.”

“Kim is my go to! I love that she updates me daily when she’s caring for my two fur babies. She communicates effectively and is flexible with arrangements. Thank you Kim 💜”

“Excellent! This was my first experience with Lori and Rover.com and it will not be my last. Lori was so accommodating to my requests. I am very pleased and happy with my pups stay at her home.”

“Kathleen was an excellent overnight sitter for our dog! She gave frequent updates with photos and made sure the pup was well fed, well exercised, and well taken care of. This was our first experience with Rover and we are very likely to use the service again (and Kathleen if we are back in the area).”

“Taylor did a great job watching Zeus! She was able to do a meet and greet beforehand, which made everything really easy. Her dog Spunky is also great and got along really well with Zeus. Everything went smoothly, and I would definitely recommend Taylor and book with her again!”

“Samantha and her family are amazing. Honestly. My first time boarding my 3 month old puppy and they made it so easy. Communication and kindness!! Such genuine people. Thank you for everything!!”
