She clearly loves dogs and is proficient and skilled in all aspects of their care We had total peace of mind while we were away and she sent us some beautiful pictures of Buddy!”

“Loretta and Csaba took great care of Rafi and kept us updated with pictures regularly. Rafi was very well cared for and it’s obvious they love what they do!”

“My dog had a great time with Jennifer, Thomas and their kids. They’ shared photos of her getting petted on the couch and going on walks. She was exhausted when she came home after having had a very fun day with this lovely family.”

“Christine has been a great “second home” for Tyr. He goes barreling in the door as soon as he sees her. It is wonderful to know he is so happy to be dropped off there and we know he is well taken care of. We would highly recommend Christine.”

“Janice is the absolute best! 💕🐾 She loves my puppy and it makes such a difference to know she’s not just safe and cared for but happy. It’s such a relief. She goes above and beyond recommending a slow eating bowl and all natural tick repellent. Her home is full of love and she’s one of the kindest and most loving people I know. I couldn’t recommend her more!!”

“Donna is absolutely great, very nice, accommodating and very punctual. She sent many pictures with our dog, who seemed very happy and well taken care of. We are very pleased to have met her and shall definitely contact her again for future bookings. Thank you, Donna!”

“Gabe and Annie were fantastic and very communicative, they sent me daily photos. When I was away on a stressful work trip, I never had to worry about my Daisy Lou being cared for and loved. She came home a happy camper!”

“My pup had a great time, and Jeff was very communicative sending lots of photos. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with him and wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Mildred and her family treated my dog as one of their own for the few days that he was there and when I picked him up, I felt like I was part of the family as well. I got photos regularly and I knew that everything went perfect. I will 100% book again. I can tell that my dog made new friends so even if I don't need to board him overnight again, I know that I can drop him off to hang out with his new friends. I prefer this option over boarding/daycare at a facility where your pets may not get the same level of attention and care. 10/10 Recommend!”

“Our little guy, Wrigley, had an absolutely wonderful stay with Judy and Steven! I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming environment for their pup. As a beagle, Wrigley usually hates being left behind—but I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. He got the royal treatment with pup cups, plenty of love and attention, and he even made a new friend in their sweet dog, Ginger. Thank you, Judy and Steven, for making Wrigley feel so at home and for giving me such peace of mind!”

“Kayla has been the absolute best cat sitter I could’ve asked for!! My cat is generally very shy with new people but with Kayla’s warmth and friendliness she opened up right away and loved playing with her :) Kayla is super responsive and absolutely would book with her again!”

About: I had an older cat when I was younger that just wanted to be left alone and now have adopted 2 kittens that constantly want to be pet. I think the vast difference between their personalities has prepared me to take care of others.
“Janice is fantastic. I was in desperate need of a cat sitter for an emergency trip just days away. Janice responded right away and arranged a meet and greet for the next day. She connected with my cat (who is usually a little shy of strangers) right away, and I immediately relaxed knowing he and my home would be in good hands. Janice was very communicative and took care of everything. I came home to a happy boy who had clearly had fun playing while we were away, and I am so grateful to her. I will definitely entrust Janice again for future pet care needs.”

“Needed someone for a last-minute drop in for the next day and Margaret willingly accepted. She was timely and send photos while there. Will definitely contact her again.”

“Elizabeth saved me in a pinch when I couldn't get home--she came over and walked my dog, whom she'd never laid eyes on, and brought her cute daughters to give her a snuggle. Plus sent me a picture of the scene, with my happy dog soaking up the attention. Thanks again!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Kacey!! I came home to find happy cats and a clean home. And while away, I was relaxed knowing she was there. She was in great communication and sent photos of the cats throughout the trip. She goes above and beyond to love your home and your pets like her own.”

“The second time Christine stayed with Suki, my kitty was totally comfortable with her. Watching the two of them upon my return home, I could see there was a real bond between them. Beyond ensuring a pet's physical needs are being met, its emotional well-being is the most important and most challenging thing a pet sitter needs to provide for. I am happy that I can be away from home knowing that Suki will be cared for and contented in her own space with someone she trusts and loves. Christine kept me well informed with updates and photos while I was away, too, which kept ME happy!”

“Jessica was great— will definitely contact her again next time I need to go out of town. She was very good at communicating and sending photo updates. The house and the cats were in good order upon our return. Bravo!”

“I recommend Katelynn for any services that she provides. She did drop in visits for my Yorkshire Terrier while I was away on vacation. I was uncertain about his care while I was away. Then I came across the Rover app which was right on time. When I reviewed Katelynn profile, I was impressed. We did a meet a greet & I immediately asked if she would be willing to watch my dog. Katelynn was a JOY!! She adjusted her schedule per request. She even offered to water any plants or do any house chores. She even took my trash out for collection due to I was unavailable. I appreciate the photos & the updates on each visit. I wanted my pet to stay in his home so he would be comfortable. Normally I don’t write reviews but this young lady did an awesome JOB!! If she’s available, book her & I promise you will not be disappointed.”

“Timothy was a great sitter for our elderly cat. He was patient, kind and easily administered medication for our fur guy. We absolutely will hire Timothy again when we’re out of town and know our cat Stoopy would be in good hands.”

“Courtney took wonderful care of cat during our weeklong vacation. Our cat gets pretty anxious when we’re away, but she seemed really happy and calm when we came home. We would definitely book with Courtney again!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I rescued my first dog from the local humane society when I was 11, and that experience started a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a veterinary assistant for two local animal hospitals where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animal care and handling. I developed skills in basic training, puppy socialization, reading animal body language, medication administration, subcutaneous fluids, nail trimming, grooming, and bathing. I also volunteered for several years with a local dog rescue as a foster, helping provide temporary homes, structure, and love for dogs before their adoptions. Many needed socialization, basic training, and a calm environment to help them thrive. I later served as the rescue’s foster and event coordinator until 2020. Today I share my home with three of my own beloved dogs. One of our previous dogs had epilepsy and required frequent monitoring and medication, which gave me additional experience caring for pets with medical needs. In my free time I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking with my dogs, training with our Belgian Malinois, and watching my daughter ride her horse. Caring for animals has always been a true passion of mine, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a nurse who works three 12-hour shifts each week, which gives me several days off to dedicate to caring for animals. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is fairly flexible on my days off, and I’m happy to work with you to meet your pet’s individual needs and routine. Please check my calendar for availability and feel free to reach out with any specific requests. I will always do my best to accommodate and treat your animals with the same care and attention I would give my own. At this time, I’m unable to host dogs in my home, but I’m happy to care for them in the place they feel most comfortable—your home. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and extended daytime care depending on your pet’s needs. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized care in a calm and compassionate environment, treating your pets with the same attention and kindness I would give my own.
“Kayleah looked after my older cat for two weeks and had a real connection with him. He is very timid and doesn't like everyone. Her care made all the difference in the world to me knowing he was in good hands while I was away. I will definitely have her care for him again!”

“Christine was phenomenal with our pups! Beau is still a baby (5mo) and I was super nervous about his first time at ”camp”, but Christine kept me updated and put me totally at ease. Both Beau and Coco loved her and we could not be more thankful for finding someone so perfect for them while we are in town. Thanks again!!”

“Kennedy has a fabulous time with Samantha and Michael and their adorable kids! We got updates and pictures and they were very quick to respond. We were very happy and would highly recommend them! Kennedy would love to come back to play!”

“Alison is so great! She was super flexible with drop off and pick up time and my dog loved staying with her during the day. Once we were two blocks away he would start running and whimpering.”

“Kimberly was fantastic. Our pup spent the entire day with her while we golfed and had a birthday dinner. Very appreciative of her and will reach out again if we are in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Nayeli was an excellent doggy mommy for my boy Lu. He had doggy friends to play with, a fenced in yard, lots of doggy beds and toys to play and chill with. Nayeli kept me updated, and made the experience great and very convenient for me. Highly recommended.”

“Marielle took great care of my little Zuzu! My puppy started the day sad about me leaving her there and by the end she was totally bonded with Marielle! She was also totally tuckered out so she clearly got plenty of exercise.”

About: My own dogs are always the #1 teacher. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. I've volunteered at dog shelters, spent hours walking dogs in all kinds of weather, and offered comfort to friends who've had to say goodbye to their best fur friends. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets plenty of attention - playing, feeding, and scratching behind the ears. I take my dog for swims in the river, off leash romps in the woods, and leashed walks around town. We also play fetch and tug-of-war in the house or on the deck. If your dog needs a playmate, my dog, Jackson, may be a good fit. My cats - depending on their mood - like to lounge in the sun, pounce on the occasional toy, run up stairs, and hunt for treats I've hidden for them.

“Amanda was an amazing sitter for our dog Honey! She was thoughtful, communicative, flexible on timing, and Honey seemed so happy and calm when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

“My dog loves to go to Stephen’s for doggie daycare and comes home tired from her day there. I feel comfortable having her there and I will be using Stephen again to watch my pup.”

“Jacqueline was very friendly and communicative, and Bunsen took an instant liking. We received photos of her well-being during her stay and of her mile walk. Jacqueline’s home is conveniently located in a popular historic town, making drop-off/pickup easy on the way to/from Hunter Ski Resort from our hotel. Bunsen was well cared for and happy. She was also so tired, that she managed to rest during the long car ride back home! We would book Jacqueline again.”

About: I have alot of experience with horse sized dogs and little obes alike, its important to me that they get the love they miss from their owners. Im currently going to school partime and learning the area so i have tons of time to go for walks or play with your fur baby and keep up their schedule. Currently I have a 15ft by 5ft outdoor kennel. Yard is well maintained with space and away from any roads. Private residence. I keep my small dog on a lead. Lead is also an option for other animals. My yard has plenty of space for playtime and fetching.

About: With years of pet-caring experience and repeat clients, I will love your pets as if they are my own. With my gentle giant, Sunny, we provide a safe, healthy, fun “home away from home” for your dog or cat. Due to his mellow, peaceful nature, Sunny is an especially apt playmate and partner for young puppies, first-time boarders, seniors, and cats. I’m also available to brush out and feed your horses while you’re out of town. I work remotely, and am fully available to care for your dog and/or cat. I can accommodate early risers (starting from 6am) to late bloomers (your pup can sleep in until 10am!). Every weekend, I take Sunny and any visiting pups to the Salisbury Community Dog Park in CT. I live in a spacious, clean three-story home in Amenia. Your pup or cat is welcome to the couch. I rarely watch TV, so the space is nice and quiet. We have a spacious (unfenced) backyard, so I’m happy to walk dogs out there, but never without a leash. For any first-time cat visitors who might be a bit timid, I have a quiet guest bedroom with a comfy bed — he or she can call it their private room as they acclimate to their new surroundings. 👑😊

I can tell that my dog made new friends so even if I don't need to board him overnight again, I know that I can drop him off to hang out with his new friends. “Samantha & Michael are OUTSTANDING!! They are very compassionate and understanding people!! We had a very unique situation, and they could not have done more for us to make us feel comfortable. Our 8 year old pup doesn’t always get along with other dogs. While visiting our family in New York for Christmas - we needed to find someone just for Christmas Day (about 9 hours - not over night) since there were going to be other dogs at the house we were at. Even though Samantha and Michael have 2 dogs of their own, they assured us that the way their house is set up (inside & outside) the dogs wouldn’t see each other and it wouldn’t be a problem at all, plus they shared that they’ve had experience with one of their own pups in years past not getting along with other animals or people. They even had baby gates if they needed to use them. And they were right!!! Everything was fine - no issues at all!!! They truly went above & beyond for us and our pup and we truly consider them our Christmas Angels!!! They sent pictures and texts throughout the day updating us, which really put us at ease and helped us enjoy our Christmas Day!! If you are in need of someone to take care of your special furry family member - look no further!!! We 100% will use Samantha and Michael again and very highly recommend them!!!”
