I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. It is February and the weather is as bad as can be. Freezing rain on top of snow. We never met Paula but she said YES, she would help us! Amazing!! Paula showed up a few minutes early. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

“Dawn is excellent! I highly recommend for anyone to trust your pet with her. My pup has separation anxiety and we have never left him with anyone or boarded him because of his anxiety. The first day we met Dawn our puppy didn’t want to come home! He felt comfortable with her and her Maestro. We left him with her for 1 day and he came home so tired he rested the rest of the night and entire next day, and for our guy that is unheard of, he’s very high energy! Then we left him with her for 3 nights and he had a blast! She sent updates with videos and pics which was very nice as we missed him so much for it being the first time we’ve left him. It is such a relief to have found an excellent dog sitter. It’s also nice for our guy to get the socialization with other dogs because he doesn’t get that as much as we would like at home. We will be booking with Dawn whenever we need a sitter.”
