My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. “I wanted to give the highest recommendation to Volha as a dog-sitter! My 1.5 year old pitbull mix stayed with Volha and her family for 3 nights (3.5 days.) I have to admit, this being my first time using the service, I was a bit nervous. Not because I do not trust Rover, but because my dog in particular is very timid, shy, and can be very introverted - so I did not know how she would take to being left for days with strangers (except for meeting Volha in the park for a few minutes a few days before.) It turns out i had nothing to worry about! She immediately took to the family and stayed on a normal behavioral and sleep schedule and seems to have had a great time. For reference, in the past, even when my dog would stay WITH me but I would take her out of town for a couple of days, she would act a bit strange after being knocked out of her normal routine. (Nothing super out of the ordinary - but she would, for example, go hide in the bathroom for a few hours and generally act very despondent.) My point is - whatever Volha and her family are doing is great! My dog came back happy, healthy, and energetic. In terms Volha's communication style, she sent me several pictures and written updates during the days when I was gone, going out of her way to be in touch and asking the extra questions to make sure that everything was okay. Pending availability, I definitely plan to work with Volha again!”

About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. I really believe cats deserve the attention and commitment dogs do.

I’m currently working on a hybrid schedule where I work from home most of the times so your furbaby will hardly be left alone. If I have to go into the office, it would be no more than 4 hours (once or twice a week at most). If guest pet ever need to be left alone, you will be notified ahead of time and our furbabies will be separated in a different room. We have a ginormous fenced in backyard that your furbaby can roam around throughout the day with our two 10-yo laid back-couch potatoes chihuahua sisters, Freya and Medea. I’m a helicopter dog mom so rest assured no pups will be left outside with no supervision. Pups are allowed on furnitures, welcomed to sleep with us, and will never be crated (unless instructed otherwise). We are homebodies and have plenty of time to entertain and love on your furbaby! Spending time away from human-parents and being in a stranger home can be a stressful time, we will do our best to make them feel like a part of our pack. I can give cats and dogs medication if needed. I had a cat when I was teenager with diabetes so I leaned how to give injections to an animal. I currently work with in a warehouse Do it best from 5:30am to 2pm (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) 5:30am to 4pm (Tuesday) 5:30 to 11:30am (Friday). I do take my lunch from 11:30 to 12pm I do come home for my lunch breaks. On the weekends I am free all day. I crate my dog while I am out of my house & when we are going outside we are always leashed. Also a dog would never be left outside unattended for any amount of time.

About: I grew up with lots of animals in my house my whole entire life. Everything from birds, reptiles, fish to basic ones such as cats and dogs. In summer I was on farm with horses, cows, pigs, chickens and much more. I have been watching dogs for as long as I remember. Both in my house as well as other homes. About: I have lived with dogs my entire life and I had helped with the puppy stage for two dogs in the last 5 years. My family got a German Shepherd puppy 5 years ago and then we decided he needed a friend so I helped with a new puppy who’s a Beagle just this past fall. I also have had recent jobs where responsibility was a necessity as I was a para educator with special needs kids over the summer. I’m currently a college student so my weekdays are pretty busy with classes and trying to keep up with school work but I could be free on the weekends depending. At home I help with feeding my dogs, one of my dogs has epilepsy so I’m familiar with giving medications, I also help to walk them and love to play with them to help them get their energy out. “I wanted to give the highest recommendation to Volha as a dog-sitter! My 1.5 year old pitbull mix stayed with Volha and her family for 3 nights (3.5 days.) I have to admit, this being my first time using the service, I was a bit nervous. Not because I do not trust Rover, but because my dog in particular is very timid, shy, and can be very introverted - so I did not know how she would take to being left for days with strangers (except for meeting Volha in the park for a few minutes a few days before.) It turns out i had nothing to worry about! She immediately took to the family and stayed on a normal behavioral and sleep schedule and seems to have had a great time. For reference, in the past, even when my dog would stay WITH me but I would take her out of town for a couple of days, she would act a bit strange after being knocked out of her normal routine. (Nothing super out of the ordinary - but she would, for example, go hide in the bathroom for a few hours and generally act very despondent.) My point is - whatever Volha and her family are doing is great! My dog came back happy, healthy, and energetic. In terms Volha's communication style, she sent me several pictures and written updates during the days when I was gone, going out of her way to be in touch and asking the extra questions to make sure that everything was okay. Pending availability, I definitely plan to work with Volha again!”
