This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions. About: I grew up in a household full of animals and have been pet sitting for neighbors for as long as I have been old enough. I've had dogs, guinea pigs, a rabbit, chickens and numerous other small creatures who I have loved over the years. My profile picture is of my parent's golden doodle! About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and any specific needs the pet may have. I also spend time with each pet so they feel comfortable and not alone. I respect each client’s home by keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. In my own home, I care for my three cats daily, so I’m very familiar with maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment for pets.
About: I grew up in a household full of animals and have been pet sitting for neighbors for as long as I have been old enough. About: While I'm more experienced with cats in my home, I have always been the go-to pet sitter for all friends and family. I appreciate that they get just as excited to go for a w-a-l-k as I do. It helps that my schedule is extremely flexible since I'm a bartender who works odd hours. I can do early mornings, late nights, and a mix of anything you need in between. I'm a bartender, so I am available early mornings, late nights, and a good mix of anything in between. The bar I work at is also closed on Sundays and Mondays, so scheduling on those days is completely flexible. My cats are fairly active, so we spend quite a bit of time playing fetch or hide and seek (cats are so odd). I also take them on bike rides with my bike trailer attachment. I'm also equipped to handle medication needs. I don't crate my cats when I'm not home, so that would have to be provided by the client if there is a requirement for one.

“AMAZING CARE!! This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions.
