“During the introduction meeting Carolina and her family were all so welcoming and kind and Carolina was obviously on point professionally so I was completely comfortable with leaving Onyx with them. The appointment went very smoothly and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog-sitter.”

“Steve was great with Dodger! He is highly experienced with dogs and it really shows, Steve was able to introduce Dodger to the group of dogs he cares for and help him to integrate with the group. Dodger had room to play in the enclosed back yard, and from the pictures I received, it looks like he had a great time. I really appreciate the personalized attention and did not stress at all when I went away for work, I knew that my pup was in good hands.”

“Laura took excellent care of my dogs on a last minute request for overnight care. She sent fun photos of the boys playing and on walks. She even brushed some of the winter fluff off of them. The boys had a great time. 💕”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for 10 yrs and have owned a cattle dog mix for 6! I’ve fostered and pet sat dogs, cats, and kittens throughout that time. I have experience giving medication, basic training, and am detail oriented when it comes to any special instructions. My priority is following your lead when it comes to what's best for your pet's safety, nurturance, and play! Right now, my care schedule is flexible! I'm available for boarding in my home or pet sitting in yours. I work part-time, two days a week as a direct service provider from my home and 1-2 events per week at Cornell. I'm intentionally staying open so I can spend time at home with my dog and am never away for long! I love taking long walks around my quiet, rural neighborhood or spending time exploring the area. I live in a quiet, rural cottage with a screened in porch, backyard and tie out. My cattle dog mix is super playful and loves other dogs! Happy to also provide care in your home, especially for cats and other animals.
“Our 2 dogs spent 10 days with Destiny, the longest they’ve ever been away from us, and Destiny was wonderful! She is welcoming & kind, loving & practical. Her home is perfect for dogs with plenty of indoor & outdoor space, hiking trails and a creek to splash in on hot summer days. Our dogs are pretty easy but very attached to us, and one of them needs daily meds. Destiny clearly made them comfortable with her immediately, and they looked incredibly happy in all of the photos she sent daily. The dogs were happy to see us when we arrived but also clearly happy, comfortable & well-loved in Destiny’s home. We’d love to leave them with Destiny again!”

“Such an amazing place!!! Mary and her husband are super nice and well equipped to take care of of your pet. They keep you updated through out the day, while your pet is there and take very good care of your pet. I’ll definitely book with them again!!!!!”

“Charlie came back happy and healthy! Susan kept us well updated without needing to prompt, which was much appreciated while we were tied up on vacation it was nice to see he was being well cared for.”
“Rose was great and very easy to deal with. She took great care of our Griff and he loved playing ball and was tired out. I would definetely reccommend her. Very friendly and appreciative and loves animals.”

“Lil bear loves going there. I never have to worry about him when I drop him off. We use them for overnight boarding and doggy daycare. I highly recommend them.”
“Monica was amazing with our dog! He came home happy, healthy, and was clearly well taken care of. He also had a great time with their dog. I will most definitely use her services again!”

“Friendly, open, took the time to show me her house so I felt comfortable leaving my special girl there overnight. Excellent communication and picture updates. I felt very much at ease knowing my pup was being cared for. I will absolutely use Chantal again!”

About: Ever since I was 5 years old I was taught the responsibility and knowledge to handle dogs and animals of all varieties. I cared for parakeets, doves, fish, chinchilla, kids, many dogs both big and small, rescued and pure bred, and have had many canine friends over the years. I’ll treat your fur babies as lovingly as I treat mine! I don’t mind cleaning them, bathing, walking, feeding, exercising, or any other thing needed to their specifications. I will follow your instructions to the T. I have all the time to give them my full attention and love, and never less. I ensure you, that with me, you’re barking up the right tree! I am open any and all times, I’m looking for any jobs. I I’m not picky about my times and I’m more than happy to accommodate. I always do my very best to follow instructions as perfect as possible. I ask that you write me a note or send me a text telling me what you want me to do, so I can refer back to it.
“Robert and Eileen were so wonderful with our dog Poppy! This was our first time leaving her with a sitter, she usually goes everywhere we do. They made her comfort and care a priority, and we are so grateful for that. She had a wonderful time, and came home exhausted in the best way! Excellent communication and very accommodating, we would certainly book another stay with them!”

“Ashley and Brian treated our puppy Mochi like one of their own. I felt very reassured leaving our dog with them because every morning Ashley since a detailed update on how Mochi had been doing and included pictures as well, which meant the world to me! Our pup got to play with other dogs the whole visit and had ample active time and affection from her hosts. I'm really grateful I found this place and wouldn't hesitate to board here again. Thank you Ashley and Brian for taking such good care of her.”

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life. My current cat is a sassy senior tortie named Queen. I'm well versed in reading body language through ears and tail. I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions; managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. In the past, I’ve taken care of my parent's diabetic asthmatic cat by giving her insulin injections daily as well as using an inhaler on her. Animal rescue is my biggest passion! When I was growing up, my mother fostered many cats and kittens for the SPCA. That is where my love of cats began; helping mom take care of the fosters as a young child. I recognize that every pet has a different personality and different needs. I look forward to discussing your pet's needs.
About: I grew up in a household full of animals and have been pet sitting for neighbors for as long as I have been old enough. I've had dogs, guinea pigs, a rabbit, chickens and numerous other small creatures who I have loved over the years. My profile picture is of my parent's golden doodle! I am currently a physical therapy student at Ithaca College who is spending the summer here in Ithaca and looking to dog walk/sit or pet sit! I am not planning on doing any boarding of animals because of my household's allergies but I am available for house sitting, drop-in visits and walking!
“Our cats loved Tammy! She kept us up to date with pictures and anything important around the house. She asked lots of great questions to make sure the kitties were happy and taken care of.”

About: Ever since I was a small child, neighbors and friends have entrusted me to check in on their beloved animals and ensure they are fed, played with, and cleaned up after. As an adult who normally teaches full time, I have house sit for colleagues who have children and take them on vacation while I look after their dogs and their parents' chickens across the street. I don't work summers or during school breaks and I don't have kids so I have a lot of flexibility and free time when school is not in session. I'm great with animals On breaks and weekends, I can make pet care my sole focus. No children or other pressing obligations means that I can give all my attention to your furry friends. I come prepared to enrich your pets time and can read a book while they sleep. My husband can handle my household chores so that I don't have to leave your house if that is what the job entails. The only real routine barrier is my teaching job but that is only during week days in the 10 month school year not accounting for planned holidays, Summer or weeks off. I can prepare food, take on walks, clean litter boxes, give medicine, regularly keep water bowls cleaned and filled, play with and ensure that all animals are where they are supposed to be when I turn in for the night or leave the house. I will defer to client's needs or requests as well for anything out of the ordinary.

My girl is part pitty and tends to only want her and her brother here.

“I needed my cat boarded for the day and he accepted boarding her. He was reliable with communication and was able to have my cat boarded and my cat was relaxed when I picked her up. I would definitely recommend for sitting or boarding your pet.”

“Karina did a great job with Bella and was openly kind, courteous, trusting, attentive, responsible, respectful, communicative and just all around the perfect pet sitter! “I am working out of town and Caterina has been a god send for letting me take my puppy with me during the week. She is tucked away in the country with lots of walks and interactions with other doggy friends, which my girl loves. Highly recommend!”

“My dog had a fabulous time at daycare with Mikia, her daughter and her dog Zara. I received some great photos (including some funny ones of the dogs wrestling) and felt comfortable knowing the dog was having a good time, socializing and burning off her adolescent energy while I was at work. Highly recommend!”

About: I have a small dog, an indoor piggy, and a caged bird. I have grown up with pets, and always make sure they are properly taken care of. I love all animals, and strive to provide them the best stay possible. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to spend with the fur babies! I enjoy walking in the morning and evening, and if your pup enjoys that they can tag along! The animals will be taken care of just as my own. My dog is spoiled, and loves to snuggle. She’s is not aggressive towards other dogs, she just prefers humans. The animals are allowed on furniture and allowed to sleep in bed with Charlie and myself; as my home is their home for the duration of their stay!
“Destiny was a gem! She took care of my puppy with only a few days notice. He was so happy and well cared for during his stay. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Thank you so much to Shanea and family for caring for our Boy during a busy trip, and being so lovely and patient with a rapidly changing schedule. We would definitely book Shanea again anytime we are in town!”

“My yellow lab, Sandy, had a wonderful day with Claudia! Claudia was very responsive and engaging, fun, and bubbly. Since she was going to be taking care of another dog on the same day that I booked Sandy's stay, Claudia suggested that we meet both her and Bella (cutest pug ever!) ahead of time to see how the two dogs would get along. It was so nice to be able to do that so that it was easy for me to just drop Sandy off on her booked day without a worry. Claudia sent me fun videos and pictures throughout the day, which was fantastic. Sandy loved her! I will definitely book Claudia again whenever I am in Ithaca! She was fabulous!!”

About: Hi, I’m Katie, and I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life. My family has 6 dogs total, from a Chihuahua to Pit Bulls, so I’m quite familiar with taking care of different sizes, ages, and breeds. I also have experience taking care of senior dogs with special needs, as I used to own a blind and deaf dog. I’m happy to pet sit overnight or just take your dog on a walk! I’m definitely a homebody, so your pet can have my undivided attention. It would genuinely make me so happy to take care of your dog, please feel free to reach out! I’m currently working part-time and taking classes remotely, so I’m almost always home. My work days are on the weekends, but on weekdays I am completely free! While I work weekends, I work close enough to home to be able to check-in during my breaks. I do not have any pets at home, so any pets can expect my undivided attention. I do not have a yard, but I am happy to take dogs for long walks around campus!
“Susan kept in touch with me on my dog's first day care try. My dog did not get along with the other dog, so she kept them separated until I could get there to pick my dog up. Susan was very patient with him and kept him company. The problem was my dog and I will contact her again for a solo stay.”

I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. About: I've cared for dogs of different sizes over the years and I love to cuddle, walk, and pamper pups. We have a fenced in back yard and I like to take long walks with dogs if they're up for it. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. When boarding, I make sure pups get any meds they need, plenty of time outside, and snuggles on the couch (if they're the snuggling type). I know some dogs need longer or shorter walks, and I make adjustments based on what they need.
“Chantal is a fabulous rover who always takes such sweet care of my puppy. He absolutely loves her and warmed up to her within minutes at our meet and greet. Chantal follows directions and provides great care with updates. Kind, intuitive, and nurturing she provided excellent care while my puppy recovered from a stomach bug. He gets excited every time we pull up to her home and happily awaits weekly visits. Great rover reliable and sincere, she completely turned our Rover experience around after a negative experience with a different Rover the first time we used the app. Repeat customer, we can always count on Chantal to offer amazing services.”

About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

“McKayla is a dog whisperer. My dog can be fearful and reactive of strangers and she took to McKayla right away. She walked my dog several times while I was on a 2 week trip, and I felt so comfortable knowing my quirky pup was in good hands. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs who have special considerations. So happy I found her as a walker! Highly recommend her.”

I’m comfortable caring for shy, independent, or more social pets. I offer drop-in visits for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and making sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I also offer dog walking for all breeds. I keep a flexible but structured schedule so I can give each pet the time and attention they need without feeling rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I respect each client’s home by keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. In my own home, I care for my three cats daily, so I’m very familiar with maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment for pets.

About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities for a large portion of my life - from when I was a kid in Jersey until last year, when my sweet and challenging pit bull, Hudson passed away. The fourteen years I spent with him taught me everything I could possibly want to know about how to care for a dog. I love and miss him so. I'm not in a position to adopt a new dog of my own yet, but spending time with yours would be the next best thing! I have a part-time job at a local artist residency with flexible hours. I have my own car and am available for multiple services at various times each day of the week. I have a fenced in yard and a large dog crate, 2 dog beds, and plenty of toys. I'm an extremely trustworthy person and would treat any client's home with the utmost respect and care. I'm an active runner and would love to take your dog for hikes and walks with me.
About: Hey! I'm Yazmeen. I've been petsitting for the last 8 years. I started with my sister and continued on my own. I have experience giving medication and with senior dogs as well as kittens. I love a long walk if the dog is up for it, and I'm always down to play and snuggle. Let me know if you're interested! My schedule is pretty flexible right now. I I usually wake up early, so I don't mind an early walk or feeding schedule. I typically go to bed around 11pm-midnight, but I am happy to work around a pet's schedule, especially to accommodate any medications or weather. I was raised to leave things better than I found them, so I always do a thorough clean before I leave a petsitting gig (including washing sheets, so you can go straight to bed!) I can also bring in mail and water plants if you give me a watering schedule.
About: I have had Pets my entire life and have taken care of them since I can remember. I take care of family friends Dogs and Cats. I do dog walking services around my neighborhood and enjoy being able to look out for our furry friends. I have been taking care of pets all my life. I am home for the summer from college and without a full time job I am able to be of pet care assistance at almost anytime. I believe that taking care of pets is a high priority in life and it deserves the same time and care as any other job. I believe that all pets deserve love and care the same way their owners would care for them. When an owner is not with the pet they deserve extra care to make them feel loved. I enjoy spending time with pets and giving them my time just as much as they may enjoy it. Pets are a major priority in my life and I think they deserve attention and care as much as we can give them.

About: Hi, I'm Coleman! By day, I research global catastrophic risks but my most important job? Making sure your dog is taken care of as well as absolutely possible! I've spent 8 years walking, sitting, and caring for pets of every temperament — anxious rescues, high-energy huskies, suspicious cats who take three days to warm up to anyone. Animals have always been my reset button from heavy intellectual work, and I bring that same obsessive attention to detail to every pet in my care. As a Cornell researcher and lifelong animal lover, I treat your pet the way I'd want the world's most conscientious person to treat them — with patience, structure, genuine affection, and no shortcuts. Your dog can't interview their sitter. But you can. I'm an open book. My schedule is extremely flexible! From early morning walks to long weekend (or more!) long house stays, I can make most any schedule work for my clients! I treat the animals I watch with care, considerations, and importantly with plenty of affection. But I also recognize every animal is unique and requires an individual approach, so I strive to interact with any pets, new or old, familiar or not, big or small, with the care they deserve!

“Thank you Ray! Pepper had a great time! It was nice to get photos and videos of you all out and about while we were away. Will definitely call you again when we need a safe fun place for Pepper and Oona when we travel again!”

“Our pups had the Best stay at Jessica’s while we were away for the weekend. Jessica was so wonderful about sending lots of pics and keeping me informed of our pups day to day activities. So happy we found her and will absolutely book again”

“Shanea is amazing! She took care of our 6 month old picky labradoodle so well. She’s like his second family and had an awesome time. I would trust her to take care of your fur babies like they were her own.”
