“This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. I will be booking with Lori and Rees again. Practice makes perfect!”
About: I absolutely love animals. I have been helping friends and neighbors with watching their pets for years. I currently have two dogs myself, one with complicated medical needs. I am confident I would be able to care for your pets no matter their age. I currently work from home 2-3 days per week and am available most weekends. Our two Poms love to play and cuddle with us on the couch. Your pets would be welcome to join us on the couch. I have a fenced in backyard. I live in a dead-end street near the rail trail so walks are a breeze and do not have me near any main roads. I do have two Pomeranians to keep your pets company while with us. About: My own dogs are always the #1 teacher. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life. I especially love small dogs and understand that they need the same level of play and mental stimulation as all dogs. I have cared for cats, small animals, and chickens. I am a self employed artist with a flexible schedule. I take my own small dogs out to the local dog park every morning. I enjoy taking dogs out for walks in the nature areas and parks. I have two large fenced gardens at my home and allow my dogs to enjoy off leash time there.
