About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. About: I have had 5 different dogs of my own throughout my life and sat for dozens of other dogs of all ages and sizes as well! I have experience with dogs as young as 8 weeks old and as old as 12 years old, and I currently still have 2 large breed dogs I take of care of, too! I actively volunteer at my local animal shelters and am pursuing a degree in Zoology to turn my love for animals into a career! I’m currently a student athlete at SUNY Oswego. I work on campus for campus rec, therefore I may be unavailable for a few hours some days, but as a student athlete I have great time management! About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. About: I have worked at a veterinary hospital for 7years and I have run my own petsitting on the side for 4 years. I am experienced with all kinds of animals (exotics, farm animals, seniors, pets with behavioral quirks etc) I am able to administer medication and can handle pets with more care requirements than usual. There are classes that you can go in and they will take the time and show you for some things. I like to to participate in these classes so I have knowledge when it comes time to if anything happens. I started dog walking at 12 years old. A long with other jobs of course throughout life. I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years. I love what I do! I love being around animals! I do this full time as my job even though it is more like a passion than a job to me. I stay at people’s houses. I travel and do pet sitting, I stay over night a lot. The most was a week that I worked for with a client and stayed at their house the whole time. I will also do day sitting or check-ins but mostly overnight and pet sitting during the day at my clients homes. Traveling is a lot and a lot of people like when you stay at their homes with their animals and care for them. The animals are safe and feel comfortable in their own environment. I make sure that all my fur babies are cared for, loved, given the attention that they need and all their needs are met. I am a traveling pet sitter now. I use to board animals in my home until I sold my house just recently. Now, I travel to my clients homes. I mostly stay overnight and for more than one day because my clients go away on vacation. I do many services for my clients. I walk your animal, feed your animal whether if it’s can food, dry food or home made food which I have made home made food for my fur babies before and still do. I administer medication to animals, groom them, brush, bathe, keep them active and help them with their mobility, Play, do fun activities with my fur babies, train, keep them busy and entertained and plenty more. I make sure your animal is well cared for, loved like he or she was my own, given the attention it needs, Be happy and even more. I go over and beyond for my fur babies and each and everyone always feels safe, comfortable, loved, happy and etc….. I have a lot of clients and some of them I care for during the Summer when they go away a lot and some of my clients I care for during the week and in wknds. I am very easy to work with because I am a good person. Good people work with good people. All my clients know how caring I am and feel good about leaving their loved ones with me.
About: I have always had a way with animals. They seem able to feel the peace and caring in me so that aren’t afraid.I am personable and genuinely care for people and animals . I am 58 years old and have extra time to take care of your pet. I don’t work a full time job anymore so I am available mostly anytime I am needed If you need me to stay in your home to care for your pet, I am respectful of your house and everything within it. I own my house and know the anxiety of leaving someone you don’t know in your home wondering what your home will look like when you get back. Your home will look exactly the same as it did when you left. Possibly even clear than when you left.
About: Ive been around dogs my whole life. I worked at dog daycares, was a kennel tech at Petland and have years of animal sitting experience including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens etc. I had a husky mix most recently for 8 years before she passed. ***dog must be okay with children*** I currently work evenings and am available most mornings/ days/ and late evening. Although I do not have a fully fenced in backyard, we do have a backyard, tons of parks around us, hiking trails and enclosed baseball fields. I allow doggos on my furniture and bed. I work evenings and typically 4-5 hour shifts. I usually take the dogs for a long walk or to the park prior to me going to work to make sure they’re tired/sleeping rather than bored while I’m away. I can also accommodate crating if needed. There’s a fenced in ball park down the street with plenty of side walks for walks. I allow animals on furniture and have plenty of blankets to keep them cozy.
