“Chester was absolutely fabulous when we had him watch Rocco, our 100lb Catahoula Leopard Dog. My father passed way in a different state so we were trying to find someone to watch Rocco either in our home or theirs so we could attend services. He was a rescue a year ago and didn’t want to put him in a kennel or place where he would think he was being abandoned. After reading that Chester not only boards dogs in his home, but has a large property for long walks and a fenced in area for play, I felt confident contacting him. Chester was able to accommodate our last minute request and had a meet and greet that same day. Rocco met the other dog he was boarding at the time and being Rocco loves other dogs, he was excited to be there which made me feel even better. Having access to other rooms, I one this was the place for him. While away, Chester sent us pictures, videos, and a brief summary every day to let us know how Rocco was doing. We saw Rocco getting walks, playing with the other dogs, getting treats, playing with toys, and just relaxing. That put us at ease knowing Chester treated him like his own. I would definitely recommend Chester and we will definitely have Rocco there again one day.”

I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. About: When I was a little girl, I read the warrior cat series and fell in love with cats. I decided I had to have one. It took me over two years to convince my parents, but once I got my first (a five year that had been abandoned at the shelter on Christmas) I was hooked. I love every cat, not just my own. Eventually even the most aloof, unfriendly, feral old curmudgeon of a kitty has my respect. I will never force a cat that doesn't want to be bothered to give me attention. That said, I'm very good at doing towel burritos around them if they do need to get a nail trimming or insulin injection. I love to play with them and find new ways to give them enrichment. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.

I enjoy taking dogs on sniff walks and playing mentally enriching games with them! I have often taken care of family and friends' animals throughout the years. I am reliable, punctual, and have a very flexible schedule! I recently moved back into the area and don't have a set schedule, so I have lots of availability! I am available all day every day except for Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays I am available in the morning and afternoon until 3 pm. On Saturdays I am available late afternoons and evenings after 3 pm. I will spend a minimum of 30 minutes at your house, providing your animal with whatever care it needs, as well as lots of love and attention! I will take them on long walks, play games with them in the house, or even cuddle with them during their rest time, if that's what they like.

About: I have experience with many different dog breeds with different energy and health needs. I give all of the animals under my care the same treatment. I would take care of a super senior cat with the same dedication I would a golden retriever puppy. I'm not squeamish at all either, I'm comfortable dealing with body fluids and administering injection and medications. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters so i've seen it all! Currently, my only commitments are helping to babysit younger family members, which is flexible schedule and only part-time. About: I've loved them all. From guinea pigs to rabbits, hamsters and ferrets, parrots and fish, cats and dogs. “Chester was absolutely fabulous when we had him watch Rocco, our 100lb Catahoula Leopard Dog. My father passed way in a different state so we were trying to find someone to watch Rocco either in our home or theirs so we could attend services. He was a rescue a year ago and didn’t want to put him in a kennel or place where he would think he was being abandoned. After reading that Chester not only boards dogs in his home, but has a large property for long walks and a fenced in area for play, I felt confident contacting him. Chester was able to accommodate our last minute request and had a meet and greet that same day. Rocco met the other dog he was boarding at the time and being Rocco loves other dogs, he was excited to be there which made me feel even better. Having access to other rooms, I one this was the place for him. While away, Chester sent us pictures, videos, and a brief summary every day to let us know how Rocco was doing. We saw Rocco getting walks, playing with the other dogs, getting treats, playing with toys, and just relaxing. That put us at ease knowing Chester treated him like his own. I would definitely recommend Chester and we will definitely have Rocco there again one day.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets and have experience with special needs animals, seniors and kittens/puppies. I can administer medicine and am very cognizant of a pet’s personality. For example I have a timid cat, a menace cat and a love bug cat. My Siberian husky is more cat than dog too. I can do drop ins or board dogs in my home. I can also stop by for walks. For the board ins I prefer to take in only dogs because I don’t want to stress the kitty crew out, but I’d be available to come do drop ins for the cats. My yard isn’t completely fenced so I’d probably take the doggos to the park at apple grove and for walks around town. I have three friendly cats and my husky also loves dogs.

My pet sitting business is my full-time career so rest assure your pup will have my full attention. We have a large, private and clean fenced in backyard where your pup will be able to roam and sniff till their hearts content, with potty breaks every hour or two! IMPORTANT: Pups may be dropped off as early as 8 AM and they must be picked up by 7 PM. We are happy to board an extra /night day if needed to accommodate these business hours. About: I lived in California for 4 years and while I was there I was apart of a dog rescue. Many dogs lived at my house. I also had a couple of cats , so I am comfortable around both! I am working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty open for the most part. You can just ask me a time and I can see if I can work around it! I watch a family friends dog a lot at my house. He just wanders around the house. He is usually stuck to me like glue so he doesn’t go far lol . When he stays at my house he just lays in bed with me. He is a Maltese and Chihuahua mix! When he goes outside to use the bathroom he doesn’t go far and he listens to me when I tell him to come. I do not have fencing or anything around my house.
