“Lori is excellent! Our energetic golden retriever stayed with Lori for a week. She greeted us at the door and allowed us to settle him in before we left for a week. She has a great, comfortable space for dogs, including a large fenced in yard. She has a friendly dog and was sure to introduce them slowly and safely. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. About: I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and will be sure to make your pup feel at home! I work from home and can give lots of attention. I also have a large open yard for play, enclosed kennel space as well, and a small dog for added socialization. I work from home and my own dog stays with me throughout the day. I do regular bathroom breaks, have access to water, and when the weather is nice get out for frequent walks. I have a shaded outdoor kennel should the weather be nice enough for my dog to have some extra outdoor time or use the screened in porch. Lots of options for your pup to get all they need. Your pet will follow the same schedule as my pup based on the time your pet is with me. Morning bathroom break, feeding (if applicable), time with me while I work, regular bathroom breaks during the day, end of work day feeding (if applicable), bathroom break before bedtime, and crated overnight. During nice weather I like to get in 2-3 walks; morning, lunch, and evening. This schedule can be modified based on your pets needs.

With years of personal experience, including caring for a senior dog who lived a full 15 years and now rests peacefully, as well as raising my adventurous 4-year-old cat and my energetic 2-year-old dog, I bring dedication and compassion to animal care. Whether providing hands-on assistance or finding homes for animals in need, I am always ready to go above and beyond to keep them out of harm’s way and surrounded by love. Animal care has always been a big part of my life. I grew up around animals, which eventually led me to work in a veterinary clinic where I gained hands-on experience with pet health, behavior, and daily care. I’m no longer employed at the clinic, but the knowledge and skills I gained there still guide the way I care for every pet I work with. My schedule is now fully open, which means I can give your pet the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Whether your companion needs walks, playtime, medication support, or simply a reliable and comforting presence, I’m committed to providing exceptional care. I treat every animal like my own and make sure you feel confident while you’re away by offering dependable communication and genuine love for your pet. I’m excited to meet you and your furry family member! 🐾 I have a medium sized outdoor fenced in area that also is connected to an indoor area to get out of the heat. I also have a dog tie out that goes from the house down our hill.

“Mike and Amy are the best. Tonight when they dropped Buddie off, Buddie did not just fly out of the car to greet me. I had to go around to the open door and watch him wagging his tail like crazy in the back of their car and for a moment, I believe he was conflicted because he loves Mike and Amy & Bear so much that he didn't want to choose! It was sweet and made me happy that boarding him didn't seem to work out because Mike, Amy and Bear give him nonstop attention and love that no boarding place could. 💙”

We had a very unique situation where we really wanted our dog, Maui, to be a part of our wedding day and weren’t from the area so we were unsure how to find someone that could pick him up from the venue while we were getting married and board him overnight. Sue went above and beyond to pick him up and board him. Sue also kept us updated with how Maui was doing and he had a great time playing with her cockapoo Ninny! “Lori is excellent! Our energetic golden retriever stayed with Lori for a week. She greeted us at the door and allowed us to settle him in before we left for a week. She has a great, comfortable space for dogs, including a large fenced in yard. She has a friendly dog and was sure to introduce them slowly and safely. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. She also gave Louie a bath before we picked him up! We will definitely use Lori again. Couldn’t recommend her more.”
