About: I have worked a lot with both ends of the spectrum in terms of activity: I enjoy sleepy dogs as well as hounds. I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. I have recently graduated from Bard College. About: My own dogs are always the #1 teacher. They show me how to best care for them - with food, play, training, medications, travel, sleepless days and nights when they've been ill, and giving them all them comfort I can. Pets are allowed on the furniture, unless you state explicitly state you don't want them to be. I prefer not to kennel overnight, but there are always exceptions to the rule! I am able to help with puppies and older pups alike; age is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may have for me, thank you so much we can’t wait to meet you! I am currently working part time but I am always available for nightly drop ins or for any early morning stops on my way in. I am always respectful of your safety protocols, gates are always double and triple checked, doors are always checked to be shut correctly. Food and water levels are consistently monitored. When I care for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow your pet’s routine closely & I make sure they’re comfortable in their space, following their usual schedule for walks, meals, playtime, and cuddles. Whether it’s sticking to their favorite walking route or knowing exactly how they like their food prepared, I pay close attention to every detail you share. I know how much the little details matter! Being in their own environment helps your pet feel more relaxed, and I’m there to make sure they feel loved every step of the way. I’m experienced in administering a variety of medications, including flea and tick ointments, oral chewy meds, and pills; whether they’re hidden in a treat or given directly. I stay calm and patient to make the process as stress-free as possible. I’m comfortable managing multiple pets and giving each one the attention and care they need. I treat your home with the same respect and care I give to your pet: clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. I provide regular updates with messages & photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands & know everything is going smoothly while you’re away.

About: I was raised in a positive pet friendly family environment and had my own dogs and cats for more than twenty years. I can handle large, medium, and small dogs and will look to give them long walks and lots of exercise as a good dog is a tired dog. I work full-time but have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to feed, walk, play fetch, or just hang out with your dog. I am happy to come to your home and walk your dog and or play at a local dog park, I am familiar with dogs from Yorkshire Terriers and Kings Charles Spaniels to Rottweilers and German Shepards.

Our dog Tonto is hind leg paralyzed and needs special care, so when we were planning our recent vacation we needed someone to watch him that was comfortable doing expressions (both bladder and anal) as well as giving him his daily medications. “Cristian went above and beyond to make sure i felt 100% comfortable while i was boarding my pit mix Nala for 11 days for the first time. Nala even sadly got a pretty severe UTI during her stay and Cristian was so on top of it with photos, concern, and ended up even taking her to the vet for me and getting the care she needed. Even with a 6hr time change he managed to keep up with great communication and updates throughout the stay. I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience.
