Zena was well cared for, had her own clean room to roam in and a large hard to play in all this helped reduce my anxiety about leaving her. About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.

She is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of dog care and was great at watching both a giant hyperactive puppy and my older more mellow girl who needs regular medications. She sent so many updates and pictures during their stay so I always felt informed and up to date on their day! Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! Both my pups were so happy looking in all their pics and were excited on pick up-I could tell they had a great time! About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for cats. I have four cats of my own, all of which I've had since they were kittens, all with very differing personalities. I also very regularly cat-sit because many of my friends and family own cats (from kittens to seniors) and know they can rely on me to care for their furry family members. I’m very familiar with how different cats have different behaviors, habits, routines, and comfort levels. I’m patient and attentive and understand the importance of letting cats adjust at their own pace while still giving them plenty of love and attention. About: I have had many dogs over the years and have trained and cared for all ages and stages. I have experience with reactive dogs, resource guarding, post surgery care, wound care, and medication. I have medic training and am not squeamish when it comes to wounds or illnesses. Public meet ups take place at Ryder park in Dewitt or Canal Landing in Fayetteville. When requesting please provide date and times you are free to meet. I do not offer tours of my home. After a public meet up I can arrange a tour of the yard if needed. This is for safety of dogs and people. Taking a break from the 9-5 job and staying home hanging with the dogs. Have availability to take on a few more dogs due to the passing of my current clients pets. Dogs are unique with their own needs and boundaries. I have a fully fenced back yard that dogs can access using a doggy door. Each dog (or family if siblings want to be together) are booked into their own room that is set up for their specific needs. The dogs gets to decompress and given whatever space they need to be happy and relaxed. I have crates of every size if the dog needs one. I do not crate unless there is a safety concern. Dogs have free reign of the house and yard as long as I am home. If I am not home the dogs are in their rooms which are video monitored (maximum of ~4 hours). The rooms are closed off with gates so dogs have open view of hallways. I use TV or music to create background noise. Dogs do not interact without supervision and any dog introduction is done slowly and never forced. The house is large enough that should a conflict arise the dogs can be placed in separate levels of the house and not interact. When dogs stay with me I see them as my dogs and treat them as family.

I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

This is the first real off leash (fenced in yard) play she's had with a dog closer to her size and she loved it. About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work Monday through Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I am fully available all other days and am happy to stay at your house on the days I go to work as well. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. From 30 minute - 1 hour walks and visits to longer term care, I’d be thrilled to keep your dog happy when you are away. I’d say I’m quite receptive to dog personalities and can provide pets, cuddles, scratches, walks, dances, etc. Maybe your dog isn’t into cuddling and playing around — that’s okay too. I respect that and will keep a healthy distance. We will walk. We may talk. I can send you quality candid photos and even possibly montage video of our time together with my filmmaking background and skills. I can promise safe and exciting play sessions of any length.
About: I have never taken care of pets professionally, but I have had pets in my house since I was a baby. My first pet was a rabbit. I have had dogs, cats, fish, mice, hamster and a rat. I currently have a dog and 2 cats that are rescues. I am a stay at home mom. My daughter is in Pre-K and is home Tuesday and Thursday, so she comes with me on Rover jobs. She’s been doing this since she was born and loves it. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats, if you just need someone to let them out to use the bathroom, take them on a walk, or just let them stretch and play, I’m the person for the job
About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. I typically hike local parks and would love to take your best friend for a walk while I get exercise myself. I am currently walking in parks daily and would love to walk your dog while I’m getting exercise. I can provide 30 minute or hour long walks in your neighborhood or a nearby park. I typically spend more time with a dog than the typical owner. I love dogs immensely and give them my full attention when house sitting.
About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! Zena was triggered by the fireworks, Sam communicated everyday with me about helping Zena to regulate her emotions, she helped soothe her, provide Zena with the space she needed to calm down. Zena was well cared for, had her own clean room to roam in and a large hard to play in all this helped reduce my anxiety about leaving her. She is obviously incredibly knowledgeable about all sorts of dog care and was great at watching both a giant hyperactive puppy and my older more mellow girl who needs regular medications. She sent so many updates and pictures during their stay so I always felt informed and up to date on their day! Ashley was so respectful of my wishes with them and made sure to check with me about treats, bath products, and extra activities. She took my one dog running with her regularly, which he loves, and gave my lazy cuddle bug lots of snuggles and couch time! The dogs clearly got so much love from her entire family and I felt so assured that they were in capable and loving hands! Ashley asked questions when she had them and followed my feeding and medication instructions to a T! She was also so sensitive about making sure both dogs felt comfortable and making sure they were in a safe and secure environment on their terms! Both my pups were so happy looking in all their pics and were excited on pick up-I could tell they had a great time! I’m no stranger to dog sitters and doggie daycare and honestly, Ashley is one of the best I’ve found so far and I can’t wait for my pack to spend time with Ashley and her wonderful family again!
