About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! About: I've had pets in my life since the day I was born, and as a teen I spent several years working in an animal shelter, caring for animals and working with the health team. I'm experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with behavioral challenges, and visually impaired and deaf animals. I've also cared for dogs with serious health needs like cancer and diabetes. I'm not a vet or vet tech, but I'm comfortable with basic care like changing a bandage, and I know how to respond in an emergency and reach the nearest emergency care. I've boarded dogs over 100 pounds, and they do great with my dog Leo, a 16 pound Jack Russell dachshund mix who has graduated from obedience and agility courses about five times. I also sit cats, birds, small critters, and reptiles. For dogs, I like to start with a neutral meet and greet, so I ask for two weeks notice, though I'm flexible in emergencies. If you'd like, I can also arrange grooming and specialized training as an additional service while your pet is in my care, provided through a licensed groomer and trainer. Your pet will be treated like family. I work from home, so I offer daytime care during work hours as well as overnight boarding while you travel. Your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time and extra TLC when needed. All pet care happens in my home on a quiet street in the Village of Manchester. I work remotely, so your pet is never left alone for long. Dogs get lots of one-on-one time, and I'm happy to send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I start with a neutral meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along with my dog Leo. I have a large backyard with natural tree lines and barriers, but safety comes first. Any dog in my care stays on a leash or tie out whenever they're outside, with no exceptions, even if a yard is fenced. Cats get a quiet room behind closed doors, separate from my own cats, and can stay in their crate, come out, or sit with me in my office. About: I have 4 years of veterinary care experience along with 2 years of pet boarding experience. I own and care for several of my own animals as well! I am currently available for afternoon visits and care on week days. I have full availability on the weekends for any needs! I can also do midday pop in’s depending on location! About: I have taken care of small and large breeds of dogs since the young age of seven. As soon as I was able to as an adult I rescued a dog and a cat because no home is complete without the pitter-patter of furry feet. My pets are more than pets, they're family, and yours will be treated just the same when they're in my care. I have a beagle/poodle mix that is two years old that loves to have friends to play with. He sleeps in the bed, but if you prefer your doggie to be crated I can do that too. Once my grandparents retired my mom opened a shop in 2006 and I joined as her certified bather and brusher in 2012. We have had our business ever since.. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.

“After meeting Mariana, initially we knew we wanted to hire her to help us both in the care of our dog and behavior training to help eliminate some bad habits that were formed as a puppy before he got any older. We knew what needed correcting, but we were struggling to employ specific strategies that would actually help us enjoy our dog more normally. His fearful and bossy ways were confusing to us because he was often a very loving dog and his behaviors seemed contradictory. Upon meeting Mariana and going on this training walk, I was able to watch how she interacted with Sparrow and see very quickly that she was reading his very subtle body language and redirecting or correcting his behaviors before they escalated. Actually understanding WHAT Sparrow was expressing was a game-changer. We left the walk feeling that it might take some work, but understanding animal behavior is crucial to correcting it and it gave us the confidence to feel we could indeed improve Sparrow's manners and eliminate his bad habits. Mariana was very loving to Sparrow and was very good at teaching us what she knows. She displays a genuine sense of gentle compassion towards animals and people, but she also has a firm confidence and a wealth of knowledge about animals!”
About: The last few years I've provided an array of services for dog sitting, walking, weekly stays and occasionally drop in visits. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I've taken care of an array of animals since I was a kid from hamsters to dogs to little frogs! I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. I am flexible so just let me know of anything and I can adapt!

Since I was young, I could always connect with other people’s pets, many times they would say wow he/she never let’s anyone do that etc. I often feel that I connect better with animals than with people.” I work at a kennel in auburn ny from 8am to 10am in the morning and evening from 4-5:30 but before and after that I try to fill in my time as much as possible seeing and taking care of as many animals as possible I have my own cat Anya but as far as taking care of your animals it would have to be at your place of residence. I offer walking, sitting, overnights, feeding etc. I don’t board any more pets at my residence.

About: I always loved having pets growing up. I grew up in the country so we had a lot of space for animals to be able to run around and be outside. Dogs, cats, birds...practically every creature you can imagine. Currently I have a cat of my own, and a friend’s dog who I watch fairly regularly. About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. About: I've had pets in my life since the day I was born, and as a teen I spent several years working in an animal shelter, caring for animals and working with the health team. I'm experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with behavioral challenges, and visually impaired and deaf animals. I've also cared for dogs with serious health needs like cancer and diabetes. I'm not a vet or vet tech, but I'm comfortable with basic care like changing a bandage, and I know how to respond in an emergency and reach the nearest emergency care. I've boarded dogs over 100 pounds, and they do great with my dog Leo, a 16 pound Jack Russell dachshund mix who has graduated from obedience and agility courses about five times. I also sit cats, birds, small critters, and reptiles. For dogs, I like to start with a neutral meet and greet, so I ask for two weeks notice, though I'm flexible in emergencies. If you'd like, I can also arrange grooming and specialized training as an additional service while your pet is in my care, provided through a licensed groomer and trainer. Your pet will be treated like family. I work from home, so I offer daytime care during work hours as well as overnight boarding while you travel. Your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time and extra TLC when needed. All pet care happens in my home on a quiet street in the Village of Manchester. I work remotely, so your pet is never left alone for long. Dogs get lots of one-on-one time, and I'm happy to send updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
