About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life. My current cat is a sassy senior tortie named Queen. I'm well versed in reading body language through ears and tail. I have lots of experience with senior cats with health conditions; managing pet prescriptions and special diets. I'm comfortable administering medications if needed. In the past, I’ve taken care of my parent's diabetic asthmatic cat by giving her insulin injections daily as well as using an inhaler on her. Animal rescue is my biggest passion! When I was growing up, my mother fostered many cats and kittens for the SPCA. That is where my love of cats began; helping mom take care of the fosters as a young child. “Destiny saved me last minute when my regular boarder was booked. She was very responsive, professional and thorough. My golden retriever, Simba was well taken care of in her home, instead of in a kennel at the overpriced “fancy” boarder in Ithaca. She sent me updates and pics daily and answered all of my texts within minutes! When my arrival time changed last minute, she was flexible and understanding. I will be using Destiny in the future and recommending her to other dog parents that I know!”

“I am fully comfortable leaving Marley with Andrea. During her stay, Marley had some stomach issues, and Andrea kept me updated the entire time. Sometimes after staying with a sitter, Marley can be a bit clingy. You would not know I was gone with how relaxed she was when I returned. I highly recommend Andrea!”
“Jessica and Eric are wonderful hosts for our dogs. We have been lucky enough to have used their hospitality twice now and our dogs love being with them. They get plenty of exercise, attention and love from their family. Our oldest dog doesn’t come home with the anxiety she gets while being at a dog kennel which is great.
