She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. About: I have grown up with several dogs and cats that I have taken care of. My dad is also a dog trainer, so I often go out on walks and play with the dogs he cares for. I am very active, so your pets will never be bored! My schedule varies biweekly, so I am home every other week. The weeks I am off i have lots of free time, so I can be very flexible. The weeks I do have to work, I work nights, so I can be free during the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. I live without children, so your pets will be my priority. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in! I do own two cats and share my mom’s small dog part time, so i prefer pets that are friendly with other animals! If your pet needs to be crated I can accommodate that, but I also allow pets on furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to at home. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate most things to make your pets feel comfortable.

About: I love animals and have been caring for pets for over 10 years! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies, cats, and very young kittens. I have worked with many breeds, ages, and personalities. I have also worked with different feeding and walking routines, given medications, and even changed dog diapers. I can easily adapt to any pets needs! I just graduated college and have a largely open schedule at the moment. I can pop in almost any time of day and am usually open to last minute visits if they fit into my schedule! I prefer week day visits but can make weekends work too if necessary. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. Kelly was so caring and wanted to know of any food restrictions and special care instructions during our dog’s stay. About: I grew up with all different kinds of animals as a child, and I had my own dog, which was a Yorkie. I know how to take care of dogs with disabilities and extreme anxiety as I dealt with that with my own dog. I genuinely love all dogs and I can’t wait to be able to have one of my own but for now dog sitting/dog boarding is just what fits with my life. I recently helped take care of a 6 month old puppy in the city even helping with training. I also took care of my roommates 2 Australian shepherds this summer (1 of them does not do well with other dogs at all) and so I had to be extremely careful when taking them on walks/keeping tight hold on the leash. I work from home every day of the week and I have pretty flexible hours and ample time to take care/walk dogs. I would love to have a dog in my own butt unfortunately, New York City is expensive and I thought this was a great way to interact with dogs without having to own one myself. I live right next to a park which I can take the dogs to multiple times per day. I’m also a morning person and love to go for runs and walks before work and if I have a dog staying with me, I would be more than happy to bring them with me.

I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.

I have a fenced yard with a very friendly pup at home. I can also let your pet in and out of crates, give treats and/or medications, take them on walks, and anything else they may need.
About: Animals are too good for humankind, so they should be treated like absolute royalty. I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. I am more than happy to treat your pet as if they were my own <3 I currently work full time in Lake George and I'm looking for some additional income, and what better way to do that than to care for your pets! To make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you are away, I would love to learn their typical routine at home and their interests!

About: I have been taking care of my personal pets and assisting family with theirs since I was about 12. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs(everything from feeding and bathing to grooming and administering medication, I don’t do nails though), but I can also take care of basic needs for birds such as feeding/water and cleaning cages. I currently do gig work so I have as much time as I need or you want to take care of your pets and make sure they get some love! Your home your rules! About: I have donated many hours going to my local dog shealter and dealing with many different types of dogs. Learning each of their personalities was one of my favorite things about going there. I then ended up adopting one myself! I have just graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh and still am unsure of my next move in life. I have such a strong passion for animals and love spending time with them and also doing what is necessary to make their lives better. I have a big back yard with no neighboring dogs, this allows for my one dog to have the best time back there. I have a 30 ft leash and balls are provided!
About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 12 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I have been doing walks and drop ins for 2 years now and have references available upon request! I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.

“Leaving Bounce with Julia while visiting Saratoga Springs was our first experience with Rover. Julia exuded warmth, competency and friendliness in all her online and in-person communications. Our dog can be hard to read: He has incredible bursts of energy, yet sleeps a lot. He loves other dogs, but in some instances becomes fearful of them. Julia assured us she would gauge his mood and decide to crate him or send him off for some group dog play, which is what resulted (dog play). When she drove him back to our hotel, he did not want to leave her car. So, that proved that all the good things we saw in Julia came true. Thank you for taking such care of our beloved Bounce!
