“Our first daycare visit with Jeffrey was an amazing success for our nervous, shy Meeka. Showing my wife and I around his farm to make us and Meeka feel comfortable, it was obvious to us that he loves and respects animals. Leaving his driveway, my wife saw Jeffrey kneeling in front of our dog trying to communicate. Instead of talking down he put himself on her level. During the entire day, Jeffrey gave us updates on her stay, sending lots of funny pictures of our dog while he took her for a run and played with her. Also, it should be noted that our dog was kept separate from the other couple of dogs he had under his watch, just to get her comfortable. When we picked Meeka up at the end of the day, she was very relaxed and did not show any anxiety or stress. During visits at other places she always showed signs of those emotions when we picked her up. From now on, this is the first home we will try to place her when we have to leave for a couple of days.”

She sent pictures and updates each day to let me know how he was doing and that really put my mind at ease since I’ve never used Rover or left Munchkin with anyone outside of family before. Munchkin is a cavapoo, so his fur can get tangled pretty easily as well but Carol brushed him every day and he came home tangle-free which really shows the care she puts into the dogs she boards. She made sure he was well cared for and loved, and I 100% recommend her for anyone wanting to board their dog and will definitely book with her in the future. She even had me fill out additional info regarding Munchkin just so she knew more about him and the best way to care for him while I was away. About: I've had pets in my life since the day I was born, and as a teen I spent several years working in an animal shelter, caring for animals and working with the health team. I'm experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with behavioral challenges, and visually impaired and deaf animals. I've also cared for dogs with serious health needs like cancer and diabetes. I'm not a vet or vet tech, but I'm comfortable with basic care like changing a bandage, and I know how to respond in an emergency and reach the nearest emergency care. I've boarded dogs over 100 pounds, and they do great with my dog Leo, a 16 pound Jack Russell dachshund mix who has graduated from obedience and agility courses about five times. I also sit cats, birds, small critters, and reptiles. For dogs, I like to start with a neutral meet and greet, so I ask for two weeks notice, though I'm flexible in emergencies. If you'd like, I can also arrange grooming and specialized training as an additional service while your pet is in my care, provided through a licensed groomer and trainer. Your pet will be treated like family. I work from home, so I offer daytime care during work hours as well as overnight boarding while you travel. Your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time and extra TLC when needed. All pet care happens in my home on a quiet street in the Village of Manchester. I work remotely, so your pet is never left alone for long. Dogs get lots of one-on-one time, and I'm happy to send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I start with a neutral meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along with my dog Leo. I have a large backyard with natural tree lines and barriers, but safety comes first. Any dog in my care stays on a leash or tie out whenever they're outside, with no exceptions, even if a yard is fenced. I'm happy to take short walks into the yard, and if your pet prefers pet pads, I can provide those. Cats get a quiet room behind closed doors, separate from my own cats, and can stay in their crate, come out, or sit with me in my office. I know how to respond in an emergency and how to reach the nearest emergency care.

About: I have taken care of small and large breeds of dogs since the young age of seven. As soon as I was able to as an adult I rescued a dog and a cat because no home is complete without the pitter-patter of furry feet. “Our first daycare visit with Jeffrey was an amazing success for our nervous, shy Meeka. Showing my wife and I around his farm to make us and Meeka feel comfortable, it was obvious to us that he loves and respects animals. Leaving his driveway, my wife saw Jeffrey kneeling in front of our dog trying to communicate. Instead of talking down he put himself on her level. During the entire day, Jeffrey gave us updates on her stay, sending lots of funny pictures of our dog while he took her for a run and played with her. Also, it should be noted that our dog was kept separate from the other couple of dogs he had under his watch, just to get her comfortable. When we picked Meeka up at the end of the day, she was very relaxed and did not show any anxiety or stress. During visits at other places she always showed signs of those emotions when we picked her up. From now on, this is the first home we will try to place her when we have to leave for a couple of days.”

About: I've had pets in my life since the day I was born, and as a teen I spent several years working in an animal shelter, caring for animals and working with the health team. I'm experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with behavioral challenges, and visually impaired and deaf animals. I've also cared for dogs with serious health needs like cancer and diabetes. I'm not a vet or vet tech, but I'm comfortable with basic care like changing a bandage, and I know how to respond in an emergency and reach the nearest emergency care. I've boarded dogs over 100 pounds, and they do great with my dog Leo, a 16 pound Jack Russell dachshund mix who has graduated from obedience and agility courses about five times. I also sit cats, birds, small critters, and reptiles. For dogs, I like to start with a neutral meet and greet, so I ask for two weeks notice, though I'm flexible in emergencies. If you'd like, I can also arrange grooming and specialized training as an additional service while your pet is in my care, provided through a licensed groomer and trainer. Your pet will be treated like family. I work from home, so I offer daytime care during work hours as well as overnight boarding while you travel. Your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time and extra TLC when needed. All pet care happens in my home on a quiet street in the Village of Manchester. I work remotely, so your pet is never left alone for long. Dogs get lots of one-on-one time, and I'm happy to send updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I start with a neutral meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along with my dog Leo. I have a large backyard with natural tree lines and barriers, but safety comes first. Any dog in my care stays on a leash or tie out whenever they're outside, with no exceptions, even if a yard is fenced. I'm happy to take short walks into the yard, and if your pet prefers pet pads, I can provide those. Cats get a quiet room behind closed doors, separate from my own cats, and can stay in their crate, come out, or sit with me in my office. I know how to respond in an emergency and how to reach the nearest emergency care.
About: I have 4 years of veterinary care experience along with 2 years of pet boarding experience. I own and care for several of my own animals as well! I am currently available for afternoon visits and care on week days. I have full availability on the weekends for any needs! I can also do midday pop in’s depending on location! I have 1 very friendly dog who does amazing with other animals but if your pet isn’t a fan I always have another safe space for them. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard therefore your pet will always be leashed for their safety. I will ensure we do lots of walks and playing to get their exercise!
