One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). About: I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . Barbara agreed to come out twice a day to take care of Cassidy and she has been the most dependable, caring, and compassionate person to my beloved dog. She was so patient with Cassidy, she was going through a big adjustment with the loss of my mom. Barbara truly spent a lot of time establishing a bond with her and slowly they have developed a nice routine of playing in the backyard. They relax in the sun, play ball and with all her toys. I am very thankful to Barbara for the dependability, her caring nature and the smile on my dog each day I come home let’s me know I chose the right service and the perfect person to care after my dog. About: People have called me the "dog-whisperer", but I have an affinity with animals of all kinds. I have had several happy and sometimes spoiled dogs and cats of my own throughout my life, I am also the only person I know who never lost their hamster as a child. I love going on long walks and hikes, I even once had a cat who liked to go on walks with me. Dogs I have cared for in the past, have been known to miss me after they went home and were excited to see me again the next time. I am almost always available, very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged companion on a walk or a nice long hike. I am a full time student. My availability is generally open in the afternoon and evenings during the week, with full availability on the weekend. I like to follow instructions so a list is handy, I can take your pets on walks or hikes, and im very good at keepimg animals company and entertained.
About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well.

“We left our two small dogs with Alex for a three day weekend. This is the first time our dogs have not been with us and without any exaggeration, we could not have hoped for a better experience! One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”
