“We left our two small dogs with Alex for a three day weekend. This is the first time our dogs have not been with us and without any exaggeration, we could not have hoped for a better experience! One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

Though our dog did not have any seizures while we were away, I was nervous finding someone who is attentive to those specific needs. Ada and Micheli provided daily pictures and updates during her stay, including an occasional photo of giving our dog her medications. It provided a peace of mind. “Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

About: Love to give dogs lots of attention and affection. Coupled with the ability to be stern if needed, I am able to take care of many types of dogs. I live an active life and will have no problem walking your dog as much as needed. I spent many years training and caring for our family dog. I have lived with roommates with dogs and had no issues caring for them even when the roommate was not away. While living with a roommate, they had their own rover account and I would help take care of any dog that would come over. About: I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

Mark was accommodating with pickup and drop off times and communicated during the day with pictures and notes. I had no stress about Gus being in good hands. Now from Gus. I am a pandemic pup—totally attached to my empty nester parents (though I really do love everyone.) I loved going to Mark’s house—hopped right out of my mom’s car and ran up to his gate. We went on walks and I got to be pals with his dogs. We played and played and I was so tired when my mom picked me up. About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.
“We are new to the area and didn't know anyone who could watch our dogs for the day while we moved from our rental into our new house, so using Rover was an obvious choice. We needed someone to pick up our two dogs early at the rental and drop them off late at the new house and Adriana agreed to both. Even when I contacted her to ask if she could keep them a little longer since the move wasn't complete, she agreed to do so without any additional fees. She didn't even complain when one of the dogs threw up in her car and defecated in her home. (Sorry about that!) I would definitely call on Adriana again if the need arises.”

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well.

About: People have called me the "dog-whisperer", but I have an affinity with animals of all kinds. I have had several happy and sometimes spoiled dogs and cats of my own throughout my life, I am also the only person I know who never lost their hamster as a child. I love going on long walks and hikes, I even once had a cat who liked to go on walks with me. I am almost always available, very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged companion on a walk or a nice long hike. I am a full time student. My availability is generally open in the afternoon and evenings during the week, with full availability on the weekend. I like to follow instructions so a list is handy, I can take your pets on walks or hikes, and im very good at keepimg animals company and entertained.

They provided me with amazing communication including pictures, and text messages letting me how well Enzo was settling in. They were also sitting for other furry friends and was very communicative in letting me know how Enzo was interacting with the other dogs and the adjustments made if necessary. Will absolutely be back whenever the next trip arises.”

“We left our two small dogs with Alex for a three day weekend. This is the first time our dogs have not been with us and without any exaggeration, we could not have hoped for a better experience! One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”
