About: I have taken care of dogs from as small as a chihuahua to as big as a Great Dane! I have also have experience with older dogs who might need medication or a different routine than younger dogs. My top priority is to take care of your loved one as if it was my own. As a college student, my summertime schedule is very open. I am able to do dog walks, house sitting, and drop ins at times as needed. Let me know if there are any special needs, meds, diet /directions i needed to follow in caring for your pet. I have given oral and injection meds to my own pets and is comfortable doing so. If there is a special routine that you have with your fur baby and would like to keep going while in my care feel free to make me aware of it to make the stay comfortable for them also. I do have running cord for my pets so they can move freely round the yard with supervision. I also live near a dog park so daily walks are available. About: I have owned kitties in the past at a very young age, however my first real kitty I have had for almost a year now. He is deaf, harness trained, and very loud. He has taught me a lot, and probably has given me one of the best experiences I have had with an animal. Kitties hold a soft spot in me, even the mean ones. About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. “Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. I have a fenced in yard and other dogs in the house to keep your pets company, I can easily cage or separate your pets if needed.
About: I’ve always had animals my entire life of all sorts and prefer their company. Naturally animals are comfortable in my presence. I am basically Snow White. Pet care is a regular part of my routine that I could easily adapt to your requirements. I work a few hour during the week for a few days and have plenty of time to accommodate your needs. I have fenced yard if necessary for run time. But I can make time to visit the home of your pets for their comfort ability.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. My current furry companion is a 5 year old Golden Retriever and two cats. I have cared for family pets and take in friends animals for short and long term. I’m currently on summer break from working in the schools, so I am very flexible schedule-wise. I live in the country and have lots of space to walk pets and enjoy the outdoors. My pets are sociable and love other people and animals. We can enjoy the outdoors, snuggle up inside, and just enjoy furry family members. Looking forward to quality time and more pets to love.
