He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. We have a 4 year old boxer/hound mix who is sweet with people but not great with other dogs. We keep him away from guest dogs, there's lots of room in the house for each dog to have their own space and still get lots of love from me and the family. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I take breaks through the day to care for puppies, whether that's a quick potty break, fun walk, or play time with balls and toys. We want your dog to enjoy all aspects of our home, but if they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious and need some alone time we have a room for them. I set my office up with a little couch and a dog bed and it’s perfect for a little alone time if they need it.
About: I grew up in a household full of animals and have been pet sitting for neighbors for as long as I have been old enough. I've had dogs, guinea pigs, a rabbit, chickens and numerous other small creatures who I have loved over the years. My profile picture is of my parent's golden doodle! About: I have had Pets my entire life and have taken care of them since I can remember. I take care of family friends Dogs and Cats. I’ve house sitter for them and taken their dogs for walks for years. I love treating each pet with the same level of love they would get from their owners since they aren’t there. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.
