“Samantha and her partner Zachary took fabulous care of our two dogs for three days. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs? While I pursue this, I also work full time in an animal emergency clinic. I have had 2+ years of animal emergency experience, including large dogs and cats, and even reptiles like snakes! I am comfortable pilling animals and have direct access to emergency care 24/7 in case your fur babies need it❤️. I currently own 2 cats of my own and a ball python. I’ve owned large dogs my whole life including a Cane Corso & Giant Schnauzer! I currently work full time in the animal emergency clinic. My schedule is Tuesday 11a-11p - Friday 7a-7p - Saturday 1p-1a and I do pick up shifts here and there. With this being said, I can come by before and/or after my shifts. Our schedules are generally wide open and one of us is always home, so we’d prefer you’d be hours late where we know as soon as you do, versus 15-20 minutes behind schedule without our awareness. This keeps our anticipation & transition windows short so everyone can have as much freedom as our space allows. Our phones are always on and active, so we’re never difficult to reach. About: I love animals and always want to be around them. I live alone at home and have 1 dog who gets along with other dogs. I grew up with 2 dogs and am very familiar with taking care of them. I also grew up with cats and love cats. I have been taking care of my friends’ dogs - one was a 17 year old dog with medications. So i am familiar with giving animals medicines. I just lost my beloved beagle 2 months ago age 16 and miss her! I can have pets stay over my place or I can stay over their places. Basically, I love all animals and will make sure they have fun and stay comfortable! I work part-time and am home most of time during the weekday. I work Mondays and some Wednesdays from 3:30-6pm and Tuesdays from 11:30am-4pm and am free on Fridays. One side of my home has fence. I live near beach and bike trail and Ethan Allen park. Plenty of places to take dogs out for walk.
About: We have had dogs in the house since I was three years old and we were all responsible for caring for them. I’ve seen dogs through the puppy and training stage to the old age medication and care stage. My dogs were big Labradors, and I dog sat for many people with medium and small dogs at all stages of their lives. There’s not much your dog could throw at me that I wouldn’t handle with confidence and experience! I am currently attending an acting conservatory, the only days that that takes up my whole day are Thursdays and Friday's. Mondays and Tuesdays I’m free after 2, and Wednesdays I am free until 1! Weekends my schedule is wide open and I can work any time, and I am available every night of the week for overnights! With all the animals that have gone through my home growing up I know every pet is different. I follow the owners lead when it comes to how to care for them and never try to push my personal pet care habits on anyone. Everyone has a different relationship with their pet and I am here to respect and emulate that as best I can when you have to be away from your best friend! You and your pet are the boss!
About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and gained a lot of experience caring for my own family pets, then started pet sitting and working with horses as a teenager. After spending most of young adult life working with horses, I went back to college to get a degree that would allow me to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I worked in companion animal (dogs and cats) practice for a number of years before taking a "real" job that allowed me more time for my own pets. I've found I love my new job and schedule, but miss having as much animal interaction. I'd be delighted to provide care for your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs (and other pocket pets) as well as horses and other large animals.
About: I grew up taking care of dogs since I was a child and treat them like family. I'm not able to have a pet at my current apartment so I'm looking to share my love, care, and affection with your fur babies while you feel comfortable and secure knowing they are with a sitter that genuinely cares about them and their well being. My schedule is rather flexible at this time in my life due to changes. I am looking for clients mostly in the Guilderland/ Colonie area due to certain transportation restrictions, but I am mobile locally. I am exceptionally good at reading body language on animals. I am also a firm believer of not forcing physical attention on animals if they are not comfortable. All it takes is a little time and kindness for them to come around to you.

They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs?
