We were worried about how she would do staying with a family with young kids. Meghan & Sean listed to our worries and helped up brainstorm ways to put our dog at ease. And it worked like a charm! We were so grateful to the extra time Meghan & Sean spent to make both the humans and the doggo feel positive about the plan. We loved getting pics of the crew on their daily walks. It was also really really REALLY nice to see how much love Meghan and fam have for all animals, and how positive they were about our sometimes tricky dog. Our dog had a great week and we will definitely return to Meghan & Sean for future doggy needs, whether it is another week or a shorter visit. Highly recommend, zero notes!”

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I usually respond after 5pm. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

I have had puppies to old dogs that have all live long happy healthy lives. I am currently a student at the culinary institute of America, I am Available every morning for walks and care. My dog, Zeke and I had a companion kind of relationship, built on mutual respect and happiness; it's something I wouldn't have traded for the world. He sadly passed away in October 2025 after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds) are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. You and I will decide together on location details, and this app will track where your pup(s) and I are at all times. Wilderness First Aid trained, canine safety versed, ample water provided, and pups will always be kept safely on the leash. “Abigail was the perfect cat sitter. I was so nervous leaving my cats for so long but it turns out, I didn't have to worry at all. She came for a meet and greet, learned all their names, and followed every instruction during the entire two week period. I needed twice a day drop ins for one hour each. She stayed for the entire hour, played with the cats, fed them, pet them, cleaned food bowls, replaced water bowls and cleaned their litter. She took pictures of them every time and by the end, my cats were so comfortable with her. I would hundred percent recommend her if you want a sweet, caring sitter who you can rely on.”

About: I absolutely love animals. I have been helping friends and neighbors with watching their pets for years. I currently have two dogs myself, one with complicated medical needs. I am confident I would be able to care for your pets no matter their age. I currently work from home 2-3 days per week and am available most weekends. I currently have two dogs ourself and their needs are part of my daily life. I have a fenced in backyard. I live in a dead-end street near the rail trail so walks are a breeze and do not have me near any main roads. I do have two Pomeranians to keep your pets company while with us. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

About: I'll provide constant supervision of your pet. I enjoy interacting with animals. Although I am not a professional dog handler I have had a dog in the house for the past 12 years. I will do my best to provide competent care for your pet. I am currently retired from the Columbia County jail, after completing 23 years. I am a Navy veteran. About: I have always had a special relationship to animals that is mutually beneficial. I not only bring an infinite amount of love to their lives but they return such energy. I find so much pleasure in forming bonds with animals, even for short periods of time. I love to volunteer and have done so at local SPCAs and even at a zoo in Peru that held practically every type of animal! I myself have owned many cats, raising two since they were kittens. I grew up around dogs as well and they grew to be my best friends through hard times. I even owned a pig and chickens! I am open to any requests you might have and am great at keeping in touch with pet parents. I can always be available through text, call, or email. I’m so excited to meet you and your lovely pets!! I have a full time job, so weekends are my only availability. However, I am open to discuss any special circumstances! I might potentially be more available on a long weekend, when I am off from my school based job. I would want to care for your pets as you would or how you would want. I am great with a schedule and specific requests.
About: I’m a pre-vet major with a love for all animals, especially dogs! I’m 19 years old, a full time student, and have 5 years of dogsitting and dog walking experience! I have a soft spot for older dogs, as well as experience caring for young litters of pups! I walk some of my clients’ dogs in their own backyard trails, and a few I transport to local parks for our walks. I love all of my clients dogs like they’re my own, and take special care to encourage their interests, and adapt our time together to fit their personality and needs! I have 6 repeat clients that I’ve met through rover, and treasure the time that I spend with their pets. The reoccurring clients I’ve had for 8 months have become a staple in my life, and a regular in my routine. It’s so special to be the part of the week that a dog looks forward to!! Booking a few weeks in advance is a good way to ensure I’m able to work around YOUR schedule! I take pride in caring for your pets like they are my own! “We had SUCH a wonderful experience with Meghan & Sean—and so did our pup! Our 3yo dog is nervous around new people and can be reactive. We were worried about how she would do staying with a family with young kids. Meghan & Sean listed to our worries and helped up brainstorm ways to put our dog at ease. And it worked like a charm! We were so grateful to the extra time Meghan & Sean spent to make both the humans and the doggo feel positive about the plan. We loved getting pics of the crew on their daily walks. It was also really really REALLY nice to see how much love Meghan and fam have for all animals, and how positive they were about our sometimes tricky dog. Our dog had a great week and we will definitely return to Meghan & Sean for future doggy needs, whether it is another week or a shorter visit. Highly recommend, zero notes!”

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I usually respond after 5pm. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
