We were very anxious but Kathy and Tim put us at ease right away by sending photos and describing her activities. They treated her like a special guest. She loved sleeping on their couch and exploring their large back yard. Our dog can be stubborn, but they really paid attention to her needs and figured out how to get her outside on a hot day. This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions. We will absolutely be using Arya again for boarding, and are also considering training classes!!! Thanks again Arya!!! Nika had fun ?”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. Having a Frenchie has taught me how to care for dogs with sensitive stomachs, skin allergies, and special needs. I cook fresh, balanced meals with real protein and veggies for every meal, and I treat every pup like my own—gentle, patient, and a little spoiled. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or home-cooked meals, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. Every pup has their own cozy, comfortable space to relax, and I can easily follow any feeding or medication instructions. About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!

About: I’ve had experience both in personal and professional dog care. Having multiple pets including dogs my whole life has gotten me experience in every aspect of dog care. I am available until August 22nd before leaving for college. I will be back for winter break in December and January and spring break in April. I am available to do daily pet drop-ins at your home including letting them outside, feeding and watering, etc. I can also stay overnight.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.
