They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. “Sheronda was absolutely phenomenal! She cared for my two dogs and my cat for almost two weeks while I refinished the hardwood floors in my home, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She was incredibly attentive and sensitive to each animal’s individual needs, including my cat’s shyness around new people. She even helped one of my dogs become more comfortable socializing with other dogs. Sheronda’s home is wonderfully set up for pets. She has a huge backyard with plenty of room for the dogs to run and play, and the dogs don’t need to be crated. She thoughtfully uses baby gates to safely separate them when necessary, and she even welcomes them to lounge on her furniture, so they truly feel at home. Throughout their stay, Sheronda sent me daily updates, photos, and even videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I always felt that my animals were safe, happy, and in excellent hands. About: Seventeen years of feeding and caring for pets from bunnies to dogs, cats, cows, pigs, and chickens. Have taken care of a variety of breeds, behaviors, and ages. I am available many of hours of the day during the week and weekend. I will not accept a job that I cannot reasonably provide care for the pet. About: I love animals and always want to be around them. I live alone at home and have 1 dog who gets along with other dogs. I grew up with 2 dogs and am very familiar with taking care of them. I just lost my beloved beagle 2 months ago age 16 and miss her! I can have pets stay over my place or I can stay over their places. About: I’ve pet sit for multiple dogs, and my pup loves having friends. I telecommute and minimize my time out of the house on petsitting days. About: Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a lifelong dog-lover and I just go gaga for descendents of wolves of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My mother actually says that my first word as a baby was "dog", so I think it is simply fate that I am here today. I grew up with a magical Golden Retriever named Chessie and a spunky wire-haired Dachshund named Emma. I loved playing fetch with Chessie in the backyard, grooming Emma and trying to tame her spikey fur, and walking them together all around my hometown. As an adult, friends and family trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their dogs. And later, I was lucky enough to adopt a very special 7-year old mini-Australian Shepherd named Lexi who had been surrendered by her previous owner. Lexi had intense separation anxiety and some health issues with her kidneys, so after all that she had been through, it was so wonderful and rewarding to love and care for Lexi and watch her regain her confidence and trust in people and thrive. Being her dog-mom was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and I miss her so much. I am a work-from-home creative type so I have lots of time and space in my schedule to take care of your pup! I am available for walks, playdates, and drop-ins, Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm and I also offer boarding. I live in a large first floor two-bedroom apartment that's right next door to my building's dog park. Enriching town parks and trails are super close, along with a community teeming with all sorts of dog-lovers and dogs. My home is a warm and welcoming spot for your dog's vacay!

About: Seventeen years of feeding and caring for pets from bunnies to dogs, cats, cows, pigs, and chickens. Have taken care of a variety of breeds, behaviors, and ages. I am available many of hours of the day during the week and weekend. I will not accept a job that I cannot reasonably provide care for the pet. I take advantage of animals’ unique physiological systems (i.e. smell, slow movements) to gain trust. I like to stick to pets’ household routines. If there are specific instructions for going outside, I would like to know ahead of time.
About: I’ve taken care of many pets in my life as I used to live on a farm growing up. I treat them all as if they’re my kids. I have a part time job as a nurse at a nursing home and I have two children in the home but over the ages of 15, other than that I have no young kids or other pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play! As well I have a park 2 mins from my home that I can take any pet I’m caring for.
About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. About: I love animals and always want to be around them. I live alone at home and have 1 dog who gets along with other dogs. I grew up with 2 dogs and am very familiar with taking care of them. I also grew up with cats and love cats. I have been taking care of my friends’ dogs - one was a 17 year old dog with medications. So i am familiar with giving animals medicines. I just lost my beloved beagle 2 months ago age 16 and miss her! I can have pets stay over my place or I can stay over their places. Basically, I love all animals and will make sure they have fun and stay comfortable! I work part-time and am home most of time during the weekday. I work Mondays and some Wednesdays from 3:30-6pm and Tuesdays from 11:30am-4pm and am free on Fridays. One side of my home has fence. I live near beach and bike trail and Ethan Allen park. Plenty of places to take dogs out for walk.
About: We have had dogs in the house since I was three years old and we were all responsible for caring for them. I’ve seen dogs through the puppy and training stage to the old age medication and care stage. My dogs were big Labradors, and I dog sat for many people with medium and small dogs at all stages of their lives. There’s not much your dog could throw at me that I wouldn’t handle with confidence and experience! I am currently attending an acting conservatory, the only days that that takes up my whole day are Thursdays and Friday's. Mondays and Tuesdays I’m free after 2, and Wednesdays I am free until 1! Weekends my schedule is wide open and I can work any time, and I am available every night of the week for overnights! With all the animals that have gone through my home growing up I know every pet is different. I follow the owners lead when it comes to how to care for them and never try to push my personal pet care habits on anyone. Everyone has a different relationship with their pet and I am here to respect and emulate that as best I can when you have to be away from your best friend! You and your pet are the boss!
About: I have experience dealing with a high-energy English Springer Spaniel since she was a puppy! I helped train her in basic commands using positive reinforcement and have walked her regularly for 7 years. As of right now I’m currently a junior at SUNY Geneseo and will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-3 and during the weekend 9-5. Your dogs safety is my top priority. I will make sure to learn the commands they respond to and their personality. Earning their trust is extremely important to me so they feel comfortable and safe in my care.

“Sheronda was absolutely phenomenal! She cared for my two dogs and my cat for almost two weeks while I refinished the hardwood floors in my home, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She was incredibly attentive and sensitive to each animal’s individual needs, including my cat’s shyness around new people. She even helped one of my dogs become more comfortable socializing with other dogs. Sheronda’s home is wonderfully set up for pets. She has a huge backyard with plenty of room for the dogs to run and play, and the dogs don’t need to be crated. She thoughtfully uses baby gates to safely separate them when necessary, and she even welcomes them to lounge on her furniture, so they truly feel at home. Throughout their stay, Sheronda sent me daily updates, photos, and even videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I always felt that my animals were safe, happy, and in excellent hands. She will absolutely be my number-one choice anytime I need someone to care for them again. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
