“Oh my gosh. I cannot say enough nice things about Jessica and her husband. They were absolutely lovely. And very reasonably priced. Super quick with communication and sent lots of photos. It takes my youngest dog a while to warm up to anyone and she warmed up to them unbelievably quickly. I plan on using Jessica again anytime I can, and recommend her to anyone. My dogs jumped on her coffee table the minute they walked into her house, and she just laughed. I knew she was good from that minute on. Thank you Jessica! ❤️”

“Bev watched my chihuahua for the first time. She came home happy and playful. I could tell she had a wonderful time. Also Bev’s comment was she sure loves her tummy rubbed which I knew meant if all she wanted was Bev to rub her belly she really liked her and trusted her. I will definitely be using Bev again soon.”

“They are a lovely couple! Very clean and pet-friendly environment. We loved receiving pictures and videos throughout Ruby’s stay and it was great that she was able to play and cuddle with their dogs. It seems like Ruby was right at home!”

“This was our second time using Rover, and I am so thankful we chose Charlette and her family. From the moment we dropped our dogs off, they fell in love — and honestly, so did we. Charlette was amazing. She followed everything I asked, kept me updated, and sent pictures so I always knew my babies were safe and happy. Her whole family treated my dogs like their own, and that meant the world to me. You can truly feel the love, the patience, and the care they put into watching them. I’ll definitely be booking with Charlette again. If you want someone who treats your dogs like family, she’s the one. We will definitely be booking her again.💕🐶”

“Kelly was awesome for our girls first stay away from home. She updated me throughout our 3 days away so that I had peace of mind and knew they were being well cared for. They came home happy and tired! Thank you Kelly!”

“Mindy was truly amazing! Chichi clearly loved his few days at Mindy’s house while I was away and came home happy (unlike his previous stay at a kennel where he came home totally miserable!!) Mindy sent many pictures and kept me updated , she clearly is very knowledgeable about animals, and chichi was well taken care off - I will absolutely book with Mindy again!!”
“Courtney provided wonderful care for our dog during a lengthy two week stay. She was constantly in communication with us, sent an abundant amount of photos, and made sure our pup felt right at home. We will definitely using her again for future needs and I highly recommend her to others!”

“We just picked up our pup from her first stay with Monica and it was a success! I appreciated the daily photo and video updates that Monica was so kind to send. Our CareBear acclimated instantly and was treated wonderfully. We will definitely be using her again down the road when we have future road trips. Thank you again Monica for making us feel so comfortable leaving our furry friend with you from the initial meet and greet to the actual stay!”

“For the first time using Rover, I couldn't have picked a better person to care for my dog. He definitely was well cared for and spoiled and I loved all the pictures I received daily. I will definitely use Michelle again and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks again Michelle!! I'm sure Dakota is missing his perks!”

“Erica was great! Super flexible and willing to take on Henry with pretty limited notice! He had a great time at her house, and Erica provided plenty of pictures and updates as to how Henry was doing! 6 out of 5 stars, would absolutely book again!”

“Raisa took wonderful care of our dog, Bonita! We could tell Bonita had a fun and comfortable stay, and she almost did not want to leave. Raisa went above and beyond by giving Bonita extra home-cooked dog food and comforting her during loud noises and thunderstorms. Bonita also loved spending time with her daughter and husband too. We are so thankful for the love and care Raisa and her family gave Bonita. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Carol. She took excellent care of my two dogs, providing constant updates that kept me at ease throughout. Her attentiveness and communication made the entire experience comfortable and worry-free.Highly recommend! A wonderful setter.”

“Dana was absolutely amazing from the beginning! Responded quickly and was very helpful. My dog definitely had a great time with her and she sent me updates. Would absolutely book with her again.”

“My dogs had a blast with Zaira and her family!!! They spent a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful we were having over the weekend and she gave them the love and attention they needed. She followed all care instructions to the letter and kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout their stay. Overall 10000/10, will absolutely re-book with Zaira. Mil gracias 💛”

“Anthony and Nate did a wonderful job with our Holly. I got photo/text updates on how she was doing. We would definitely book again. If you are thinking about booking with Anthony, you definitely should.”

“Kiara & Yves, did such an amazing job with my little kitty. She was so well cared for and the sitter was super responsive sending many nice updates and photos of Lottie. I would recommend their services to anyone who was looking for a sitter!”

Cat caregivers near you - Rapids
About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 17 years and have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m especially patient with dogs who are nervous, shy, or need a calm presence, and I always prioritize safety, comfort, and positive experiences. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’ve set aside dedicated time for dog walks! I’m flexible with weekday walks and happy to accommodate regular weekly schedules as well as occasional walks when needed. I focus on being punctual, reliable, and consistent so your dog can count on a familiar routine🐾 Your dog’s safety is always my top priority! “Kelsey took great care of our kitty boys (and was very kind to agree to care for them at the last minute!). She was great at providing us updates and sending pics while we were away, and I know my 2 cats liked her because we came home to happy kitties :) Would highly recommend Kelsey!”

“Melissa took care of my cat a couple times a day while I was away for a business trip. She was very communicative and sent me updates for each visit. Couldn't be happier with her service!”

Whether it’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or sticking to a careful routine, I show up with matched energy, patience, and genuine care.

“Kylee did a wonderful job in caring for our 2 elderly kitties. She has watched them before and they bonded well. She was thoughtful and creative in getting them to eat while we were away. Her loving care made all the difference in enabling us to have a get away.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’ll be ready to work with bigger dogs again very soon once my leg fully heals! I will provide care for pets at clients home by making sure they are fed, medicated if needed and safely crated after I leave. Also, keep the pets safe from anything dangerous.
About: I’ve been taking care of all different kinds of pets since I was 10, specifically many dogs. I’ve also fostered/trained multiple foster dogs for the past 6 years and cared for my senior dogs and dogs with medical needs as well. I used to have 3 of my own but now a single dog owner to the most welcoming dog who loves to be around other dogs. I’ll try to ensure we can keep your pets on their normal routines. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and a loving dog who’s used to welcoming all pets and humans. And I love to run; I'm happy to run with your dog if they want. I'm also comfortable administering medications, transporting animals, bathing, and following training instructions. Most importantly, my clients have always trusted me to be an honest and dependable person. Can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work short shifts and am pretty flexible at the moment. Available for drop in visits and walks. Message me and we will make it work. I follow instructions left by you, to keep your pet and home safe and your pet comfortable. Happy to take outside, feed, walk, and administer meds.

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was born! Fun fact, I don’t think I’ve ever lived without a cat. I love all cats and I don’t discriminate!! Small, big, orange, black, calico, etc. Your cat isn’t very social ? I’ll still like to think I can become a cat whisperer and they’ll magically love me. Does that actually happen? Nope lol! I’ve taken care of all sorts of cats from birth to death. My mom is a foster so she always has pregnant cats, baby kitties, special needs cats, or sadly end of life cats. I can’t wait to meet your cat(s)!!
About: Hi. I’m Sabrina. I have experience with dogs and cats since I was a child. The love I have for animals is something everyone around me recognizes quickly! Animals make life enjoyable and so much better, and they only deserve the best and happiest of times! I have my own dog and two cats yet, always enjoy helping friends or family out with watching their pets, stopping by to check on them, giving the cats some love down to walking the dogs. My life revolves around caring for animals. When im spending time with my animals, they go everywhere with me and really enjoy car rides with the windows down, water/ice cups from Tim Hortons, pup cups from Starbucks, running in the parks, or just simply playing fetch in the yard. Animals truly bring so much happiness in my life! I have open availability to care for animals. Available unless I’m watching a client already. I do not watch more than one client at a time . Instructions will be given to me from client of feeding, exercise schedule. Animals will be safe under my care and won’t be exposed to dangerous environments

About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. Spending time with my dogs and cats is probably one of my greatest joys.
About: Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to view my profile! Some of my experience includes in-home sitting for various dogs for multiple years, fostering with Boot n' Kit Canine Rescue with over 16 8-week-old puppies, fostering with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue for dogs newborn-senior, and volunteering in general with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. I do photography on the side, and your dog is guaranteed to be a model!

“Danielle was awesome! We left our 4 month old GSD with her for the better part of a day. Our pup seemed to be sad to leave her new friends behind when we picked her up. Danielle’s communication and scheduling flexibility is appreciated. We would definitely use her again if in the Buffalo area.”

“Carol is such a sweet lady and a true dog lover. She is hard to beat. I wish all Rover’s were this kind, loving and caring. She truly cares. She played with Murmaid all day, I could tell, because when my baby got in the vehicle she went right to sleep and that never happens with this high energy Boston Terrier 10 month old. I highly recommend her. She is amazing. She sent pics and communicated every day. Murmaid was pulling me to her door and pawing to get in for each drop off. Murmaid just loved her. I am making a special trip to come back through so Murmaid can spend a little more time with Carol. It was the best Rover experience I have ever had, and I use Rover all the time while traveling with my baby across the country.”

“Lucy had a great time! She played and rested and played some more. Their home is lovely and the yard is safely enclosed for outdoor fun. They are very accommodating to our weird schedule. We shall return and relax knowing Lucy is well cared for!”

“Laura was amazing with my off the wall super energetic 3 month old springer spaniel puppy!! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! Laura went above and beyond and even gave me tons of training tips outside of the visit because my pup is very difficult and has been struggling with separation anxiety. Best value out of a Rover stay I’ve ever gotten!”

About: Raised with the help of two Doberman “nannies,” in the home of a veterinarian. I was brought up in a home from tigers to monkeys and have a natural pull towards caring for all animals. Hi, I’m Raisa. I’ve lived with and cared for Dobermans, Dachshunds, Labradors, Australian Shepherds, Mixed Breeds, and now a senior Siberian Husky who adores other animals. I’ve raised puppies, supported seniors, and learned how to read a dog’s communication style quickly and intuitively. What sets me apart is the combination of: 🐾 A lifetime of hands‑on experience, including a course in Canine Science 🌿 A calm, confident presence 🎯 An ability to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs 🏡 A home environment that’s warm, structured, animal‑savvy and has a LARGE FENCED YARD Your pup will feel so understood and cared for, they’ll think of my home as their second home. I work from home full time so I will always be around hanging out with your pups from 8am-5pm and the evenings. Scroll down to "A Typical Day" to view their daily routine. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly female Siberian Husky who respects and loves fur babies of all sizes. Since our yard is large, we can accommodate multiple dogs at once if you have a large family. My pup is vaccinated and up-to date with flea, tick and heart worm meds. ATTENTION: No Indoor Marking Policy I cannot host dogs who mark indoors. Even small amounts of marking can damage flooring and trigger other dogs to do the same. If marking or repeated accidents occur, I will contact you for early pickup. Thank you for understanding and helping me maintain a safe, happy space for your pups.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Rapids
About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) Looking forward to chatting soon!! Pet care fits into my routine pretty frequently. I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

About: I have experience as an overnight pet sitter, drop-in visitor, and dog walker, providing dependable and attentive care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I truly love dogs and all animals, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy and am passionate about! One of my greatest strengths is communication. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel informed and at ease, so I make it a priority to provide regular updates, photos, and quick responses. I treat every pet like they are my own and work hard to ensure both pets and owners feel happy, comfortable, and confident in my care. As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule throughout the day for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Along with my nannying experience and active lifestyle, caring for pets fits naturally into my routine. I’m dependable, organized, and love spending time with animals, whether that’s going on walks, providing overnight care, or stopping in for visits and playtime. I always make it a priority to keep pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine when I’m caring for them in a client’s home. I follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any specific care requests to make sure each pet feels as stress free as possible. I love spending quality time with animals through walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention based on their personality and needs. In a client’s home, I make sure to respect the space, keep everything clean and organized, and provide regular updates with photos and communication so owners feel comfortable while they’re away.

They will never be left unattended for more than a few hours at a time. My goal is to keep your pet's regular routine as best as possible. I have several crates to crate your dog if that is what you prefer. But I also am happy to keep them out in our gated off kitchen living room area. We have a fenced in yard for them to run and play most of the day.
“She was very caring and patient with my dog who is curious about everything and has to pee on almost anything he walks by. I definitely will have her walk Boomer again and I would recommend anyone looking for a dog walker to use Kylee.”

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for 4 years as a vet technician and now embarking on a new career within the pet field. I have fostered over 100 dogs in the last 8 years, young and old, healthy and some with medical needs. I love all fur babies big and small and look forward to this new chapter. I run a small hobby farm and am home 24/7 so available all day to relieve animals for potty breaks or playtime. With animals of my own we are sure to get them the exercise or needs met. I have a large fenced in backyard or a long tie out for those that can jump or climb fencing. I have some playful fur pets that can keep them company or a separate living room if your animal needs his or her own space.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since the age of 12. I have dog sat for many relatives, and I take extremely good care of my beagle! I have plenty of free time as I recently graduated college and most of my grad school classes will be online, I also love going on walks, and would love for a furry friend to join me! My full focus is on the safety of the dog. They are like my babies. I will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, happy and healthy.

About: Animal experience includes working at a grooming shop and walking and babysitting a handful of dogs for several years, as well as always having dogs of my own. I have experience and am comfortable with big, small, shy, nervous, aggressive, sick, traumatized and old animals, so I can handle whatever your pet might throw my way.
About: I care for my blind shih tzu at home, so I know to keep my eyes and ears out to ensure safety for any animal! I am a student athlete at the University of Pittsburgh, so I know how to balance and diligently prioritize things! I currently only am busy for about an hour and a half every morning, to get a run in. Besides that I am free the whole day to take care of and watch your pet! :) I make sure your pet is safe, and feels comfortable in my care. I know when to go slow if a pet is more shy, but also I love to take pets to parks, go on walks, and cuddle!
About: I am currently looking to utilize my spare time and what best way to do that than to care for what I adore most... fur babies. I have 15+ personal years of caring for my own and would love to be there for yours in time of need ❤️ I’m comfortable with any type of breed as well as any size. I will care for your fur babies as if they were my own. Please do not hesitate to ask any reasonable questions, concerns, or requests you may have, I am very understanding and look forward to making some happy tails, giving the loving care when you’re unable to be there! Thank you for taking time to read my profile and I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies 🐾 I work at a surgery center full time, but work 4 days a week, on my off days or short days when I get out early, I am willing to care for any needs that arise. I am a surgical tech, so patient safety is my number one priority… That priority extends to my furry clients. I am always keeping a watchful eye and making sure all is well.
About: I have experience working with small and large breeds, with varying levels of energy and leash manners. I have also cared for senior dogs with high level medical needs. My qualifications include basic obedience training, monitoring play groups of large and small dogs, and canine CPR and First Aid certification. I am available during week days and most weekends, but please message me if you have questions about specific dates as my calendar does fluctuate! All dogs will be kept on a leash during walks. Safety first! I also have my treat pouch with me at every walk for positive reinforcement to encourage good leash manners.
About: At age 10, I started my own dog-sitting service from my backyard. Since then, friends and neighbors have consistently trusted me to care for their pets, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I have also worked with animals in a number of other capacities: behavior consultations, training and enrichment, rescue, and as a veterinary assistant—both emergency and general practice. I take a particular interest in reactive and fearful dogs. My own dogs were very high maintenance with epilepsy and severe anxiety, and my cat had diabetes, so I took their care very seriously. I treat other people’s pets how I would want mine treated, and that is with the utmost care and respect for the pet's and the owner’s expectations and boundaries. I am committed to providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment for each pet in my care. I work overnights, so I have time during the day to care for clients’ animals. I have plenty of time to devote to your pet and will spend as much time as possible with them. I keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. This is why I care for your pet in your own home instead of home instead of mine—it’s what they know and where they’re most comfortable. I’ll update you with pictures and videos often!
About: Hi, I'm Tara, an avid and experienced pet lover! I am a clinical psychologist and just earned my doctorate degree (Psy.D). I have a Bachelor's degree in animal behavior, 14 years of dog care/ownership experience, and 14 years of cat care/ownership experience! I have extensive experience with caring for senior pets as well as pets who are on medication/ special needs, as I have had both dogs and cats that require(d) medication. I am willing to walk or run with your dog, of whatever your pet likes to do! My availability is very flexible! I have no preference for breed or size, and I'm also willing to take care of other small pets or plants too if needed! My schedule is flexible, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with and take care of your fur babies! I am available to board, provide daycare, drop-in, or walk almost every day of the week! I have a pup at home that is great with other dogs and will happily keep your dog company. I do not have a fenced-in yard, however I do not leave pets unsupervised outside. I do have a fenced-in large patio that is available for pets to hang out/lounge around as well. Inside, your dog will be able to free roam, but with supervision as needed. I can also crate your dog if needed or requested.

“Dana was absolutely amazing from the beginning! Responded quickly and was very helpful. My dog definitely had a great time with her and she sent me updates. Would absolutely book with her again.”

“Anthony and Nate did a wonderful job with our Holly. I got photo/text updates on how she was doing. We would definitely book again. If you are thinking about booking with Anthony, you definitely should.”

“Darien did a great job communicating before our dog's arrival and sent lots of updates/pictures during the stay. Our dog seemed to have a great time and we would gladly have our dog stay with Darien again.”

“This Australian Shepherd Fenway’s second stay with Jessie. When we pulled up to Jessie’s place Fen was eager to get out and was very eager to go inside Jessie’s house. Fen’s reaction was key in letting me know what his first experience was like with Jessie. In both Fen’s stay there were multiple dogs there already, everyone was very calm and welcoming of the new guest and everyone appeared to get along extremely well. Jessie is soft spoken and has a very calm demeanor, this is obviously transferred into the dogs during their stay. Jessie was very good at keeping me updated during Fen’s stay with text and photos, I really appreciated. I honestly don’t know how this experience could have gone better for Fen or myself.”
“Ryan was great with Lilah! Paired her up well with a sweet pug. Then brought her for a big walk, I could certainly tell because of how tired she was when we picked her up. I received so many updates and photos which really relieved us. Thanks Ryan once again for your expertise with dogs and making Lilah so comfortable so we could go discover Niagara!”

“Heather and Nathan were absolutely awesome with Gaia while we were out of town. Heather provided a few updates everyday with photos to put our minds at ease while we were gone. Id highly recommend booking with Heather and Nathan :)”
