Personalized care for your dog or cat - Potsdam

“Pamela did a wonderful job caring for Ella for an extended stay with surprise medical care for Ella thrown into the mix last minute! I really felt like she cared for Ella as if she was her own pet. I got updates and pictures, and she handled the medical hiccup like a pro. So grateful that Ella was in such good hands.”

“Destiny took care of our puppy for us the first time we ever had to leave him. She provided a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of exercise and play time. She was super communicative and sent us daily messages and photos while were away! Highly recommend!”

“Connie was amazing! First time using Rover and Connie was consistently updating us and ensured our baby was well taken care of! Daisy came back to us happy and just like herself which says a lot about the way she was cared for! Highly recommend Connie!”

About: I’ve been petsitting for family and friends for two decades now, and would love the opportunity to help you out as well! I love all pets big and small, with familiarity with dogs, cats, lizards, rodents, and birds! Bonus! I’m a teacher as my day job, so you can trust that I’ve been solidly background checked, fingerprinted, etc, ensuring a safe, trustworthy person around your pets on a predictable schedule. I am also fully insured through PSI, adding an extra layer of protection for you and your pets! I am a full-time teacher from September to June. This means that my summers are wide open, and you can count on a reliable consistent schedule for your pets during the school year. Since I have my own cats at home, I offer pet-sitting at your home on your schedule. This can range from stop ins for potty breaks to walks every few hours to overnight stays - you tell me and I’m there! We’ll discuss your expectations to make sure that your pets get exactly the care you expect during your time away, and I promise clear and open communication while you trust me to watch over your babies! (If you are looking for boarding, please be aware that I have cats at my home. Any pup coming in MUST be good around cats, for everyone's comfort!)

“Josée was amazing! She was super friendly, thorough, proactive and flexible. It was our first time using Rover so we were a bit nervous but Josée went above and beyond welcoming our dog into her home and family and our nerves quickly went away. Lots of communication and updates with photos and videos were much appreciated! We know Hank was well loved and will miss Josee, Ella, (and even the cats, lol!) He has met some great new friends. Thanks so much!”

“Colleen was amazing! She communicated well and took such great care of our dogs. She sent pictures and let us know just what was going on each of the times she stopped in. Our house looked and smelled wonderful upon our return. We are so thankful that we found Colleen and can’t wait to book her again!”

“Anna was a wonderful pet sitter! She was very kind, caring, and attentive to my two cats and two guinea pigs, and I could tell she really took the time to make sure they were well taken care of. She also spent plenty of time playing with my cats, which I really appreciated. Anna was very responsive whenever we needed to text her about something, and overall she made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring. I would definitely rebook with her!”

“Krystal provided the perfect environment for Pooh. He got great care. At 13, blind and with diabetes, he still finds ways to get in trouble. He was safe. His medical needs were addressed and he was able to play safely with other pets.”

About: I have cared for cats and dogs since I was young! I also can care for mice, bunnies, rats, and other animals, just message me! I know each personality is different, and I can proudly say I have made friends with animals that love humans as well as those who definitely don’t. Animals with special needs are also not a problem for me! I’ve cared for multiple cats and dogs with special needs including diabetes, manual bladder expressions, and mobility/paralysis issues. I’m currently at college (Vet Tech Student) and am looking for jobs that allow me to keep working around animals during this time while also giving enough free time to succeed in classes! I follow instructions given by the owner and often send pictures as updates of how the babies are doing! I can crate, walk, feed, water, play with, and bathe animals (if needed). I also can trim nails if asked! I can send pictures after as proof I didn’t quick them to ensure safety and trust between both you and I, as well as your pet and I!

“Caitlin was incredibly responsive and friendly. We appreciated how much she cared for and loved our pupper. Would highly recommend.”
