About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. About: I’ve taken care of lots of pets over the years. I enjoy being around animals and showing them love because they do the same for us! I have a genuine love for taking care of things if I can help it and I’m going to school to even become a nurse. I also started a house plant hobby. Taking care of things is just in my blood. Also I set him free often to wander, and he's an adrenaline junky that loves to try to climb, drop, and crash into various objects and walls! - I raised salt water fish in my childhood home from lion fish to banana eels to pufferfish and idols and tangs! - My biggest dream is to have dog, cats, bunnies, ducks, and horses on my own homestead! pigs, goats, and any other animal would be fun too :) Experience (Personal, Pets, and Personality): Since moving to the city part time, my dogs and I have become very used to handling the hustle and bustle of the streets, especially Central Park. I volunteer at the Broome Animal Shelter to walk their dogs occasionally with friends. As a disabled person myself with pets who have had various issues throughout their and my life with some experience in basic healthcare, and lots of experience in first aid and crisis- any medical procedure needed to be done at home from syringes to needles to gauzes to bandaids, or even just hiding a pill in cheese- I am your guy! As a Filipino, I grew up with a very large family which includes having lots of animals around. But even in my own home, I grew up with a golden retriever, a havanese, and a poodle. Then two Havanese, and their cousin the Italian greyhound and.. another Havanese and... another poodle. I was the kid who memorized every dog breed, and wanted to visit the kennel and beg my parents for another dog. Our house was known as the place to house sit if a loved one was to go on vacation or anything. As an adult, I have lived with a cat each year that I could. Though these pets were pretty small in breed, it's actually my dream to get a dane or a similar sized and mannered big friendly giant. I spent a lot of my time at shelters, in nature camp, and at the nature center when I was a kid keeping all the animals safe. I have been that friend who pets immediately bond with when visiting someone's place for the first time. I was even such a frequent guest at the nature center, I even named one of the corn snakes "Bracelet" since she would hang around my wrist as I went to walk around the Greenberg Nature Center to greet, feed, clean, and care for the other reptiles. I have been an honorary member of the staff since I was 5 years old! I am a full time graduate student now working in Providence for 2 months. Since my work can be flexible and I'm located in the heart of the city, I can be available anytime! I have 5 repeat dog clients right now, and live with a cat and tortoise right now so I'm always surrounded by pets and happy to meet more. I will return to Binghamton August 2, and will be open again for house sitting then. When I am home in New York, I am available full weekends and holidays. I will be curious and courteous about whatever tailored needs your pet has so I can best respect and take care of your pet. For dogs- On walks, I don't just walk alongside a dog but I pay attention to their body, queues, and interests. During house visits, I'd love to keep them engaged by playing with them, keeping them active, and of course letting them rest. I am extremely well organized and I would ensure they get fed and taken out at requested times. For cats- I would make sure that they get what they need and want. From alone time to pets to cuddles to carrying. I would be on time with food, medicine, or any other duties. I would keep a good eye on your cat and ensure they get into minimal trouble, while also letting them roam and explore. For any other animals- I would just be honored to hangout with your pet, as an exotic pet owner myself. I would ensure I am well educated in the handling and care of your animal!
About: I've taken care of my own dog for the past 9 years Including training. (Black mouth cur). I've also dog sit for my friends husky puppy for about a years time before I moved out of the area. I volunteered At a petting zoo for a few years taking care of multiple species. And I even worked as a professional zookeeper for a year + working with wolves, several big cat species, along with primates, hoofstock, giraffe, several birds like macaw and parrots, and also reptile species. I've prepared and provides these animals with special diets, given medication, worked on training, and even helped bottle feed and raise several animals such as goats, cougars, penguins, and others. I currently work as a marine Biologist who goes out to sea several days at a time with not a lot of warning so I can watch houses and walk dogs several days In a row but It's easiest for me to schedule only a day or two in advance. I'm always very animal attentive and I will focus on your pets needs and their behaviors. I like walking so if I house sit your dog I will make sure they get plenty of exercise. Anything like providing medications or whatever your pet needs I can do up to your discretion and I listen to owners for all of their specific pet care institutions

My pets are like my children, and I consider myself to be their father moreso than their owner; and I understand that many of you feel the same way. I will treat your babies with just as much consideration and will care for them like they were my own beloved, furry, extended family members. I am extremely well-versed in all aspects of animal care. I was essentially raised with dogs and cats and learned how to nurture and care for them at a very young age. I have cared for dogs and cats my entire life. In addition to having many wonderful experiences as a loving parent to my own pets, I have volunteered at domestic animal shelters for decades. I have fostered dogs and cats for animal shelters in my home (at one point I had 5 cats, a mama dog and 7 puppies in a two-bedroom apartment!), been an assistant manager at an all-volunteer pet adoption agency, and volunteered at a wildlife rescue and rehab center/farm sanctuary where I got to feed and care for numerous wild and farm sanctuary animals. I have helped prepare meals, feed, and care for raccoons, baby squirrels, possums, pigs, cows, horses, and all sorts of birds. I have been walking dogs professionally for around 9 years. I primarily work as a Travel Nurse, where I take care of patients in the recovery room after surgery, and walking dogs is typically what I do between contracts. I am not officially trained in animal medicine, but mammals are typically mammals, and I am the person in my family that has largely taken care of any of my family's pets after any type of surgical procedure. I also have experience giving pets shots and oral medications from when I volunteered at the pet adoption agency. I am currently available for walks from 9 am to 9 pm, Monday through Friday. I figure that's really the sweet spot to help people's pets while they're at work. I am also available on weekends depending on the situation. Sometimes I will pick up per diem shifts at surgery centers between contracts, so I may be working as a nurse and unavailable. Your pets are your babies, I get it. It's very uncomfortable inviting a stranger into your home, and giving them access to the little fur babies you love as your children. I know what it's like from an owner's perspective, myself, when I've utilized these services for my dogs. I, too, have heard the horror stories about pets that have been abused by people who were trusted to care for them and they make me sick. It's impossible for me to 100% reassure you with words. All I can say is that I love fur babies and would never do anything to hurt them. Plus, I respect people's homes and your privacy, and I'm not going to use your bathroom or venture into areas of your home where I don't need to be. I'm just going to get your dog and their leash and do whatever you need me to do. If you want me to give them a treat, or fill their water bowl, I'll happily do that. But only if you give me permission to go into your kitchen, pantry, etc. As a travel nurse, I have to get fingerprinted for every new state license, and background checked and drug tested for each new assignment. Sometimes as much as four times a year, if I do 4 back-to-back 13 week contracts. Believe me when I say my background is spotless.

About: Animals (especially dogs!) have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. We do have a designated space for one of my pets due to her tendency to cause destruction if not monitored, but this decision is ultimately based on the needs of each individual pet.
