About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. About: I absolutely love animals!! I had a Schnauzer named Loki years ago. I decided I wouldn’t have another puppy, but I’ve been having a blast watching other people’s dogs. It’s kind of like a fun uncle type of situation I’ve been thriving on lately. I have tons of experience watching and handling animals. Since my youth, I’ve been in love with nature. I even became an Eagle Scout! I’m passionate about animals and all life in general. About: I grew up with three dogs, and I now have four of my own. I have taken care of all breeds of dogs ranging from chihuahuas to labs to newfoundlands. I used to walk dogs in my neighborhood when I was younger, I did it for free because it was my favorite activity. I have taken care of my family and friends beloved pets for sometimes two months at a time. I currently attend university of Rhode Island. I only have three classes a week, which leaves me plenty of free time to spend with your fur babies! I have a very flexible schedule so I can almost always work something out!
