“Doreen was absolutely wonderful. We were very nervous to leave Chloe, but she had access to the bed (we let her sleep with us), the backyard, the run of the home and endless cuddles from Doreen. We left a piece of our heart with her for two weeks and she kept us updated everyday with videos and pictures and letting us know that Chloe was eating well and loved the other dogs she was with. Chloe is 12 and stopped playing with toys years ago, at Doreens she decided to play with toys again. It was so heartwarming to see, we will be using Doreen for all our petsitting needs with Chloe.”

About: I use to work at a Doggie Hotel. I worked in the kennel area and use to manage the cleaning as well as the food distribution for every dog in the facility. I love taking care of my neighbors pets while they are away for vacation. I'm very hands on when it comes to puppies and training, I've done similar things at my last job as a kennel worker/day care dog counselor. I own 2 bearded dragon and take care of my parents dog from time to time! I make sure to give them special attention everyday. I make sure that each animal gets love and attention every hour of the day! I make sure that they have eaten, and if not I try to encourage, and make sure they are mentally stimulated with some play time! I also like to incorporate exercise when playing!
About: My family has had big dogs our entire lives so I learned to take care of them from a young age. I love all kinds of animals! About: I have over 20 years of experience taking care of dogs. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years straight, the last 10 years with two dogs. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs (from chihuahua to Great Dane) and connect easily with them. After all, I am a dog myself (per the Chinese Zodiac!) Currently I have two rescue dogs: A special needs (epilepsy) Healer/Aussie Shepherd mix named Ace and a senior Supermutt named Maisie. We lost our senior Boston Terrier in early 2023 due to Cushings and Cancer. So, I have experience taking care of dogs from puppy through hospice. Medications and special food needs are no problem. NOTE: As I have two dogs of my own.....if your dog is not well socialized and does not get along with all other dogs, big and small, or has a history of aggressive behavior, please do not put in a "Boarding" booking request. Socialized, friendly dogs only, please. No excessive whiners or barkers and dogs must weigh 35 lbs or less. Thank you! Reliable, Responsible, Mature. I'm currently retired so am able to spend all of my time caring for my animals (and yours). The most i'll ever leave the house for is 2-3 hours for an appointment, but this is rare. We start our days with breakfast at 7am, take a morning hike in the woods or trails or town. Then some relax time at home before lunch and a 1pm neighborhood walk. Then more home time and play or naps until our 4pm hike. Then dinner at 5. All meal times adjustable for your dog's needs. I am able to be home 99% of the time so am always able to focus on the pets needs. I have been an animal lover my whole life and care deeply about the health and well being of animals in my care or under my stewardship. We live close to many hiking trails and nature preserves so the dogs always get plenty of sniff walks and exercise and socialization. Always on leash and always careful of meeting unknown dogs that may be receptive. I'm pretty good at sussing out a dog's behavior signals, if we should meet or not, after so many years.

About: I love all types of animals all shapes and sizes and welcome them into my home. I would be honored to have your pet in my care and would treat them as if they were my own. I would provide them with anything they needed and any type of service. I would never mistreat any living thing.
